10 things millennials have to look forward to

Lauren SouthernRebel Commentator

It's International Youth Day today, and our government is signalling their support for millennials — despite the fact that our government hasn't done much for them at all.

In fact, they've completely ignored the futures of young Canadians in an attempt to win in the now, leaving the problems for later.

In doing so, they've screwed over the future of our young people.

WATCH to hear my list of ten ways Canadian youth's futures are screwed.

Sums up our beloved millennial, I know I have 2 of them, the lost generation, they don’t want to be like us so they have no identity.

I just did a check on Alexa website which is not very user friendly as far as I am concerned. The results that I see are as follows:

Macleans. Global ranking 31,902. Down 4,923. Rank in Canada 1,165.

TheRebel.Media. Global ranking 35,908. Up 1,267. Rank in Canada 1,143.

Here is one piece of info I found on the search:

The algorithm according to which Alexa traffic ranking is calculated, is simple. It is based on the amount of traffic recorded from users that have the Alexa toolbar installed over a period of three months. This traffic is based on such parameters as reach and page views.

Having the Alexa toolbar seems to be a big factor in the calculation. The part I like is that Macleans is trending down by 4,923 and TheRebel is trending up by 1,267 positions. Take that Macleans, you dirty rat.

ANDREW STEPHENSON tried tacquiya: “Today’s Alexa rank for MacLeans.ca = 36,923
Today’s Alexa rank for the Rebel.media = 38,938
So, in fact, more Canadians are accessing Macleans.”

And apparently math issues as well!

Canadian liberals are fairly out of date with what has been happening in the world recently. I watch the trolls that come to this site with much joy since they are not interested in finding out the truth, but backing up what proven liars in the mainstream media tell them.

Andrew cannot imagine a scenario where he was given incorrect data or facts, because he doesn’t look them up on his own. Someone gives them to him, and they couldn’t possibly be wrong!

Just keep trucking, Andrew. You won’t make a bit of difference, but at least you showed those evil conservatives how stupid they all are!

“… If you care to ask Eitan Gilbrood for the daily access stats you may find that there are more Canadians accessing The Rebel than the “shit clings like a Hudson’s Bay blanket” Macleans site…”

Today’s Alexa rank for MacLeans.ca = 36,923
Today’s Alexa rank for the Rebel.media = 38,938

So, in fact, more Canadians are accessing Macleans. This little factoid was only transiently true, about a year ago.

Wood stoves already banned in Vancouver in the name of global warming. Also tree cutting banned most places. (Not that millennials know how to use a chainsaw or ax anyway.) It’s a little scary to think the only legal way to heat your house in Vancouver is state-controlled electricity or natural gas.

One thing I’ve noticed is that since Canadians have been suckled on the CBC for decades, they are loathe to look anywhere else even for an instant. Canucks have been, (like the frog story of old) boiled slowly until they don’t realize they are dying. As Francis Schaeffer said back in the 70’s we are a generation who seek “personal peace and affluence” above all else. Anything that would run counter to this grain is avoided like the plague. We avoid any truth that would suggest our peace is coming to an end. We want to be lied to and what better way to be lied to than by the CBC’s sweet soma?

Ah, the usual spin from ANDREW STEPHENSON… To wit:- “If the Rebel were gaining traction, it would be growing by mere word of mouth. It’s not. Sorry, friend. I can presume, via the latent hostility in your comments, that you know I’m right.”… Well, Andrew, Lah-de-dah! It Indeed Is!… It is growing by word of mouth, and internet postings, forwards to friends and family, and maybe even by the Good Old Boys sharing a beer at the local bar!… If you care to ask Eitan Gilbrood for the daily access stats you may find that there are more Canadians accessing The Rebel than the “shit clings like a Hudson’s Bay blanket” Macleans site…

“Andrew, I am not referring to “reach”. I am referring to the ability to pay reporters to be on site and get first hand accounts.”

