“River Whisperer” Suzuki apologizes to North Saskatchewan River?

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

David Suzuki went to Saskatchewan to scold Saskatchewan and no one cared, not even the North Saskatchewan River.

Suzuki was in Saskatoon for a literary festival and while he was there he insulted the very wise Saskatchewan voters for electing Premier Brad Wall.

Suzuki told a reporter for a local radio station, he’s shocked that Saskatchewan voters would elect a “climate denier” to lead their province. He accused Brad Wall of not taking climate change seriously.

Premier Wall earned the ire of St. Suzuki because he rejects the idea that carbon taxes are an effective way to tackle climate change.

But right after he scolded Brad Wall for not being serious enough, David Suzuki spoke to a river.

“I apologize to you, river, for our thoughtlessness...for polluting you, great river, we are truly sorry”

The river did not reply to Suzuki and did not respond to my repeated requests for comment but knowing how Suzuki operates, he probably billed the river for the speech.

David Suzuki is apologizing to a river, but Brad Wall is the unserious one?

River Whisperer David Suzuki is one of the main activists driving public policy and public sentiment around climate change. What could possibly go wrong?

Dan said, " … and all of them are going to have to pay a price for their BS!"

Unfortunately all the rest of us do too. That’s the annoying part. If their BS only affected them, then I would say to them, “go for it!”.

Suzuki is a nut bar…and Jay Kelly is a devil worshipper who takes it up the yin-yang from his pet goat named Baphomet…and his delusional ranting is very representative of all the other nut bars on the left, or wrong side of mankind…and all of them are going to have to pay a price for their BS!

he has been damaging Canada for years with his anti everything to do with natural resources and the CBC and the education system have enable him to spew his BS with impunity, when i told a couple of my liberal friends [ ex ] how much i despise him they couldn’t understand why and believe all the lies he has been allowed to get away with for the last 30 years or so .

Is Prince Albert back to using the North Sask for drinking water?
What’s happening off the west coast with Victoria’s raw sewage affect on ocean life?

Jay, anyone who doesn’t know the meaning of “incarnate” should not be lecturing anyone else on theology. Have you no shame? Typical lefty. Don’t know nuttin’ but I’m going to spew it any way and try to come across as profound by stringing words together and hope they mean something. Stop humiliating yourself already. Take the logic course for starters.

Eileen, since the mayor of Montreal is a socialist and hates the oil industry (except the money that comes from it) then in Suzuki’s minuscule mind Denis Coderre can do no wrong. They are all a bunch of greedy self serving hypocrite liars.

@ What Hyacinth said,

Hear, hear!

But we all know he won’t … hear.

Oh, where, Oh, where was the Dung Whisperer when the mayor of Montreal with the full approval of Environment Canada dumped millions of litres of human waste into the mighty St. Lawrence River? Oh, I know where he was! He was sitting as usual atop his dung heap, adding more dung to the pile of crap he constantly spews out!

You just proved you are a troll Jay Kelly!!! How many aliases do you have in total, both past and present, and not just on this site? Two of your previous aliases were banned because of the constant vulgarity you used. You have twisted the words of everyone one this site under several aliases since it started yet have the audacity to try to sound morally superior. Time and again you have proven what a vulgar sick little person you are.You really need to seek medical attention you troll. And in the future you really should not try to speak of morality because you have none.

Sadly, Profit Dave believes the hype about him. He needs more down-to-earth moments such as when he was torn apart by an audience at an Australian TV show. His final defence was that he is not a climatologist. Incredible! He goes around acting as if he is one unless he does not have an adoring, unquestioning following present.

What a vane, close mined old fool. He hasn’t even kept up with the current research in his own field. Perhaps he should retire to one of his four mansions, taking refuge so that he can court his millions. Maybe fly off to a country in Polynesia where ⅛ of the population is discriminated against by the majority – his sort or paradise.

Well past the time he put himself out to pasture, throwing dried bread at the birds in the park. not for the birds.

Jay, absolutely nothing you say makes any sense. I grew up as Catholic and remained so most of my life. The only reason I left the Catholic church was because there were a few Catholic doctrinal issues I had that just didn’t line up with the Bible, but I still have great respect Catholicism and consider Bible-loving Catholics as my brothers and sisters in Christ. So don’t tell me what Catholics believe. I know what they believe, but apparently you don’t. I had the utmost respect for Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict, but Pope Francis is destroying 2000 years of Catholic doctrine. St. Malachy, the Archbishop of Armagh, Ireland prophesied this falling away in while visiting Rome in 1139 AD. He said, in a vision, he saw every pope that would exist from the time of his vision until the last pope. The last pope genuine Catholic Pope would be the 112th from the time of his vision. That would be Pope Benedict. He said the 113th Pope would be elected by deceitful means and would be the false prophet to the anti-Christ. That 113th Pope is Pope Francis. Arch Bishop Fulton J. Sheena also predicted that the false prophet would come from among the Cardinals. I know Catholic history and doctrine, so don’t try to educate me on it. Instead, why don’t you educate yourself?

Hyacinth, remember how disrespectful you were to Jews not long ago, how you said you preferred to see the synagogue “baked”.

Yet you accuse another of being disrespectful.

Your own words will be held in the balance. Hope you are not found wanting.
commented 2016-09-22 00:32:31 -0400
You are very disrespectful Jay time and again, yet you have to nerve to speak of respect? Piece of advice friend – you will have to pay the fiddler for the tune you chose to dance to in your lifetime so chose which path you will walk carefully.

I think Maurice and Leviticus would agree with me that to quote scripture out of context is not a good idea. Canada has certainly benefitted by a fundamental Protestantism, but there is more to the story than that.

We are also Catholics and Orthodox and we take seriously the notion of “divinization” — that through the sacraments “we are made to be as God”, we are “called to be holy as your heavenly Father is holy”.

This rampant showing disrespect on The Rebel toward others is not fitting with most of Christianity, including the more conservative Evangelicals who draw most directly on the words of Christ.

Jay, have some skittles. It will calm you down.

Al Peterson and Peter Netterville reflect, honestly, a view of Christianity that is not uncommon. For many Protestants Jesus Christ is genuinely separate from the elements of creation. St. Paul even warned about those who believed in the “elements”.

The Church, though, is more open to the reality of a creation infused with the presence of God. It is not just Catholics and Orthodox who see it, but many evangelical conservative Christians.

To deny God’s presence in the water and air and rock seems rather sacrilegious.

Jay, you are so full of shite and you know it. Stop pretending that you are educated, you have proven time and again that you are anything but. Have you no self respect, no shame? Anything for a buck apparently.

Jay Kelly, you know nothing.

Christians believe in a living God that created all things and that evidence of God’s existence can be seen in the things he has created, but “God is present in the very river — the flowing water.” is pantheism, which is not what Christians believe.

Keep your woeful misunderstanding of Christianity to yourself before your embarrass yourself even further.
commented 2016-09-21 23:28:57 -0400
Jay, here is a theology lesson for free. “Incarnate” means in the flesh. So, as rivers have no flesh and no spirit, Christ, being person, could not be incarnate in them. I think you are confusing Hinduism or something for Christianity. You truly are a pagan Cankucklehead.
commented 2016-09-21 23:12:53 -0400
I suspect Saskatchewan voters would not ridicule someone for praying by the river. The Saskatchewan River gives life to the Prairie and if God is truly incarnate, as Christians profess, then God is present in the very river — the flowing water.

To mock people of faith seems low, even if the mockers are Rebel contributors.

Brad wall is loved by the people of Saskatchewan and he is not their leader he is their elected representative and represent them he does.
Long live Brad wall and his political career..
