Yahoo President and CEO Marissa Mayer is being accused of purging the company of male employees, and this isn’t her first controversy either after recent revelations of massive security breeches on her watch have surfaced.
Former employee Scott Ard filed a lawsuit against Mayer claiming he was fired due to a performance rating system that accommodates subjective biases and personal opinions that result in strikes against male employees.
According to the lawsuit, former editor-in-chief Kathy Savitt is accused of discriminating based on gender, publicly supporting increasing the number of women in media and hiring and promoting females while firing males. The accusations stem from statistics pointing to females skyrocketing from 20% of top management positions to 87% under Savitt’s direction.
Ard says before Savitt was in a management position, his performance reviews were fully satisfactory. But in 2014 he was told his job would be given to a recently hired woman, then in January 2015 he was fired when his boss claimed his performance was unsatisfactory and that he failed to provide a requested breakdown of his duties.
Sexism toward men in the workplace isn’t an entirely new thing, but we never think of women as sexist because historically, that finger has always been pointed toward men.
But this is real sexism.
Feminists don’t want equality. They want to destroy men and see them suffer now that women are becoming privileged.
