SPECIAL REPORT: 10 facts about oil and gas Justin Trudeau doesn't know -- and the Media Party won't tell you

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

So this week the Trudeau Liberals announced new global warming regulations that will apply only to oil pipelines from western Canada.

(Not to foreign oil that’s imported to Canada, and not to any other industry in Canada, like Ontario auto manufacturers, for example.)

Oh, and not to the Trudeau Liberals themselves:

I'll show you the limousines the Liberal cabinet ministers left running for 90 minutes while they made their announcement.

These people are charlatans and know-nothings.

I'll tell you ten basic facts about oil and gas that you would never know if you relied on the know-nothing Liberals who are wrecking our economy and their know-nothing Media Party cheerleaders.

Here's a sample:

For years, the left has said the Canadian oil sands caused “Dutch Disease":

The oil industry was so strong, they said, it was driving up the Canadian dollar, and that hurt manufacturing in Ontario.

Well, now oil is $30 a barrel, and so our currency is now 71 cents. But companies continue to move to the U.S., because of Ontario taxes and electricity prices, not the oil sands.

And did you know that on any given day, most wind turbines in the world don’t spin? They need coal or natural gas or nuclear to back them up. All they do make billions of dollars for friends of the government, who get taxpayer subsidizes to build them.

Look, demonizing the oil patch is fun, when you’re plundering someone else’s money. But after a while, they get the message, and take their money to a safer jurisdiction. Canadian projects are pulling out of Alberta, and moving to China, Nigeria and even Iraq. Yes, Iraq. But I doubt Trudeau's Liberals care.

You'll want to SHARE this special report with family and friends, because it debunks so much information about oil and gas in a concise, easy to understand way.

Tonight I'm joined by a New Brunswick Progressive Conservative MLA who explains why the Liberals need to support the Energy East pipeline, to help bolster the economy his province.

(NOTE: In New Brunswick, this is a non-partisan issue...)

Then environmental scientist Blair King comes on to talk about why an expert on industrial pollution, like himself -- who believes in climate change and says we should move off fossil fuels -- nevertheless thinks this pipeline should be built.

King says "everyone in the field knows" that pipelines are the safest way to move oil, especially when compared to rail transport.

It's an enlightening conversation with a real expert.

Any government in Canada that opposes oil & gas pipelines
should lose its share of oil & gas equalization payments.

Liebranos and Canadian Oil!
I love how our former primeminister has cozy relations with dictatorship countries!
-And how he signed the Kyoto accord before leaving !
Stop greenhouse gas or stop Canadian Oil exports?

His first job after leaving was work for a non Canadian Oil company called PetroKazakhstan! shares went from 1.50$ to 30.00$

Funny how the media doesn’t connect the dots that the meeting with Putin may also be his relations with Russian Oil?

Chrétien – Putin

Chrétien – and PetroKazakhstan

Ezra, I live in Jim Carr’s riding here in Winnipeg. I could not help but notice how you portrayed him as nothing more than an oboe player. Granted the people in my riding voted for him, but I assure you that the people here would not have put the guy in office if his sole qualification was that he played an oboe. When you portray a politician this way, you are not just doing a disservice to the politician, but also to your quality of journalism. If your tag line is that you are the other side of the story, then I would like to have you tell us more than what instrument a person played.

And for the record, I voted for Joyce Bateman, the conservative incumbent.

Remember Buffet and Gates visiting the oil patch as it peaked,or just passed, in 2007( i think). It was right after that Buffet bought more rail lines.

Thank you for connecting Warren Buffett as a major contributor to the oil pipeline cancellation by Obama. I’ve been saying this for a year now. Buffet’s super packs that supported Obama presidency runs clearly bought him support from Obama. Now Hillary Clinton is supported by Buffett and surprise surprise she is against the pipeline from Alberta as well. No matter what the oil will flow. Its just a matter of it coming out of a pipe or a rail car. I commented about this on the cbc website before and during the election and I was greeted with major opposition when I stated my opinion of the pipeline cancellation into the US was not environmental rather money driven.

