Alberta NDP's "hack" candidate for Prentice's riding adds insult to injury

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

In a bizarre move, former Alberta Premier Jim Prentice abandoned his own riding of Calgary-Foothills on election night.

It's bad enough that taxpayers have to foot the bill for the upcoming by-election.

But what's worse is the Alberta NDP's response.

This by-election gave the NDP a chance to reach out to Calgary and the oil patch, and broaden the government's shallow pool of talent. But they didn't take it.

Instead of selecting someone who'd worked in the oil patch, or maybe even run a business, their candidate is life-long party "hack" Bob Hawkesworth.

The Alberta NDP has hired violent criminal Brent Dancey to run an important ministry.
SIGN OUR PETITION to fire Dancey.

Peter – the antidote to this world is faith, or at least that is what I was taught to believe, and have come to believe!

Prince Knight – the truth, it has been proven, can certainly be stranger than fiction!

Deborah said, “as they are meant to.”

That, too, worries me, though I know it should not.

Sorry, that was unclear. The defection was in the 80s, but the book was in the 90s.

Deborah — I’m reminded of a book of a Soviet pilot defector, back in the 90s. In the Soviet Union back then, everybody knew that the national newspaper Pravda (Russian for “truth”) was nothing but a propaganda rag. Very few paid any serious attention to it, much like we treat the MSM today. The Russians also had in-jokes, like arguing about various articles in the newspaper Pravda: “I know you read it on page 4 of Pravda, but is it truth?”

Peter – the MSM needs to be challenged more often, but we won’t see that happen. I’m beginning to think that people like being lied to, and misled! What I do now, is just turn off the radio, and TV more often, because some things will just unfold, as they are meant to.

Deborah, therein lays the problem, the narrative (and in my opinion a narrative of deception) woven by the MSM is pervasive mostly because the general population as a whole does not seek any other news sources than the MSM.

The MSM depicts a narrative that plays on the emotions of the people (e.g. portraying Harper as the spawn of the devil), and most people vote on their emotion.

The bleak part is that there seems to be no way to break this grip the MSM has on the people, and/or to get the MSM to be the honest and responsible reporters that they should be and report both sides of the political spectrum equally and without bias.

Peter – bleak, but not hopeless, as long as the word gets out, and people use their heads when they are voting. The public, is not being provided with the facts, so that they can make informed decisions, so are easily fooled by the MSM narrative. People remain complacent at their own peril, or should I say at our peril.

If the ndp take power in Ottawa, the western separatist party will start up again ( only this time on steroids) and at the same time over throw the notley crew in an actual coup , could get violent.

Seven eight years ago, I would have said, and did, that this agenda 21 talk was a lot of hooey. It is unfolding before our very eyes and is very real.
commented 2015-08-08 10:03:06 -0400
Deborah, even though you paint a dark picture, I think you are right. There is a push in Western society towards a communist society, and the UN is slobbering all over themselves at the prospect of controlling it.
commented 2015-08-08 08:53:42 -0400
Charles – it’s an agenda, the UN Agenda 21, that they want to impose on the world. They don’t want us to prosper, as individuals, or as a free society. They want us to work for the state, and force society to be at the same level in all areas of life. They need to destroy our freedoms and modern democratic systems, so that they can control the population. Rachel is following her ingrained ideology, and is being led by Tom and her union husband. If Harper doesn’t win a majority federally, it will be much worse in AB, and Canada.

I don’t think Bob will win. I think it will be WR all the way!

Hello All,

As for the protest vote in Alberta, (oh by the way you NDP assholes that voted for them) sorry, just getting upset again, no I meant to say you smart ones that voted for them… Thanks… I can’t wait until you losers that voted for the NDP, watch your love ones around you claim bankruptcy, or even commit suicide… Then I bet you will never vote for them again.

I am still working in the oil industry, but I don’t know for how much longer… Oh by the way! I don’t know if I thanked all those people that voted for the NDP… THANKS….

On a serious note; I honestly, and I mean honestly, don’t understand how these NDP freaks can destroy the very thing they have created their homes in and raised a family in. I’m not talking about the chiefs of staff that have been hired from other provinces… I am talking about the actual MP’s that were voted in… Isn’t there at least one person / MP that even has a half functional brain? They honestly can’t see this… I really can not believe, they can not see what they are doing… To not just Alberta, but to the whole country….
Seriously can anyone give me a real and truthful answer?
If you think the “green house gases” is the issue… Then you are living in a fairy land… We could all go back to living in caves and riding horses and hunting and making our own clothes… But do you actually believe our 35 million people, that live in the second largest country in land mass will effect green house gases.. Like I said we could all start walking and cut out all the technologize… That would be all for nothing… When Russia and China and the developing third world nations couldn’t give a flying fuck… Wake up! You people… Why destroy our country just to make every other country stronger…

Hawkesworth is just another idiot with the idea that taxpayers are walking ATMs. He’ll fit in well with the Nutley crew but I’m sure the Wildrose will be putting up a major effort to prevent that from ever happening.

I got to quit trying to type without my glasses on but you get the jist (:

Wild rose and the conservatives barely have a candidate to run against the nap. To me that’s some unorganized bullshit. Now they are piss at notly for calling this bye election to soon. Wake up you knuckle heads!!!!!!!

For anyone interested. Last week I received by mail what I call a lefty clock. It uses power (mine, battery) but has lost almost an hour in real time. It is pretty to be sure, but completely impracticial. Kind of like what Socialists in this country represent!
commented 2015-08-07 21:34:25 -0400
Isn’t the National NDP full if these kind of quality candidates?
commented 2015-08-07 21:01:06 -0400
Vlad, yes.
This is an opportunity, I hope it isn’t wasted.

Well Ezra, you bring up some very good points.

Time to start the campaign for the Sep 3 by-election – and defeat the ndp.

What a strong message this would send to notley – after her magical ride to victory a few weeks prior.
commented 2015-08-07 20:32:59 -0400
This is where Wildrose needs to step in to make a statement! Are they motivated and capable enough to do so?
commented 2015-08-07 20:31:40 -0400
It appears Notley is trying hard to break a record on how fast she can take down the province. She will only get 4 years, but the damage she will do in those 4 years …
commented 2015-08-07 19:51:41 -0400
Well said Ezra, the buffoonery just keeps going on. This Hawsbury guy looks like a “winner” to me. Does Notley not have a brain???
commented 2015-08-07 19:49:25 -0400
Fast work Notely, you get stars for fast tracking the demise of Alberta. The sooner it implodes, hits bottom, the sooner the dust can settle. Then Albertans can start rebuilding their province. Alberta will rise from the ashes. It is hard to watch, and will get worse before it gets better, so the faster she implements all her thought out manoeuvres to bring Alberta to her knees, the better. There is no mitigating this. Notely is going to have to keep her passport current, because she is going to have to leave the country, it is just a matter of when.

Hmmm…… guess they’ve already used all the drudge from the bottom of the barrel. Now they have to start chipping from the outside!
