Another Liberal nomination, another Trudeau lie

Marissa SemkiwRebel Commentator

Justin Trudeau made a pledge when he was just a candidate for the Liberal Party leadership, to hold open nominations in all 338 ridings.

Trudeau didn’t have to make this open nomination pledge. I suspect most Canadians don’t care if a leader meddles in a nomination race. But that’s beside the point now. Trudeau made this pledge.

In fact, he went out of his way to be clear that he wanted complete open nominations.  It’s written in bold on his website.

But has he lived up to his promise? By my read, there have been at least 13 "open nomination" races with preselected winners.

If Justin Trudeau is willing to lie about this, what else is he willing to lie about?

Peter, PET hated English Canada and decided the best way to destroy us was by immigration and getting the people he wanted to destroy to agree with him. Obama is using the same model in the US. And it is working.

Ron,PET sent this country into a downward spiral. He was corrupt as the day is long. I can’t believe people actually forget his misdeeds. Quebec is distinct. Canada is multicultural. PETRO (Pierre Elliott Trudeau Rips Off ) Canada. The list is too long. I thought Zombies were only on TV. You think Justin has a clue or gives a shit about Canada? Just himself and his hair

Deborah when you say it is in there genes referring to Liberals I could not agree with you more. PET was the epitome of your characterization. He treated Canada as his fiefdom and the youngster would do the same.

Thanks Judy for your question. I am meaning both parties and leaders. The leaders are responsible for the actions of their party. When the late Mr. Flaherty was Finance Minister he went back on his word and changed the way income trusts were treated for tax purposes. Also the bombing of Libya to oust the dictator there was done secretly. Notwithstanding what I have just said the other two leaders are ten times worse.

If anyone expects the truth from a Liberal, then they are expecting the impossible. It is in their genes to, lie, distort, blame, project and twist anything that anyone normal has to say. Everything I have learned about narcissists, can applied to a Liberal. It is truly uncanny!

Ron…are you talking about PARTIES or leaders? Hard to judge a political party’s honesty or integrity…but if you really examine the facts over the last 8 years you would be hard put to find Harper lacking in any of your qualities…I believe he has stood very close to his promises from the beginning…to create more freedom through LESS GOVERNMENT…he has faithfully decreased the size of the EXPENSIVE civil service, often by attrition…I have seen little evidence that he is not a man of honesty, integrity and a man who has kept his word. He has shown remarkable respect for others as well…while expecting a certain amount of carefulness in his cabinet ministers (re loose lips). Most of what you hear from the opposition has no bearing on reality…i.e. dictator…hardly possible in an elected house with secret ballots…look to the unions for dictatorship…

This is just another example of lame brained Liberals looking after their Buddy’s. What do you expect from someone who has an IQ equal to that of an average room temperature.

Joan about Canadian values. I think I can answer this quite well as I was a Canadian who lived overseas so I know how Canadians were perceived by others;-
1. Honest
2. Word is their bond
3. Respect for others
4. Integrity
None of the parties display any of thiose traits.

Jerry said, “Justin is simply carrying on a Liberal tradition going back years.”

And he should be able to do that, except that he said he wouldn’t and now has made himself out to be a liar and a hypocrite. The “golden” boy should have kept his mouth shut when he declared in no uncertain terms that he would have open nominations. So when he said that, I wonder if he was repeating what his puppet master told him to say, or was the puppet acting on his own?

Nothing new here folks: the Liberals have always picked favourite candidates to run in Federal ridings. Justin is simply carrying on a Liberal tradition going back years. You gotta tell a few lies to maintain a veneer of democratic nominations.

Ron Zager – what are the Canadian values you say none of the three parties believe in?
commented 2015-06-03 00:13:51 -0400
Peter that thought is quite depressing.
commented 2015-06-02 23:43:17 -0400
Well, since that is not likely to happen before the next election, what choice do we have but to choose one of the three parties?
commented 2015-06-02 23:35:26 -0400
Peter it is the United Kingdom Independence Party. They got 13% of the vote last month but only one seat. 13% is a significant number. They want the UK out of the EU and a brake on immigration. Back to some old British values they want and an end to political correctness.

Ron, I’m sorry, I do not know what UKIP is. Could you explain it to me?
commented 2015-06-02 21:14:26 -0400
Peter I was thinking of proportional representation so if a new party is formed something along the lines of the UKIP they would get some seats right our the gate. None of the three parties believe in Canadian values. We need something new.

Ron Zager said, “Peter I think all three of them are no good. We need a big shake up.”

To what type of “shake up” are you referring?
commented 2015-06-02 20:49:00 -0400
What else is he willing to lie about? Anything and Everything!!!
commented 2015-06-02 20:35:29 -0400
And, what Trudope is probably truly afraid of, other than losing his (Gerald Butt’s) grip on the Liberal Party, is some of these denied candidates may actually petition the Party to return to what it used to be before PET!
commented 2015-06-02 20:31:46 -0400
No surprise about Bill Casey. He hates Harper. That’s the only criteria needed to be a liberal mp, apparently.

Socialist Lieberals lie. Justin is a wannabe dictator like his father. Anyone, Anyone, surprised by this?
commented 2015-06-02 20:06:33 -0400
Oh stop!!!! In my opinion, he’s so “feminine” looking!!! I’m tired of seeing him in the news!

Just another natural born Liar like his counter part Obama in America I guess!

Vlad – I sure hope you are right about stupid Canadian voters, but the more I talk with my son, and those in his age group, I am gobsmacked at what I am hearing. It appears that all the leftist brainwashing of our children, has had an effect. I, along with many of my fellow Albertans are still in shock over the results of the recent NDP majority here. I truly never thought I would see that day! I think these younger generations are headed for a very good lesson, on why you never vote for socialists. I’m hoping that Harper wins federally, or we in Canada are doomed to a much lower standard of living, and our safety as a nation will be weakened.
commented 2015-06-02 19:22:06 -0400
Justin, the lying airhead puppet has, unfortunately, a very good chance of becoming PM. The very thought of that makes me ill.

Like I have said before, if PM Harper does not become PM again in October, I would rather Thomas become PM than Justin, even though having the NDP in the PMO would spell a death sentence for Canada’s economy . . . and the military . . . and foreign relations . . . but the unions would do real good and social programs would get a big boost!
commented 2015-06-02 19:08:57 -0400
you just need 50% of the voting populace to go with who’s hair looks the nicest when they enter the booth, and trust another 15% just follow their traditional vote and your in…
PS Marissa, my wife thought you also had a beautful colo arrangement…of course your hair too

troodo just defecates out his mouth with no regard of whether it is an honest statement or not. this man-child is so detached from reality that it is comical to watch.
so nothing is new here – troodo is just another liberal/communist/marxist/socialist pig.

the real question is, are there enough stupid Canadians to vote for this foul pig troodo? my guess is no.

and for all the liberal/communist/marxist/socialist pigs in Alberta and the rest of Canada, the NDP won a split vote election (conservative split PC with Wild Rose) taking about 30% of the total vote. the NDP should be mindful not to piss of Albertans too much with their crap.
