Bashar al-Assad: "If you want truth, you have to look for alternative media"

Victor LaszloRebel Commentator

In this casual interview in France, after the Syrian president had met with French officials, Assad gives his usual calm explanation for events in his country. But the interesting bit is the last two minutes where he speaks about the media and Donald Trump that make this really worth watching.

Liz, the US sells the Saudis fighter jets making it one of the biggest air forces in the world. I have to ask WTF do the Saudis need with those jets?

Jack Pallance—“you know something is wrong in the world when Assad has more creditability than the Washington Post or NBC.”
I laughed at your post because it is so correct, and most world experts and MSM don’t know that it is correct.

I never understood it Jack. What about the armoured combat vehicles Canada is building and selling to Saudi Arabia? That seems pretty nuts to me as well. I can’t wrap my head around our relationship with the Saudis. I guess we are a allies because if we weren’t we’d be enemies.

Liz, Reagan even played it very bad. The price for Iran to release a tiny amount of hostages was billions of dollars in arms sales to the new Islamist state. WTF was he thinking?

David Ross, Assad has his bumps, but what you said is 100% correct. We should be helping Assad take out Obama’s friends in ISIS. He has protected the Christians which Obama refuses to do.

He is brutal with terrorists. When they tried to kill him the first time, he leveled the prison where they were held. The second time he leveled the town they came from.

Outstanding!

Just sent her an email.

Thanks for this – I did not even know she existed – she simply backs up my own sources.

Cheers

So, the so called moderate rebels backed by the U.S. and allies, are actually ISIS. America has trained and armed people ‘they know nothing about’ as Trump tells us. Which is actually giving too much credit to the Dem.s. Bottom line, they have been arming and training ISIS to go after Assad. I have read that most Syrians voted for Assad and back him. The mainstream media tells us Syrians are afraid to ever return to Syria because they are afraid of Assad. The Dem’s have told us that it is our responsibility to save the Syrian people from this bad bad man. I don’t believe them any more.

As I become aware of more and more information, that access to the web allows, I become more amazed and worried. Finding out that we have actually been the bad guys is rather disturbing. It looks like we made big mistakes taking out leaders who were actually stabilizing forces in the ME. Thank God the democrats are out in time to save maybe the biggest mistake yet. Can you imagine if Hillary had managed a no fly zone? We’d be at full on war with Russia which would mean full on world war. We have so dodged ‘a bullet’ having Trump in and the establishment out. Even the old guard Republicans (look at McCain) care more about giving the finger to Putin than keeping some peace. McCain is a wild card with a chip on his shoulder regarding Putin (do your own research) and that makes him potentially dangerous, or it would have, had the Donald not got in.

Assad seems to be the least of all evils.

Bravo Zulu – you listed all the reasons that Obama and friends wanted to be rid of Assad. He was operating his country to benefit his people, and the evil ones don’t want that. Turkey and Obama want a Muslim Brotherhood leader there, and with the anti-Christ, Erdogan, believing that he is god, he is going to destroy old Damascus, and then he will go after Israel. The middle east is in turmoil, just like Obama and Killary planned it. I’m pulling for Assad!

Some things about Assad that the media and the western politician will never tell you.

I lived in Syria for a few years as a military advisor to the UN. (A corrupt organization if there ever was) I am retired now and have a bit more freedom to speak. I have met Assad as a minor player (briefcase carrier) for a General.

So…………

Assad was educated in the UK and became an ophthalmologist in the UK
He married an English gal.
He speaks excellent English.
He had planned to live out his life in the UK.

His father was a dictator in Syria – when he died Assad’s brother took over – soon after, he was killed in a car accident.

So, the various state rulers in Syria got together and asked Assad to come back and run the country. He did it – but not because he wanted to – because he felt an obligation to the country.

He instituted some changes:

He made education mandatory for all – including females – and provided school uniforms to all students.

He updated the medical and dental capabilities of the country.

He built roads.

He created a tourist trade – I was always running into tourists – all over the country.

He created a grid and the electricity flowed – to everyone – often for free in the outlying areas.

He developed the oil and gas business – Canada’s Petro Canada was a main player when I was there.

He protected Christians with legislation and if necessary, with force. I have a picture somewhere of him drinking tea in a church with a Christian group – all are smiling.

He allowed freedom of travel – get a passport and go see the world.

He had a large export trade in specialty rock – they were considered the finest granite(?) and would be turned in to tiles and counter tops and such.

He is an Alawite – not a Shiite or Sunni.

He is educated in the ways of the world.

He is fighting a war where the west backed his enemy. That enemy told me directly and to my face in Daraa that Assad was too liberal and needed to be over thrown.

Western backed rebels played a huge hand in killing off the Christians. The very same Christians that were essentially refused refugee status and were prohibited from entering Canada by the present Prime Minister – Trudeau. Yeah – many of you readers sent your tax dollars to kill off the Christians thanks to your leadership.

He was also a hard guy and used his secret police – the Mahabharata to control the dissidents. And do not kid yourself, he played hardball and he played for keeps. He needed to.

He was one of the three main peace keeping rulers in the mid east and the west took the other two out with a bang.

He is still strongly backed by a large portion of the Syrian population – otherwise he could not have lasted for even a week. He fought a long time before Putin came to his aid.

War is dirty and he has been accused of using chemicals. I happen to know the people that the UN sent to do this investigation early in the war. He was found to not be using them. The UN was not happy that this was the case. That accusation of him using chemical weapons is pretty much gone away – only the media use it once in a while – but the UN is now silent on this.

Assad gets a lot of accusations of brutality – and as with any war I am certain some of his people deserve that blame.

But – we now know the real bad guys were the western backed rebels and isis.

Anyways – enough for now – all you really need to know is the media and the UN and many western politicians have been lying through their teeth about the whole thing.

More and more I begin to respect Putin – the man I was told for many years was my enemy. He is not tall in stature but he is head and shoulders over pretty much all the western leaders in my opinion.

I look forward to Putin and Trump actually working together. And personally I think they will.

Out of this one.

Bashar Assad is absolutely correct. Here are the facts;
- Bashar never poisoned his own people. Rebels armed by Obama did.
- Assad is actually a Western Friendly leader who believes in freedom of religion and allowing Western culture in Syria.
- Obama’s goal was to use ISIS (Rebels) to oust Assad and then set up a regime he could control similar to what he did in Iraq, Libya and Egypt. All failed states now.
- Russia was the only force in Syria trying to eliminate ISIS.
- Obama is the most successful NWO Globalist puppet in the history of the United States and should be tried and jailed for treason along with H Clinton.

He is certainly right about the mainstream media. I am looking forward to seeing the reality of what is going on in Syria and not what we have been fed for the past 8 years. I shudder to think if Hillary had got in what Assad would be talking about. She was determined to get Assad. I just can’t see how that would have been a good thing.
