“Get over it. Find a job!” MUST SEE: Blacksmith absolutely melts 9/11 truther 'jet fuel' theory

Rebel Staff

A blacksmith has taken it upon himself to set the record straight on whether 'jet fuel can't melt steel beams'.

The YouTube channel PurgatoryIornWorks posted the video on December 15 and has been viewed over a million times.

WATCH: 7 major 9/11 conspiracy theories debunked

9/11 truthers are often heard using the phrase “jet fuel can't melt steel beams” when arguing that the Twin Towers were brought down by explosives.

The blacksmith's reaction at the end alone is worth watching the video.

“Your argument is invalid. Get over it. Find a job.”

Indeed. You need a job if you want 'loose change'.

I will wait until 2051. It is the most respectful thing to do with the doubt. There are holes everywhere in the stories beyond how steel behaves at certain temperatures.

Randy… You are so correct..!!!
I am sick and tired of going into great detail for years and years and years over this topic which generally proves people would just sooner win an argument then dig down to the truth.
In the famous words of the cartoon character foghorn leghorn AKA “drool”
“don’t bother me with the facts son I’ve got my mind made up already”
But rather than wasting time over this burn out topic.. as Canadian citizens we should be more concerned about reining in the political authority that politicians have granted them selves stretching far beyond their means as civil servants here to serve the country not themselves or their personal agendas.
Long live Canada and let’s grow toward freeing our country from the grip of political over authority

Drew, sorry it took so long to get into this again, work and Christmas, whatever. The biologicals argument comes from that famous Loose Change video, apparently the claim is that a couple of doctors happened to be on the crash scene in that field in Pennsylvania before the government swooped in and chased everyone away, and their testimony is that while there was a big hole in the ground and lots of smashed up equipment burning, there was no sign of bodies. Not a single drop of blood on anything that these two doctors could find, and they were looking. Maybe. Like you said, kinda hard to prove one way or the other. I used that example as just one point brought up by that group and others, there are better questions than that. My favourite is the pentagon. Homeland security has released a total of 5 stills from video captured by 5 different security cameras that were operating in that vicinity that morning. They all show absolutely nothing, just blue sky and clouds. The accusation is that it wasn’t a jetliner that went into the building, but a rocket fired from a military jet. Homeland doesn’t want to release any images of the plane for fear of showing the faces of the passengers looking out the windows at their impending doom, to protect the families. So, release a shot of the shadow of the plane, showing the shape of the aircraft with wings on the grass of the pentagon just before it’s impact. Or just the bottom half of the jet. There’s all kinds of ways, IMHO, to shut up the conspiracy theorists on this issue that doesn’t offend anyone or leak any official secrets, but they just refuse to do it. It’s that attitude, that “we’re the government, trust us or be labelled a nutjob” that puts me off. As a reporter I would jump all over that, wondering what they are hiding. I say a real investigation should actually answer all the questions. Look at Kennedy; the official version simply left too many questions unanswered and look at what we have now. This 9/11 official version is as full of holes as the conspiracy theories (at least!) and I gotta ask why the government doesn’t simply produce some evidence to shut up the theorists, if it can. Not responding just gives the tinfoil hat crowd more ammunition.

i don’t believe anything the government tells me.

Al Strom – I agree with you. People do not want their paradigms upset by things like FACTS. Just think of it, if the Government/Media distorted the truth about this, than what else have they covertly done. Hmmmmm, now that is the real question. But not to worry people, watch TV, take your meds, eat the junk food and don’t ask questions, every thing will be OK, the Government is taking care of you. (Don’t forget to vote).
commented 2015-12-20 00:00:05 -0500
Agree with you Randy. BTW this demonstration does absolutely nothing to explain the collapse of building 7, a 50 storey office building that had a few smaller fires burning in it. It fell down into its own footprint. That contradicts the true physics of what was possible in any of those steel structure buildings, by the explanations that were given. If it defies physics, then you have to look someplace else for the truth. PS There are ytube vids of a woman standing in the hole that one of the airplanes made, waving at the cameraman. In order for the heat to melt the steel structure the woman would have been vapourized. RIP

There is a little bit of a difference between heating a piece of steel in a forge/furnace and heating it by throwing some kerosene on it and lighting it. You could pour kerosene on it all day long as it burned and never even get close to 1800 degrees. In fact I think you would have a hard time getting it to 450 degrees (even on a windy day). So the demonstration is meaningless. Now what I really have to say is about all the commenters that refer to “tin foil hat” or “conspiracy theory” idiots. It is actually a “cop out” for those people that have no serious argument so they digress to regurgitated insults and “Ad Hominem” attacks. The reason for this in my mind, is that it deflects the responsibility of actually finding out the facts. If the facts were looked into and the Government/media narrative was found to be questionable, that in itself, would destroy their whole paradigm. They would have to question other Government/media narratives and that would also introduce doubt to the official story about almost everything they have come to believe in. That would blow their minds. So go easy on them, you don’t want to upset their bliss, their belief that the Government it taking care of them.