Who is that tall ,bald headed goof stranding beside Candice Bergen. I like the way he curves his mouth down and tries to look so stern. Do these guys practise in front of a mirror – so that they get that down turned mouth to work in precise cohesion with their bobbing head ?

Zia you’re right. Enough already. The whole industry should stop trying to please a government and lobby group that will never be satisfied. A waste of time and as you have pointed out before, stockholders money.

Eleventh Fact: When the pipeline companies and the oil and gas industry provide funding for hearings into their permit applications they are endlessly perpetuating the hearings. Hearings run by this government will only end when industry quits paying and the money runs out. As long as hearings are taking place the government need not make a decision it does not want to make.

Let the Liberal government pay for the travel expenses, hotel rooms, meals, consultants, and lawyers requested by the multitude of Chiefs and Environmentalists who will demand to be heard. If the government does not want to fund the hearings, then the companies should accept that the government is not sincere and move on.

The role of the industry should be to have a technician or an engineer in attendance at the hearings to answer questions. The role of the government is to approve or disapprove an application by which ever method it chooses. The decision is the governments.

The hearings that will be held under the new Liberal process will be a mugs game and the industries should stay well clear.

Strange—— how Canada must protect their FOOD sovereignty -- for a few supply managed millionaires. Strange --how Canada will NOT protect their FUEL sovereignty—— to the detriment of the Nation. I guess it is just a political thing.

The solution (might need a little agitation from western leaders to advertise this).
!. Impose an immediate minimum $10/barrel import duty on all offshore imported oil – rising yearly by 1$/barrel to $20 until such time as UNIMPEDED oil pipeline construction is completed!!
We do NOT have a free-trade agreement with any of these suppliers!
motto: “Let those eastern bastards walk and freeze in the dark” i.e. not drive.
2. Send this money directly to support ALBERTA/SASK. infrastructure – NOT our boy-leader’s empty coffers.!!

Facts are fine and yes, this is what news is about, however these arguments are won by emotion, not facts. Great show, great facts but remember that it about Grandma eating cat food and freezing to death in the future when you want to convince friends that fossil fuels have benefits.

have you ever wondered if wind turbines could be built with only wind power? or if solar panels could be built with only solar power? ya, me either

It is time to take equalization payments to international courts put the money into a third party holding and drag the case on for years if need be also out of province workers should either not be allowed or pay a ten percent flat tax on there wages

A rich Alberta is a politically powerful Alberta and that cannot be allowed to ever happen again. A poor Alberta means fewer Albertans and fewer seats thereby keeping political power in Liberal Ontario and Quebec.

Social License for oil? Oh, that’s their version of “ethical oil”?
Another reason companies are avoiding Ontario, is little known, but HUGE! Wynn, has in place a policy, that if someone buys or leases ppty, and it turns out the previous owners polluted it – they’re “made to pay”. The decision process is arbitrary and cannot be appealed!
Not only does investment in Russia and OPEC countries hurt us financially, it reduces us and builds up them. How good is that for our financial and physical security??
Canada is the ONLY country in the world shutting down it’s oil industry and taking GW seriously! Can you name me another??

Ezra’s closing remarks mentioned how the libtards love to disrupt and then come in with the solution. Oh where I have heard and seen this before? Crisis, reaction, solution, the Hegelian dialectic. This pin up boy and his gaggle of globalist socialists have taken the reigns of government at a time when the world economy is going into melt down. Their answer? Kill jobs, impose more expenses on us and import thousands of people with a bizzare and totally foreign culture and religion who have no job. I can’t see this working out well for this country.

George Soros, the Koch brothers, Buffet and other US money families are exposed in the US.

And how these families control the liberal party of Canada (and provinces) and how they ram their foreign investments/interests down Canadians’ throats through their well financed liberal polticians???

Glenn Beck first mainstreamed George Soros as “spooky guy”. How about exposing these poutine sucking Demarais and Dussault oboe players???

It’s Saudia oil money (House of Saud) that is paying off Trudeau, Notley and BC’s Christy Clark to butcher the Canadian oil industry.

And Canadians just roll over and take it.

No wonder there are 2 MILLION Canadians living and working in the USA – these are not janitors that leave Canada – they are some of Canada’s best and brightest minds.
