"Perhaps it was naive" for the Liberals to pick Justin Trudeau as leader based solely on his name

Rebel Staff

On the Maclean's National Leaders Debate, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau said of his views on Harper's anti-terror legislation Bill C51: "Perhaps it was naive."

That's a fitting motto for Justin's entire political career!

Oh heck no, it was the best decision from the perspective of Harper and Mad Tom.

Peter – I too would love to see the SNN come back, but at least we have TheRebel to keep us informed. I would rather have given them all that money, it would have been better spent. I still can not believe that they were denied basic cable status. They did allow Al Jazeera though. I wonder how that happened.

Can you imagine what SNN cold do with a $Billion subsidy??

Deborah, you are absolutely right!
It’s time to defund the CBC and resurrect SunNewsNetwork!!!

The only reason Trudeau and May are still in standing, is due to the fairy tales produced by the MSM. If they were actual Journalists, instead of Fiction Spinners, both would already be officially sidelined.

Richard, you haven’t answered the question. What are Justin Trudeau and Elizabeth May’s credentials, exactly? What makes them qualified and fit to lead a great nation like Canada?
I am in the same riding in Edmonton-Centre, and even though I know Randy Boissonnault personally to be an intelligent, compassionate man with some good ideas, I will likely still vote Conservative. I simply can’t support Justin Trudeau, and I could never, ever support Elizabeth May.
But perhaps you know something about their so-called “credentials” that we don’t? Please, do share.

I like the ad. It sure covers a gamut of all the Trudeau gaffs since these boys have been covering him.
I find it truly amazing that JT has any support at all. Perhaps I watch/read too much News, I don’t think the future looks too rosy out there, and it’s their future

JASON WEAVER said Really? Do share what you believe those credentials to be.
That’s simple Jason, Ezra makes his “Do-Re-Mi” being the media and both Justin and Elizabeth make thier living as career politicians. Not just anyone can do what Ezra does and the same goes with most career politicians.

Justin would make a great Prime Minister as would May or Mulcair – Its up to you Jason now that it’s election time to study all the media (including Ezra’s The Rebel) and learn everything there is to know about each party, politician and where they stand on issues that are important to you so you can make a good wise decision when filling out your ballot this fall.

I figure it will be either a Trudeau/ Mulcair Minority Government with the Harper Government devastated like the last Kim Campbell Conservative Government.

I’m voting Green as a courtesy vote because Elizabeth May read my petition in the House of Commons when the NDP refused.

Richard Brinkman said: “Both Justin and Elizabeth have the credentials to lead and are more than capable running our country than a hundred Ezra Levant’s put together, under a new minority government…”

Really? Do share what you believe those credentials to be.

mehhh… this add didn’t do it for me. I don’t like it much when when people take snippets for attack adds, it might not be as effective but I prefer when I hear the full argument of a politician and then make my decision; in the case of Justin, just let him talk lol he digs his own grave every time haha

Brinkman – Are you in a riding where that sort of vote will make a difference?

Yes I believe a MINORITY government is possible Joan, since Edmonton / Centre Conservative the Honourable MP Laurie Hawn is now retiring. This YouTube I made is of Justin Trudeau filmed at a rally in the heart of Edmonton …

MP Laurie Hawn has long served his Edmonton/ Center constituents well but… Green Party David Parker and Liberal candidate Randy Boissonnault are both capable leaders who can easily fill Laurie’s shoes with an elected minority Government. Here’s Laurie Hawn when I questioned him on 9/11 & The Afghanistan War

That’s a pretty good ad. If it can be posted to various social media sites, it will be effective.

But what would that cost? Trudeau has ads all over social media now with attached petitions he asks people to sign and repost for him.

I think Canadians would have taken Marc Garneau more seriously than we are taking Trudeau but it would be foolish to count Trudeau out this far away from the election.

Whenever someone criticizes Trudeau for his fumble mouth, I remember Chretien’s often nonsensical patois. His words often made no sense but his confidence and charisma got him elected time and again. And there is no doubt that Trudeau is gaining confidence. Some might even call it reckless arrogance. Yet that often sells. Often if a politician makes a nonsensical proposition with the right amount of confidence, people who want to believe will believe despite all reason.

I wonder if Conservative polling shows Canadians prioritize security as our major campaign issue and if that is why he has just promised new anti-terrorist legislation. If so, that bodes well for a Conservative win, but regardless, it’s a risk given the huge backlash it is sure to attract.

One really has to wonder about the “leadership” of the Liberal Party in choosing Dion, and then Trudeau Jr as the Party figureheads. Particularly since the Reform, and then the Alliance, and finally the Conservatives all put forth publicly their party policy(ies) for the populace to consider. Like the Conservatives or hate them, you know exactly where you stand with them.

The Liberals STILL have not done this. One must question “why”…?

And then these same backroom manipulators wonder why we don’t fall for their shenanigans anymore…

As a long time NDP supporter, but no more ever since Edmonton/ Strathcona’s MP Linda Duncan’s discrimination against me for being the wrong sex and not being a Muslim.

I think the lessons I’ve learned over the years as a Canadian who loves my country, giving political parties a majority government becomes a determent for most Canadians and can only benefit Corporate Canada and big Unions. For the first time I will cast my vote for the hopes of a MINORITY GOVERNMENT to either the GREEN Elizabeth May or Liberal Justin Trudeau. Both Justin and Elizabeth have the credentials to lead and are more than capable running our country than a hundred Ezra Levant’s put together, under a new minority government…

As for Linda, here’s my personal story about the only NDP MP in Alberta Linda Duncan and the 900 reasons why I think we should not to re-elect her back into office.

I would call it stupid not just naive! Like the Liberal party he is devoid of any intellect. His dad was just as bad. I met him and he was booed out of the building during his speach to foreign students in London UK.

I think if more people knew about Pierre Trudeau through his own memoirs they wouldn’t be voting for him for his name sake either but it would explain where Justin might have arrived at his admiration for basic dictatorships.
commented 2015-08-10 12:50:30 -0400
Why? Justin Trudeau WILL be Prime Minister if he stays in politics. He may not win this go around, but he would have done better than anyone else fronting the Liberal party with their baggage. Justin Trudeau will have the last laugh.

“Perhaps it was naive” Indeed but what a blessing to the Conservatives.
Justin is a small bull in a china shop that brings his own china shop with him where ever he wanders.
He is walking, talking attack ad. JMO

The endless um’s and uh’s that troodo bumbles when he can’t formulate a thought comes from years of smoking pot – fries the brain. It’s funny to watch this idiot do his bumbling in front of the mic. Harper doesn’t seem to have this problem. I

It’s amazing how many truly stupid Canadians there are that are considering this half-wit troodo to run Canada’s $2TRILLION dollar economy.

How’s your wife troodo? You still in the same bedroom after your “posing with nude teens” pic? LMFAO!!!

He is the perfect sock puppet. A blank page, an empty vessel. He can be manipulated, and bought (Justy lusts for the power trip, doesn’t need the money) which makes him useful to the puppet masters, not so much to the rest of us. The power trip would be an easy ride with an earbud stuck in his ear telling him what he needs to say, he won’t have to do any homework think or even memorize.