Atoken how many of those claims can be proven though? Who says their was no biologicals? What is the source of these claims?
commented 2015-12-17 22:43:55 -0500
Atoken did not spit on your comment , just amended it. There was more in play than just the jet fuel. Sorry if i came across as crass to you, i do respect your opinions , i never find you to be a troll. And the wind at that height would have pushed in lots of oxygen, And you presented thougthful evidence, the tinfoilers make stuff up , like phony items found in the wreckage and telling the victims families they did not know their own loved ones voices. And when i mean tinfoilers, i am talking about decades of claims, WW3 has been predicted at least 12 times by this group. I do not believe the Kennedy explanation for a second, i just get tired of these people who think nothing ever happens without their own personal boogeyman behind it.

Drew, I couldn’t help but notice how you crowed about the one thing I said you agree with, and then spit all over everything else I said. What about the rest of it, the “one item of proof” argument to shut up the conspiracy crowd? I got the distinct impression that didn’t impress you as much. I say the point about the pentagon is a valid point, and easily disproved. I also say the Loose Change argument about the lack of biologicals at the Pennsylvania crash site is a valid one, how about a single shred of clothing from there? How about the fact that cellphones didn’t work in 2001 from 5 miles up? Anyone got a solution for that? And…one thing so many anti-conspiracy types just continue to ignore is the Building 7 issue, which I have yet to hear any explanation that makes more sense than “aliens did it”? That one’s been brought up here several times, and the only explanation I’ve heard on this thread is that if you don’t believe everything the government tells us you’re a nutjob, and the government tells us that we shouldn’t worry our little heads about such complicated questions like how did a building come down in it’s own footprint when it suffered no airplanes crashing into it or the subsequent jet fuel bath that apparently is needed to bring down such buildings in such a manner.
You know, I just got an idea! Maybe demolition crews should just use jet fuel in the future to blow buildings up! Apparently it not only guarantees that two really, really huge buildings will fall completely in their footprints but it also ensures that nearby skyscrapers will also fall into their respective footprints also!
These are all good questions. Good questions require answers that are as good, IMHO. I’m not saying there aren’t answers, just wondering why, instead of belittling and insulting those who ask them doesn’t anyone actually try to answer them? In this video, there’s the question I raised about the difference in temperatures, and so far I’ve had one attempt at an explanation. What about the thickness of the steel? That, too should be addressed, shouldn’t it? Oh, that “adding oxygen” solution? It doesn’t really work. That 1500 degree point is the temp of burning jet fuel, with oxygen. The only way it could have been higher with the addition of oxygen is if the oxygen is added with some force, like with a bellows. Even then it’s only while the oxygen is being added and for a few seconds after. In order for the steel to turn soft like that it would have to have been in the forge for a while. So…the argument that the steel collapsed in the lower floors because jet fuel “splashed” on it in the crash is just silly. But I do appreciate the effort in answering the question without resorting to “you’re just a tinfoil hat wearing idiot” which is what I usually see.

The argument that it couldn’t be a conspiracy because too many people would know sounds good and solid, but apply a few facts to that argument, like:
– Six corporations in America and three in Canada own and/or control ALL the media and the handful of directors that sit on multiple boards control the editorial policy of ALL the media and like the name Media Party implies, they work in collusion with those who actually run things.
– The mass of psuedo-news/infotainment puked out of this tightly controlled gigantic structure daily is superseded by the next day’s puking out, and the next day’s and the next…and people generally have a low attention span.
– Confidentiality agreements and national security – serious stuff, backed up by serious people.
– The successes of False Flag operations like the Gulf of Tonkin incident and the following, speaks for itself:
– "The Government’ is not on your side, does not care about you and has their own agenda as a government and as individuals. Government/politics attracts sociopaths.
I don’t know one way or the other if there is a conspiracy or not. I do know what came out of 911- The Patriot Act and Homeland Security and all the evil that has wrought. I do know there are many, many anomalies, unanswered questions and redactions in the 911 Commission Report – the Warren Commission Report is still the ‘official’ version of the JFK assassination, 50 years after the fact.
I just don’t trust ‘The Government’ – about anything…