Oh, please. 90% of their content is Ezra misrepresenting some poll or half-baked rumour he found on the internet. Sometimes they do it on site, or deliberately stir up trouble then blame the “SJWs” or whatever bogeyman of the day for getting upset.

“If you go to mytelus.com as an example, what site pops up? It’s not the Rebel, it is cbc who pays for that priviledge,”

Does the CBC pay for it? Do you have any evidence to stand behind that claim?

Perhaps Telus wanted to go with a news site of broad appeal, rather than some ultra-fringe conspiracy blog. I didn’t know that they did that. I think I will purchase some more shares tomorrow.

If the Rebel were gaining traction, it would be growing by mere word of mouth. It’s not. Sorry, friend. I can presume, via the latent hostility in your comments, that you know I’m right.
commented 2016-08-14 22:21:47 -0400
Andrew, I am not referring to “reach”. I am referring to the ability to pay reporters to be on site and get first hand accounts. That is a costly venture to have “desks” around the world or even across the country. If the subsidies aren’t necessary why does the CBC get them?
commented 2016-08-14 19:51:47 -0400
Andy….spoken like a true leftist regressive fucktard, ignoring facts. The Rebel does not enjoy the luxury of the cbc and you fucking well know it. If you go to mytelus.com as an example, what site pops up? It’s not the Rebel, it is cbc who pays for that priviledge, so go spew your bullshit to some brain dead university grads.

“You do realize, I hope, that the Rebel is a start up and runs on a shoe string budget and gets no $$ from the government like the 1.5 billion CBC gets. With that kind of money the Rebel would be an even more formidable force. "

There is no difference in accessibility between CBC and Rebel websites. The subsidies may apply to broadcast media but the web is the great equalizer. It’s a market issue – the Rebel, like its ideological twin over at Sun News, serves a very fringe audience. Indeed, the two outlets have very similar total audience of perhaps 60k per day, despite widespread access to both. If it were some upstart expanding into a previously unserved niche, you’d see far faster growth than has actually been observed. Instead … the Rebel has plateaued, suggesting it’s already saturated its target audience; year over year growth now is essentially nil and its current Alexa ranking is essentially the same as it was last year; and considerably down from its peak just after the election last year. The same was true of Sun TV, which was available to roughly the same number of households – 11million or so – yet managed order-of-magnitude lower viewership. It’s the product, not the subsidy.

The Rebel’s reach is not limited by CBC subsidies. It’s limited by the fact that the CBC’s target audience is far, far larger than the Rebel’s, and the ultra-partisan “news”, which is often tabloid grade hyperbole, simply doesn’t gain traction among mainstream Canadians.
commented 2016-08-14 12:50:15 -0400
Jay Kelly, the Rebel is the “real” news source. Since you haven’t yet figured it out I shall attempt the impossible: to enlighten you. The Rebel exists to report the news that the Main Stream Media won’t report. Hence Victor Laszlo reports all the Muslim attack stories that the MSM won’t or that they fudge the facts on. Since the MSM falls all over themselves to report lefty feel good projects like World Youth Day why would the Rebel? Except where the MSM refuses to report certain aspects because it doesn’t fit their narrative.

You do realize, I hope, that the Rebel is a start up and runs on a shoe string budget and gets no $$ from the government like the 1.5 billion CBC gets. With that kind of money the Rebel would be an even more formidable force.

I hope this helps you in the future to figure out how this site works.

Jim Clark , i just read your comment and i couldn’t agree more ,you hit the nail on the head, the millennials doomed us with their love for the idiot turdo with his sunny ways, not so sunny if you are a real Canadian and work in the resource profession and live west of Toronto.

Functional? You’re more generous than I.

