Nearly 500 names added to Alberta “Sunshine List” last year alone

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

The Alberta NDP and the previous Progressive Conservative government have had a real problem with public sector spending.

Public sector growth has outpaced Alberta’s private sector growth and national public sector growth for years but now it’s worse. PCs were bad for growing public sector jobs and spending, but the NDP top them.

Growth skyrocketed after the NDP won their majority. The unemployment rate in Edmonton stayed lower than the rest of Alberta as a result of increased public sector hiring.

This affected EI extensions in areas where many oilfield workers live, leaving them to get by without benefits.

Now the Sunshine List, an annual record of public sector employees’ salaries, was released.

The list has a cut off of $125,000 and in 2015 alone, close to 500 names were added resulting in millions more taxpayer dollars going into our already bloated system.

Watch my report to find out where the highest spending is and to see the shocking salaries paid to CEOs in the public sector.

More financial raping of Alberta’s taxpayers.

The Alberta success story – get a government job and financially rape taxpayers with the new found power.

So much for leftists caring about the struggling working class.

Peter, yes heaven forbid a pro-lifer. Could have been a double whammy and we’d really be in trouble.

Yes, Elton, that would have been a disaster.

And actually having one of those in power who supports not murdering babies! Oh, the horror! (I match your sarcasm and raise you one)

Oh but never forget how much worse off we would be if we had voted in the WR party. We could have ended up having one of those horrible Christians in government who believes in the traditional definition of marriage.

Canadian Mongrel said, “I am related to two front line health care workers, who checked to see how close they were to the sunshine people”

I am related to one of the front line health care workers as well, a nurse. She makes a good wage as I think she should tough I don’t thin she quite makes the sunshine list.

It is not the front line employees that I have a concern with being on the sunshine list (should they make it to that list), but the administration and especially the middle management health care workers.

The front line employees deserve that pay.

When the knothole gang is gone , our new government will have to change the sun shine list to the , where the sun doesn’t shine list .
That’s what RALPH did

The NDP don’t know how to run anything, they only know how to spend, raise taxes & bankrupt everything they put their grubby little hands on. They are really pathetic & there is not one example that can be pointed to showing success on anything they were involved in, so why some people continue voting for them sometimes successfully baffles me. It seems like these people cannot foresee anything until they have lived it & suffered through it & then perhaps they will come to their senses, but only after the damage is done.

Why do the people suffer and live under oppression the most when the so called governments of the people are in power? I always get a kick out of them when they point to countries like Germany as examples of socialist heavens, yet they never acknowledge that Germany is not that socialist and for example ,we have around 5 management level positions in our health care system compared to around 1 management level position for the German health care system. And yet left wingers say i lie when i tell them socialism and communism have elites just like capitalism, the only difference is capitalism is by choice and anyone can make it big, under socialism only certain people and groups have a chance at making it big and it is forced on us.

Oh such a surprise! Now can any of the NDP supporters tell me why services are slower and less efficient? I mean we must be rewarding these people due to hard work and dedication to the people of Alberta after all, why else would they get money shoved into their pockets? Oh right, actual merit has nothing to do with socialist cronyism. I wonder if these people have ever heard the old saying , too many chiefs not enough indians.

Everyone on this list should see a 30% rollback and if they can’t live on that get them a one way ticket to Brussels.

First: I do give credit to Redford for this list, only thing I do credit her for. It must just have the ultimate queen bee, Notley, spinning.

Second: I am related to two front line health care workers, who checked to see how close they were to the sunshine people…guess how close the front line is. Sort of like the privates to the generals in WW I.

Oops, have to take the time to edit before posting:
Holly is just exposing what invariably happens when one elects a socialist NDP government! Not shocked by this anticipated behaviour and expect more of the same to come. The greater problem is that enough clued-out people actually voted to elect them.

Karen & Doug Geil said, “at least they won’t be getting a bunch of tax dollars from me to pay for these political cronies for the foreseeable future.”

Unfortunately they will when Notley gets the carbon tax implemented because it is a consumption tax that affects everyone and every product.

This sewage garbage ndpees are so vile, I can’t believe they still have at least 20% support in Calgary. Aren’t these people hurting enough? In red deadmonton, with the parasite teacher’s, bloated civil servants, nurses, politicians, it’s no surprise, this wicked witch has still a huge support.

Just the promised payoff to their socialist union buddies for their assistance and lobbying in getting the NDP elected.
commented 2016-07-09 16:57:45 -0400
The N.D.P. are run by unions and are always at tax payers trough, Alberta is in the shitter just like all places that are run by socialist pigs.

Notley buying public sector votes by throwing money at them is exactly what I predicted they would do when they won the election in May.

It is a standard tactic of socialists to increase the public sector size and wages in order to buy the public sector votes. Wynne did (and still does) it. Notley is doing the same. But it doesn’t matter. The bitch is out on her fat ass this next election one way or another.

When it comes to spending the publics money, the Socialist’s have always been the winners. Nothing more than organized crime by the ndp bandits.