Hey drew.. I never meant to insult the blacksmith… Only you… LOL
Yeah… I worked pipeline to but it doesn’t take a lot of mindset to lay miles and miles and miles of pipe on the ground where the biggest obstacle encountered are the tie in points.. and that’s probably the only job that you’re capable of doing. (I am sorry… I shouldn’t of said that… My weaknesses as a human being.. I’m sure you are very intelligent. ) You are more entertaining than you realize and it’s easy to push your buttons..
Most people say what they have to say in one post but you wind up so quickly that you must do it in three or four as you’re incapable of setting it all into one submission. Your inability to realize that all these false flag attacks (and there many more) are being engineered to ratchet down our freedoms and ignite Middle East conflict is painfull. It is my fondest hope to believe that you are young, foolish and and will grow over the course of time to see how the world is changing and with enough time you will understand that you are basically a victim of your own opinion with the possibility of enlightenment with age. The world is an evil place and evil men rule it and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals and their agenda and their goals and agenda have absolutely nothing to do with our well-being.
Now I know that you will have some smart Alec thing to say to this reply and that is fine because I probably deserve it… But over the next five years watch how our once peaceful world of not that long ago will fall into absolute chaos. The people I fear for the most are the children on both sides of this conflict because they will be paying for our stupidity in one way or another.
Regardless of what you have to say about me or this reply this will be my last posting for this blog as there is no profit in the petty bickering’s as we try to decide how and why the world is falling apart. To some degree we are all social scientists whether we realize it or not and having said that we should try to figure out how to end our involvement in the Middle East and bring back our boys and girls from over there so we are not having them further sacrificed on the altar of war for the elite powers that be for profit.

Atoken makes a great point, the amount of people required for this to be a conspiracy is mind blowing and to keep them all quiet is impossible. And you would have to have military willing to kill their own citizens in large numbers to pull it off. GET REAL TRUTHER IDIOTS! I have heard this garbage for decades and the tinfoilers always predict this or that and it never comes to pass, yet they think they are smart , they are never proven right and yet they assume they are. PATHETIC!

Greg which fire did you see that had that much weight above it? And the mob cheaped out on materials when they built the place. Now go heat some steel to 1500 degrees and put weight on it, see what happens.

atoken it is not the highest temp that could have been achieved, oxygen makes a fuel burn hotter. The air added to the temp.
commented 2015-12-17 14:57:31 -0500
One point nobody caught. Jet fuel burns at 1500. Steel melts at 2700. So why show the steel at 1800? What relevance is that? If steel gets soft at 1500, which is the highest temperature that could have been achieved, why not show the steel bar getting soft at that temperature instead of 300 degrees higher? His example actually proves nothing relevant to 9/11. Also: half inch steel? What part of those buildings were built with half inch steel? Wouldn’t it have been at least an inch thick? You want to show something relevant? Show what 1500 degrees does to steel that’s as thick as what was used in the towers. Once again, I’m not posting this in support of the truthers, I’m just saying if you’re going to present a position at least make it relative to the argument you’re addressing.
commented 2015-12-17 14:40:55 -0500
One argument against it being a conspiracy: this one would have had to have been huge. There would have been hundreds of people involved, and at least partially in the know or at least know that it was a conspiracy. That alone is a pretty good argument, as every secret told to a person increases it’s chance of getting exposed exponentially. One good argument for it being a conspiracy: why the incredible top-down secrecy and absolute insistence on accepting the official “truth”? I’ve always wondered why they don’t, for example, just release a single unedited photograph of the plane crashing into the pentagon? They say it’s because it’s the pentagon, and someone might learn something from the photograph (?) or some such stupidity. Then they say they don’t want the families of the victims to see their loved one’s faces looking out the windows of the plane seconds before impact. Right. So crop out the top half of the plane! Even an unedited screen capture from one of the many security cameras showing just the shadow of the aircraft on the lawn of the pentagon, to prove it actually was a jumbo jet instead of the rocket the Loose Change people insist it was. My attitude is that if the government wanted to shut these people up for good all they have to do is provide one shred of proof that the conspiracy couldn’t have worked that way, and it blows the whole theory out of the water. But from the officialdom: crickets. So the theorists multiply with the theories, and the controversy continues. Why not just release some proof? It pretty much has to exist, if it did happen the way the government says it did. They say this is the way it happened, because we say this is the way it happened, and if you disagree with us you’re a nutjob. Not because you’re factually wrong, but just because we are the ones who decide what the truth is and anyone who disagrees is a nutjob, because we get to say who’s a nutjob and who isn’t. It’s like arguing with pot prohibitionists; I’m right because I’m always right, and you’re wrong because you disagree with me. I’m not saying the tinfoil hat crowd is right nor am I saying I believe there was a conspiracy. But it would be nice if those who had actual proof to disprove all these theories coughed some of it up to settle the argument. This video doesn’t do that.

I am sorry for your comment drew… To believe that you are anything more than a media shill or paid troll is unlikely.
But… As a matter of fact I do have an extensive background in metallurgy. For 35 years I worked as a multi ticketed "B"welder, supervised and consulted for countless rebuilds on charge furnaces for cokers and high-pressure boilers for power plants involving a variety of exotic and common metals.. I also have an extensive mechanical background as a result of working with a professional millwrights who’s knowledge and capacities have furthered and completed my understanding of the process. I have witnessed refineries on fire with an intensity that one couldn’t imagine unless you witnessed it for yourself and there has never been a structural loss of integrity in any of those events that mirrored the buildings that were struck by planes. I’m not going to give you my resume as I’m not trying to impress you but simply further the truth with this post. I think your lack of understanding and inability to extend beyond the belittling of others is a direct result of your insecurities and your trapped little boy syndrome which overshadows your ability as a free thinker.