I was a heavy equipment operator and trucker during the Harper years and when the financial hurricane that was the American collapse of 2008 happened, Harper worked some real miracles and I kept my job and continued on in my career. I payed a ton of tax money. My money built roads and payed for MRIs. I made a ton of money and now I stare at the portion I saved, in it’s TFSA form, and long for an economy where I can actually invest it instead of watching it shrink, due to inflation and ever-increasing taxation, at a rate of 1% growth per year. I long not just to invest it, but to resume working in a job where I can continue to grow it with occasional one thousand dollar contributions.

I am still a heavy equipment operator during the Trudeau years. There is no work anywhere. Harper worked economic miracles. This was “bigoted and divisive”, so now Trudeau, thumbing his nose at that evil old Harper, gets drunk in planes with all his friends, attends gay parades, and spends his time figuring out how to make a massive new tax while our economy crashes like the Hindenburg. I have never heard him say a word about a plan to repair Canada’s economy and get me back to work because, “Sunny Ways.”

I live in a motel back East and I collect EI. I live among liberals. I feel like Jane Goodall. I want to go back to Alberta. I need more pipelines and I need a Prime Minister who is going to make the economy his number one goal. I want to hear two things out of the next conservative PM’s mouth:

1. "Our number one goal is repairing the economy and fixing all the damage Trudeau did, killing all the new taxes, cutting entitlement programs back to their Harper-era levels, and stopping the “refugee”/freeloader/danger to Canada programs."

2. “Our number two goal is neutralizing violent jihad in Canada and we will take all measures necessary, including deporting any convicted jihadi, even if they have a Canadian passport. That is, if they ever make it out of general population in the penitentiary. And if they only have a Canadian citizenship and no other, we’ll airdrop them over ISIS territory and we’ll be nice enough to give them a functional parachute.”

Millennials “screwed” themselves.

They lined up in droves to vote Liberal based on King Selfie’s promises of legal pot, free tuition, “tax the rich” and the “cool factor” of having our own Kardashian family inhabit Sussex Drive.

Now reality in the form of corruption, high taxes, and the death of decent employment is biting them in the a—. Boo…Hoo. No sympathy here…

Millennials (and their children if they ever find the responsibility to raise some) will have to live with the fallout of being brainwashed in school and media with all the world’s most self-destructive ideologies. KLeptocratic socialism will make them eternally struggle for a basic austere living, cultural marxism will micromanage their every though and deed and globalism will sell them out to transnationalist corporate pillage, and their unquestioning conformity will buy them an early demise in some globalist euthanasia program when their value as a production unit is outweighed by their cost to the globalist state in entitlements.

HG Wells pretty much nailed the future for these fools when he personified a lost generation as “Eloi” in “The Time Machine” – a race of slaves which lives only in the moment, devoid of moral conventions and traditional social institutions who become the prey of a more dissolute predatory race – like that Millennials are willingly entering like a herd of lemmings stampeding for a cliff in an unintended mass extinction.

Lauren the millennials are the morons who voted for turdo, they are so busy with a smart phone glued to their ears almost 24 hours a day they needed some one like the lefties to tell them how to run their lives, they are the ones who brought in this mess with their social justice warriors ,the transgenders wanting to decide on a daily basis if they’re male , female or what ever for the day, they are the ones who voted for turdo to bring hate speech laws so no one dares to open their mouths to oppose turdo’s wacky ideas, they voted for turdo to bring in mass loads of muslims and overwhelm our health care system and welfare system and judicial system at the expense of real Canadians, they are the ones who drive the fanciest cars , the latest cell phone and smart phone technology but go crazy with protests when we need pipelines and resource extraction to support their entitled ways ,so no Lauren they brought all this on themselves and actually think turdo is doing something for Canada , Jesus christ they actually think going topless and daily selfies and constant vacations ,jetting all over the world on tax payer dime while swilling thousands of dollars of booze on our dime and giving billions of dollars away to the UN and third world shit holes is what a pm is supposed to do ,they’re going to find out the hard way what their lefty brain washed entitled asses voted for, i have no sympathy for them and disagree with your article, this is the nanny state they want and have no idea they are giving away Canada to turdo and his UN agenda of world government run by the likes of obumar ,merkel and clinton if the sleaze wins in November, these millennials have been protected from the real world their whole lives and have no idea how to cope in the real world ,and finally they have no idea that turdo’s electoral reform and supreme court changes will make it almost impossible to get rid of the liberal party and the worst so called pm in Canadian history

