"In Paris, they created a river to justify the bridge"

Tim BallRebel Columnist

Negotiators in Paris achieved an agreement that they could all sign.

It was simply about that: getting an agreement to save face and make it appear they were doing something.

For example, John Kerry said the agreement was non-binding and blamed the Congress for making it necessary because they would not approve a binding agreement. In fact, it was Russia, India, and China that did not want it to be binding. Those nations are central to the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) group that is setting up a system to challenge the UN, the World Bank, and the IMF. The problem is if they take over it will be worse than the flawed US as the superpower.

The non-binding portion makes the entire exercise a farce. Everyone knows that any legislation that is not enforceable is useless.

John Kerry openly admits that even if the entire proposed reduction of CO2 occurs it will make no measurable difference. This information was known and admitted 15 years ago. Tom Wigley, former Director of the Climatic Research Unit (CRU), the source of the leaked emails exposing the corrupted science, and a major author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Reports said so about the Kyoto Protocol.

He noted that even if they implemented the entire CO2 reduction, the change in projected temperature increase would reduce from 2.1°C to 1.9°C by 2100. The reductions proposed by the Paris Conference are even less.

Interestingly, but little known, is the fact they never hid that their actions were driven by political ambition. Consider Senator Timothy Wirth’s comment in 1993:

“We’ve got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing …”

Wirth brought the fiasco to the world stage when he brought James Hansen of NASA GISS before a Senate committee in 1988. Wirth knew, like Maurice Strong, he could do little as a politician, so he resigned from the Senate and got a job at the UN courtesy of Ted Turner, to push his political agenda.

At about the same, Christine Stewart, then Canadian Minister of the Environment said:

“No matter if the science of global warming is all phony… climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”

Kerry was right when he said that Congress would not support the agreement -- because Congress knows Kerry is lying when he says it will create jobs. They know because Kerry voted on such agreements before. The Climate Green Fund was simply a replacement for the Kyoto Protocol, and Senator Kerry was part of the 95-0 vote in 1997 against Kyoto.

In fact, being politicians, they did not want to do anything that could make them appear anti-environment. They created the Byrd/Hagel Resolution to prevent them having to vote directly on Kyoto. It said explicitly that the US Senate would not approve anything that harmed the US economy, a politically acceptable position.

Meanwhile, the march towards socialism and a welfare dependent developing world continues, as the damage of transferring wealth from the developed to the developing nations will keep them as dependencies. The money will go into the Swiss bank accounts of the leaders of those nations, and the corruption will continue.

The interesting point about the Paris Agreement is that the lies and deceptions required a cover up so apparent that exposure is occurring faster than usual.

Because the global warming deception is the largest in history, it stands to reason that the cover up has been exposed so quickly.  The nearly 200 world leaders who met in Paris demonstrated that politicians are the same regardless of political philosophy.

As Nikita Khrushchev said:

“Politicians are the same the world over. They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river.”

Except in Paris, they created a river to justify the bridge. They set up the IPCC to prove that the river (CO2) required a bridge (Kyoto and the Green Climate Fund) then used the people’s money to line their pockets and advance their political careers.

They took H. L. Mencken’s observation to a whole new level:

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."

A little foot note in history for all the true believers out there – on this day 7 years ago Al Gore predicted the polar caps would be gone in 5 years

Whats up with the lines through a persons post. Where does journalism do this to their megaphone style journalism supported and paid for by readers, who are the supporters of any such Gov’t or company or ad’s a paper might use to generate income to keep their paper online. Just curious who is the judge and jury?

I got a real kick out of some of the Journalists on the band wagon a few years back, when they said if the North Pole Ice melted there would be sea level rise. Fact is only land bound Ice can raise the sea level, ocean Ice like that in the north displaces its weight in water exactly so when it melts there is no sea level rise.
Fact, IF there is a Meter of melting going on in green land, on the 3KM’ thick Ice, it would take 3 thousand years to raise the sea levels 7 meters. And from what I can tell, there is a cycle where there is both melting and new snow fall in the north and any warming causes more snow fall so the Ice sheet increases.

