The man who injured eight people in a Minneapolis mall during a stabbing attack September 17th has now been identified.
Referring to "Allah" and asking people if they were Muslim before the attack, Somali Muslim, Dahir Adan, has been identified as the jihadi.
Dahir Adan has been identified as the man who launched a knife attack in a Minnesota mall on Saturday that left eight people with serious injuries.
The attack took place Saturday night at the Crossroads Center shopping mall in St. Cloud, with the suspect allegedly stabbing several people before being shot and killed by an off-duty police officer.
The 20-year-old suspect is reportedly a member of the local Somali Muslim community, and during the attack witnesses said he asked people if they were Muslim and stabbed those who said they were not.
This is reminiscent of the Westgate Mall attacks in Nigeria in September of 2013 where many Muslims with light arms attacked a mall and murdered all who could not answer sharia and Qu'ran based, skill testing questions.
His father identified him as a 22 year old student living in Minneapolis.
