Albertans Against the NDP's Grande Prairie rally: Giving back -- and speaking out

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

This weekend, my good friend and fellow Rebel, Holly Nicholas and I went on a little road trip with the Albertans Against the NDP to beautiful Grande Prairie, Alberta.

This time the Albertans Against the NDP decided to feed more than just the rally goers. They asked for donations to the food bank by those of us in attendance. They filled a pick up truck box with food donations.

It was a chilly day, with even a little snow, but still a few hundred people braved the cold to come down and send a message to a government they don’t feel is listening to them.

Thanks again to Lorne Murfitt, Julie Franz and John Satink and all the organizers for having us out. And a special thanks to my friend Justin Tidd of Savage Oilfield for sharing his warm shop with all of us.

Stay tuned: Details about future rallies will be posted here at The Rebel.

Ya but she’ll have a huge severance and pension for life

Kevin, she’ll have to leave the country after her four year rampage.
commented 2015-10-09 11:32:38 -0400
Notley knows she is a one-term Premier and just doesn’t care. She is going to try and demolish the oil sands industry and the oil industry at large in Alberta before she gets booted out. I predict the next election, the Wild Rose will win the biggest landslide in Alberta’s history!

I just use my name so one of you guys will hire me if you get my resume

Kelvin — the ONLY reason I favor anonymity is that it allows me to work unseen, behind the scenes. That is NOT to say that your way is not correct. We each have our methods, and each method serves its purpose.

Last night I attended the Alberta Royalty Review in Edmonton and by sheer luck I met The Rebel’s newest reporter SHEILA GUNN REID who was on the job covering the event of the four-person panel, led by ATB Financial President and CEO Dave Mowat while on their final stop of a four community engagement sessions to gather input for potential changes to Alberta’s energy royalty framework. You can still add your input on the future of AB royalties at https://letstalkroyalties.ca/

I too was on the job as a citizen news reporter and was one of several people who asked Dave Mowat to respond to “Albertans Against the NDP” and thier concerns of future royalty increases that may cause Albertans to lose more jobs.

I already published a 1 minute YouTube of Dave Mowat’s response with-in hours that can be found on my YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/hawkeyicockburn – While visiting my YouTube Channel please subscribe for future free news sharing stories…

I’m presently uploading a a longer 8 minute more in-depth YouTube that will include excerpts from the September 13 Alberta Legislature rally by Albertans against the NDP and excerpts from Ezra Levant’s emergency town hall meetings recorded last June in Edmonton.

That YouTube will be posted here this morning http://www.ciactivist.org/CitizenFreeNews.html

10-4. It just hurts to know that there are people out there in Canada that feel that anonymity is the answer. I don’t want to hide in the shadows, and I don’t mean you in particular Prince, and please don’t take this as any slight to you. But it’s been mentioned on this site several times, mostly by left leaning posters, that you shouldn’t say this or that because you never know who’s listening.
I once fought for this country as a free man, I walk and move around it as a free man I will always speak as a free man and I will most certainly die as a free man. No government on this earth will ever take that away from me.

Kelvin said, “I want these assholes to know who they are (expletive ) with!!!!!!!!”

3 years, 8 months of dealing with these “assholes”. Counting the seconds until the next election. I have a boot with Notley’s name on it. :)

I have to say Prince that the day I wish to stay anonymous to anyone especially tyrants that is the day that they will shovel dirt on my corpse. I want these assholes to know who they are (expletive ) with!!!!!!!!

Drop by Patchmap. I’ll be there.

Good idea Vlad, but can you then call the wee mla’s piglets? The Notly crew and her piglets?
commented 2015-10-07 10:36:02 -0400
We’d have to arrange some form of communication so that the people who we don’t know personally here don’t get information we don’t want given out… might be tricky… (unlike Facebook, there’s no personal messaging apparatus here)

(Mock horror) And give up my anonymity????

PK, we should have lunch some time.

Price Knight, are you in GP?
commented 2015-10-07 01:11:02 -0400
The way to take down the Alberta nd-pigs is to draw out their college student MPPs (or is it MLAs).

These “junior ND=pig MPPs” are the exposure points of PIG NOTLEY. The key is to get enough of them, so this will take time. The need is to roll about 20 " “junior ND=pig MPs” and they have to be taken down all at once or thereabouts.

Or the other approach is to take down Brian Topp – a Toronto/Montreal lawyer and PIG NOTLEY’s chief of staff. Not an easy task, but none of these guys are squeaky clean.

Should commence shortly after October 19.

My bad… obviously I’m not paying particular attention to the “ads” (what I term the non-news articles on here). Ah, well.

Regardless, I likely wouldn’t have been anywhere near where Sheila was when she was in GP — I’d likely have been working, driving all over the city and doing what I’m trained to do. I think I’m more irritated that I didn’t know what was going on, then by missing it… again, my bad.

And thanks for the compliment, Peter Babich! I even enjoyed how you worded it!

Watching Global Warming Zealots, Mulcair, Trudeau, Notley and other wig nuts makes me want to punch myself in the face or extricate myself from their audible and visible presence … hence why I do no go watch lefty propaganda like CBC, CTV, CNN, Global or the Globe and Mail. Thank The Rebel for producing something my palate prefers. :-)

“I wonder how many “Albertans Against the NDP” voted for thd the NDP.”

If they did, I am certain they regret it now.

Dammit Prince. If you didn’t spend your time reducing trolls (which I appreciate by the way) you would have known you could participate.

Gee, I even said some nice things about Richard Doug Brinkman (His Full Name off his website) and he flagged me.

Sweet, thanks for the support. I just passed a career milestone. I’ve never been without income for this long in my profession. Hope Sheila will inspire enough. Keep it up. We’re obviously with you. Can’t wait for my chance to join the entourage. We need a plan and the rebel seems to have one

Yvette, watch again, the first interviewer sounds pretty anti- NDP to me. On her jacket is a sticker with NDP inside a circle , with line through it, as in ‘no’ NDP.

When the federal election comes on Oct 19 I hope the people that are thinking about voting the NDP turn to The Rebel and digest what they are doing to Alberta and Albertan’s. Honest hard working folks getting screwed by the very government that swore to protect them. Socialists destroy economies and have throughout history, are the socialists so blinded by others people’s money that they do not see the destruction it causes families and the economy, the NDP in Alberta should be charged for treason.
commented 2015-10-06 21:24:05 -0400
Sheila……the first Lady you interviewed was totally NDP, so why did she have those same initials on her jacket sleeve?
commented 2015-10-06 21:22:12 -0400
Here you are again Brinkman, doing what you do best, ‘hounding’ Sheila’s threads with your spam. I hope you flagged me too Brinkman, if not feel free to.

My apologies to everyone else.

Sheila this is good work. I really appreciate hearing what other Albertan’s are going through. I believe it gets around, and someone from Notely’s snake pit of advisors is watching, you can be sure. The more noise the better, keep up the pressure.
You’re a great addition to the Rebel.

@alan Sutton – I would let NDP voters in, only if they brought food for the food bank, but would ask an additional question :
Which tree do you like the most?
Then tie them to that tree until they ask to leave.
Pretty sure they would get the hint when they noticed their comrades tied to trees and would not continue show up in swarms.
Please Note that this post is supposed to be for comic relief only and is not something that is prescribed.
Do not try this at home.
This post does not represent ; The Rebel Media, Sheila Gunn Reid or the opinion of others on this site … or my own for that matter.
If you think this is a good idea : It is not, please ask a grown up where to get help. ;-)
