How Bombardier lobbyists squeeze billion dollar handouts from the feds

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

How do you convince the Federal Government to give you a billion dollars of taxpayers’ money?

Bombardier has already received more than $2.2B in direct government aid over the years, already gets favourable financing provided through the government backed Export Development Canada, and openly say in their own quarterly filings they’d like to use some of that money to provide dividends to shareholders.

So how do they keep getting more?

Fortunately in Canada we have a registry for lobbyists.

Watch as I show you what I found when I dug into that registry a bit.

If you’re like me, you’re probably also sick of all the corporate welfare and cronyism that goes on so remember to sign and share the petition at StopBackingBombardier.ca.

Ho hum….Let me get this straight, they are going to pay back the money? Oooohhhh….so that is why they are getting more money, so they can pay back the money. Got it.
Well let me welcome you to the leftist regressive fucktard cult that likes to post here.

Ho Hum when have they ever paid back a loan? And why were they exempt from Kyoto? You are an idiot. And why no loans for oil companies?

Why do all the people in Ontario and Alberta look at corporate welfare in Quebec?
There is more than enough for you to find in your own backyard. But Shhh not there.

This Canadian shit show has been running for decades – and now that we have a liberal in Ottawa, and not a very bright one at that, expect the financial raping of Canadians to ramp up – we’re just getting started folks!!!

Bombardier is not getting outright grants. These are loans – albeit at attractive rates – that will be paid back over time. Considering how many 10,000’s of workers in Canada depend on Bombardier this is money well spent.

Lilley is proving what an idiot he is with this crusade. Canada is very LUCKY to have the large Aerospace industry that we have. Aerospace is the ONLY bright spot in manufacturing in Canada. Our telecom industry has been wiped out and or auto industry jobs are being lost to Mexico.

ALL aerospace companies receiving massive financial support. If Canadian governments don’t help out Bombardier I am sure that China would be happy to pay Bombardier tens of Billions to move ALL production to China.

Well, had the Conservatives been as popular in Quebec, as they were under Mulroney, you know that they would subsidise and be given just as many grants and bonuses