You missed one. Millenials will not have any original movies. They will be all reboots, and comic book adaptations. In all cases, the male and white characters will be replaced in the name of diversity and inclusion. In 15 years, Super Man will get a sex change, sit in a wheelchair, and is undergoing a conversion to Islam. The bad guy will probably be an oil company run by nazis.

Weird to proclaim “International Youth Day” just a week after the celebration of “World Youth Day” in Krakov, Poland. World Youth Day has been celebrated around the world every few years. This year’s attracted a couple of million pilgrims, as has been the case in recent years.

Eventually The Rebel will be a genuine news outlet and will report on these events.

You forgot the new parallel Aboriginal society we are permitting to be built in our country. A parallel society, existing almost entirely of hybrid Aboriginals which we, of course have the privilege of paying billions for. You wouldn’t want our CBC to actually permit us to have an intelligent discussion or even an opinion on this on “our” heavily censored, activist agenda, website. It’s racist obviously to disagree with the special identity, rights and privileges racism.

I have a solution, if it is not too late by then.
Lauren Southern for leadership of the CPC by 2022 and the next PM after that. With a few more years in the media and then some political experience, she could be a leader. And unlike our current PM, she ain’t just a pretty face.
Think about it, Miss Southern.

Richard Wakefield i agree when they break society like they want, they will be the ones least able to cope, there will be no one slaving for them when that happens.

Once again, she is the best here at The Rebel, not just cause she’s pretty, she brings the Infowars element to this place time and time again.

The one thing about the woodstoves though, there’s already murmurs about banning those under Agenda 21 UN directives, probably may use ICLEI, but somewhere along the line that is coming, despite Trudeau selling firewood.

The plan is not to make you use antiquated equipment like a woodstove, its for you to freeze and die. These elite psychopaths are depopulation advocates, they are eugenicists. Anything and everything that is essential for life will be restricted or forbidden to some degree, that is the agenda.

Millennials, like sheep for the slaughter! Oh how the gooberment will slaughter you and how their minions will graze upon your wild grass until there is no more. The last to board the gravy train before it breaks under the strain of entitlements and the golden handshakes.

Excellent piece Lauren, I really like the tone you put on this video. Get stuffed you liberal bastards. Enjoy reaping what you sow. Thankfully I decided not to take social gender studies or something as equally as useless. I decided that hands on training and experience were the way to go. What’s debt? lol😉

Not to worry about politically correct millenials who want everything free, when the economy collapses because of their weight, they will be the first to succumb to it because they will have no clue how to fend for themselves.

A couple of millennials were overheard in the basement bedroom of one of their parents’ house, while watching this video:
Justin: Dude, that Lauren Suthern is soooo hot.
Gerry: What’s she talkin’ bout? I don’t need to buy a house, mom and dad’s gonna leave it to me when they die.
Justin: uhh, hehe, yeah, and who wants kids anyway, they suck
Gerry: She’s kinda miserable bitch though,
Justin: She said transgender, hehe. If I was gay, I’d do Trudeau
Gerry: Yo dude you’re hilarious. Hey! You’re double tokin’, pass da doob over…
(To those millenials that actually work hard, understand economics, and don’t burn a bag a week, I apologize.)

Right to the point !
The “Millenials” voted en mass for the current regime, led by the 1%er without a clue. Who by the way has already started to “SPEND” your future.
Factor in Automation and the picture looks even dimmer . . .
Of course Canada’s education system is turning out mostly brain-washed marxists and free-loaders . . . but the Teachers’ Unions are doing great . . .
As I said before the Election last year . . . We are ALL Ontar-i-owe NOW ! ! !