Fact, before the industrial Age. Explorers made it through the north west passage and ship wrecked. We found one of those ships, proving that those waters where to some degree free of ice even back then.
Fact, the best way to determine the true temp of the world is to measure the temps around the planet 6ft. under. where it turns out that if you average the temperatures of every day in the year and divide by 365 you get the temp of the ground in your area 6 ft down. So, you can find that in my area the temps are 54 Deg. and farther north its lower, and in Florida its higher. I have not seen climate data based on factual data like this, instead they base it on temps from Airports that report higher temps due to build up of cities around them and from some recently deployed boeys in the oceans which regularly change each year. There is no way they have the science to give us reasonable data anyways.

Fact. Every electrical generation station from nuclear to coal depends on heating water to steam creating a obvious hot spot that would immediately stop if we could generate power from hydro dams and such, but coal or nuclear or natural gas, still has to make the same amount of boiling water to make hydro. Switching to electric cars is no solution unless you can create more Hydro electric and wind. and nuclear rather than natural gas generation.
Here in Ontario we switched to natural gas, using up the supply we have for our homes rather than going directly to nuclear. And we are wasting our money on solar that does not produce reliable Electricity.

I think its a great thing to have electric cars, and new sources of electricity, including coal that has filtered smoke stacks. And I think its great to reduce the amount of energy we use by putting more insulation into homes, and by Using LED bulbs for street lights etc. And I think its a natural normal thing to expect large electricity users to locate close to Nuclear plants so that there is less loss of power through transmission and less need for larger transmission lines, saving construction costs. I would even support a under water Hydro line from Niagara falls directly to Toronto to provide an alternative clean supply when the power is available.

Lots can be done without creating a scam called climate change, We all want to save, and use our energy efficiently, but we don’t want to create systems like solar panels in the north that are basically useless for everyone. And we don’t want a carbon credit stock market to be scamming the system, just simple regulations and Gov’t help with innovation.

1693. That’s the year the English Channel froze over.. Depending on which expert is talking, that’s the peak of our current ice age.. Ice age generally referring to ice at the polar caps..

Anyways the world is warming, which is a cycle that has occurred several times in our planets history. I probably hate the environment, (sarcasm). I’m not against curbing pollution at all, but this deal in France, is going to be bad for Canada … We should in fact get an envyiromental credit for having some the largest CO2 collection systems in the world … Uh our forests …

The world seems to forget this isn’t Europe.. You don’t hop on the train for 12kms to visit family.. I drive 1700 Kms round trip to see my son, and I never leave Alberta.. It’s unseasonably warm at the moment.. El ninyo, another cycle.. Anyways our furnaces should be running much more.. The ndp already raised taxes on heating our houses amongst other things, to save the world… Really? If Texas were a country, it would be the 6th worst polluter.. They wear masks and can’t see in Beijing , yet my taxes going up should fix that… My heating bill went up.. If Alberta collectively turns down the thermostat 1 degree we can all be colder and uh single handedly stop global warming.

Maybe we should pollute exponentially more, for a couple years then we can stop, and lead the way in polluting less.. Then when some foreign religious leader is paid by some other foreign entity to come here and chastise us, we can say we’re getting better..and hand out free masks.. Btw what was the carbon footprint for him to fly from South Africa to Edmonton. Then fly around a small area in NE Alberta to see fewer plants than are clustered in Texas.. He certainly wasn’t paid to fly to China..

It’s cool to trash Canada, and our most foolish citizens are eager to jump on that bandwagon. It’s cool.

He explains history better than I can..

John Morrison – they are destroying democracies, so that the UN can take over the world. They have sold their souls to the devil, and will make us pay with our lives.

Sad thing for us here in Canada is that T2 and his cronies will do everything in their power to meet the requirements of the COP 21 non-agreement by shutting down the economies of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC and Newfoundland by 2030. Why? Because its 2015 of course.
