'13 Hours', 'Homeland' and even 'Marvel's Agents of Shield' nominated for 'Islamophobe' of the year by Islamic group

Rebel Staff

Michael Bay's Benghazi film '13 Hours' has been nominated for an award. And it's quite a ridiculous one.

The UK's Islamic Human Rights Commission has released its nominees for 'Islamophobe of the Year'.

A statement on the website reads, “Islamic Human Rights Commission have announced the nominees for the Islamophobia Awards 2016. The gala dinner features a satirical awards ceremony where those who have been the most Islamophobic over the past year are awarded for their "accomplishments". The event aims to subvert Islamophobia through comedy and revue while simultaneously addressing a serious and significant issue in a creative manner.”

The full list for movies and TV shows include Homeland, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, It IS About Islam: Exposing the Truth About ISIS, Al Qaeda, Iran, and the Caliphate by Glenn Beck,Tyrant, State of Affairs, Citizen Khan, Arrow and Marvel's Agents Of Shield.

For print and online media, Fox News and Breitbart are included.

And for the 'international' category nominees include Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Geert Wilders, Charlie Hebdo and even Liberal Bill Maher.

Charlie Hebdo won the award last year – despite the fact just a few months prior, its staff was murdered by Islamists for making fun of Islam's prophet Muhammad.

Islamophobe = smarter than the rest of them

Well damn, that would be an honor.

Does the UK Islamic Human Rights Commission help with Human Rights in the Middle East?

This is only the beginning. If we were to use Europe as a model, I give it 5 years and Canada will have “no go” zones through out. I know the US is already screwed.
As an freedom minded atheist, I care not what you may believe in.
But this is jihad.
An Economic jihad.
A cultural jihad.
A dialectic jihad.
Wake up folks……Islam has an axe to grind.

Maybe one day The Rebel will be big enough to make the list.

Agents of Shield must have some sort of sublime messages only leftards can see.

I feel like I’m living in the twilight zone
Would love that award though

I can’t figure out why Marvel’s Agents Of Shield would be considered critical of Islam’s barbarism.

Ummm, am I missing something here? I’ve watched Arrow and Agents of Shield since they first aired, and to the best of my knowledge, neither show has ever had any episodes or dialogue where Islam is disparaged in any way shape or form. On another note, these awards appear as of they’re the religious equivalent of the Razzies, the awards given out annually for the worst in movies.

Pretty ridiculous is right.
When rhey actually have a human rights commission in an Islamic nation I may listen – but from the Sharia practiced there and the attitude of that UK website, it appears only Islamists have human rights, infidels don’t.

Hope they choke on Trump’s wins

“I’ll get my wife to look out for her designer burka.”

That was priceless – I’m still laughing!

A badge of honour? This award should be coveted and treasured.
Can we nominate TheRebel.media?
Where/how do we vote?
Is there a green carpet reception on arrival?
I’ll get my wife to look out her designer burka.
Is the winner’s trophy a forbidden replica of little mo?
Can we get drunk at the gala parties afterwards?
Sign me up.

Yes, I would happily wear it as a badge of honor. Three of my favorite shows/movies made the list….sweet? Kinda disappointed the Rebel wasn’t in there…what gives? Wish 24 was still around!

I would be happy to have that badge as well

Because it simply shows a realistic outlook on what islamics bring to the table.

Wear that award nomination as a badge of honor…

It’s not like OUR holy book tells us to kill the Muslims.
