“Sleazy” politics: Lobbyist’s $6,000/plate fundraiser gives “one-on-one” time with Wynne and Chiarelli

As if we needed more reasons to add to our ongoing petitions to fire Kathleen Wynne and Bob Chiarelli, but now they’ve given us another.

Liberals love to talk about the impact of big money in politics and how bad it is, but it’s incredible how often Liberals are at the centre of this kind of sleazy politics.

Case in point is the recent story of a $6,000 per plate fundraising dinner which promises “one-on-one” time with Premier Kathleen Wynne and Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli.

Even worse, the organizer of the event is an energy industry lobbyist.

Another reminder why you should sign our petitions to FIRE Wynne and FIRE Bob if you haven’t already.

And please remember to share.

Benedetti is a lobbyist for the renewable energy sector. $6000 a plate for a meet and greet for him is a bargain. I wonder if he was working with Smitherman on the original $7,000,000,000 with Samsung? I looked up the word sleaze in the dictionary and it filled 14 pages, all with pictures of these liberal criminals.

Sleazy Marxist Scum, nothing but Con Artists. Hang them from Hydro Poles, they will look better when the air has departed their Lungs. Bug eyed freaks.

Anyone who would pay $6K a head to lobby sleazy politicians is as corrupt as they are. Wish we had a list of the corporations and businesses in that room so we could boycott their reptilian operations.

I lay even money there were a lot of public sector union sleazers in that pork-fest

Yeah, itès called courting the donor clientele – touching up patronage clientsfor funds and organizing support in return for brokering political influence and capital contracts – this is how crony corporatism and influence peddling works Liberal networks have been at it the longest with the PCs a close second.

I would have trouble keeping that dinner down if these clowns were around me.

The liberals would have to pay me 6G’s (or more) to attend the dinner, but I think I’d tell them to pound sand anyways.

Sleazy politics? Please Brian, this is normal for leftist ‘progressives’! Unfortunately the sheeple put up with it.

Lefties can’t earn their own wealth, so they go into politics and get elected by making promises with other peoples money. They are then in a position to feast on the wealth of others along with the party faithful.

The Liberals both provincial and federal have been corrupt for many decades now. The NDP in Alberta tried doing the same thing recently. Corruption follows the left/socialists hand in hand.

Dear Diary;
After all the trouble I’ve gone to, to make sure that Indian chiefs won’t be required to show how much money they’re pocketing, the Tsuut’ina First Nation gave me a headdress? That’s it? Really? Once again you guys can get to stash hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of dollars away for yourselves and you give me a hat? Oh well, at least that’s about on par with the Blood Tribe giving one to Stevie back in 2011. What’s that? Stevie got one with eagle feathers? Does mine have eagle feathers? Does anyone know?
Let’s get back to important issues. It seems like an eternity since any of my people have craved some selfies with me, so yesterday I dropped by Toronto Zoo (no, not City Hall, the actual zoo) to honour a couple of new Canadian citizens with pics that feature me with them. Although it was Stevie who brought mommy and daddy here for coitus I’m claiming that, on my watch, both these guys are natural born Canadians, so all you pesky rebels can cut out your whining about how it’s only refugees who clamour for a pic with me. Check it out, all three of us are cuddly, but can you tell which one is me?

I loved that the report said that I “melted hearts” (sigh) after all, isn’t that what I do best?
