Brian Jean on Notley: “It’s unbelievable! We see gong show after gong show from this NDP government”

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

From the personal to the political, from federal to provincial, I had a chance to speak with Wildrose Party leader Brian Jean at the Conservative Party convention in Vancouver about a number of pressing issues facing Albertans and all Canadians.

With his own family having lost several homes in the wildfires and with deep concern for the safety and well-being of many of his constituents, we discussed the news that Fort McMurray residents will be allowed back starting June 1st.

We also talk about what example, if any, the unity the federal Conservative parties achieved could serve in uniting conservatives in Alberta.

The one thing he is absolutely certain about is that progressive policies across the country, whether Trudeau in Ottawa, Notley in Alberta or Wynne in Ontario, are hurting all Canadians.

(NB: This interview was conducted before Derek Fildebrandt’s suspension)

OK then… Given my earlier comments at the very start of this comment chain, let us have an interview “toute suite” with Derek Fildebrandt to explain his stance… What we don’t need is another “churning” of the facts by the mainstream media because we know where that will lead us… The Rebel serves a unique niche in Canadian news gathering because it is obvious that “the truth is NOT out there” as far as they are concerned… I must admit, given my journalism background from the 1970s, that I have never seen such a deliberate attempt to subvert honest news reporting, and I shudder at the implications for our western Judeo-Christian based society…

2 things bother me with Brian Jean – during the last federal election, Brian Jean said and I quote, "hold your nose and vote for Stephen Harper ". We, here, couldn’t believe our ears. Many people phoned into his office including 2 of us here ticked off at this disgusting and deplorable comment. He couldn’t even promote our Prime Minister Stephen Harper. His office made excuses but I was insulted, conservatives can’t even stand together.
Another thing is this stupid dismissal of Derek Filderbrand, Derek is 100% correct and I am elated Derek told the evil wynne just how bad her policies are and we absolutely don’t want to copy any of her garbage green crap. Brian Jean needs to bring back Derek now or else, he will lose a lot of support which is NOT SOMETHING WE NEED NOW.

Progressive policies? Why do we keep using this word ’progressive" when we all know it is a euphemism for socialist/Marxist policy. I hate the word ’progressive" because of its connotation and wish the Provincial Parties would dump the word .Now that would be progress .

“Go along to get along” just doesn’t cut it. It arouses suspicion of weakness or collusion. That is what I accuse Jean of. If he is softening himself just to look good, every will catch on fast and he will get no where. If he’s soften himself to win over the PCs, why do that? They are untrustworthy. No, he refuses to stand as his own man, as a true conservative, and this is costing him dearly. He will not last long as leader.

Derek Fildebrandt demonstrated intelligence and courage in his resistance to the cult of Wynne and the Progressivist-Sodomite agenda. Given that the CPC has decided to fold itself up and cower to the Progressivist-Sodomites, someone like Fildebrandt is needed to prove there are still true conservatives who are fighters, you rightful disrespect the lies of the Progressivist-Sodomites, who is ready to smash their icons, and recognizes that the opposition to Notley and the NDP is truly a war. Notley has no problem pulling fast one is the face of a polite opposition, because she knows she will get away with it.

Now, is the time for real and determined action to smash Notley’s government, as one would smash an invading army. Derek Fildebrandt knows this and he is up to the task, like a brave soldier in a greater cause.

Dieter Cunth (if that is your real name….seems contrived):

First of all, Brian Jean is NOT “completely ineffective as a leader” as you stated. I totally agree with you that Derek Fildebrandt showed, not just courage, but a total understanding of the rot that it taking place in Ontario provincial politics under “Mr. Wynne” (apparently it was this typo on social media that led to Fildebrandt being suspended from caucus). Oops, who woulda’ thunk that Wynne was actually a “Mr.” despite the trannie camouflage dresses and pearls?

Would it were that true Conservatives could speak their mind without being castigated at every turn by the leftist media. That is why Brian Jean has to suck up during his stay in the Alberta Opposition. Just long enough to get elected as Premier next turn around. Then, and only then, will he be in a position to speak his true mind, and I, for one, can hardly wait.

Bill Elder As a born and raised Albertan I agree with you. The cons don’t seem to get it and are nothing but high spending high taxing liberals.

Brian Jean is completely ineffective as leader. Recently, it was Derek Fildebrandt who showed real courage by going after Kathleen Wynne in the Alberta Leg, citing that Notley was no different in her intentions and publicly shaming her for even being near Wynne.

Derek Fildebrandt is the leader the WR needs.

After the next Alberta provincial election Premier Brian Jean will have the task of bringing back the Alberta Advantage. All of Nanny Notley’s devastation will be dumped where it belongs and Alberta will be on the way to being the driving force of Canada once again. Brian Jean is a Alberta people person, not a political party activist, he is the future of Alberta!
commented 2016-05-29 13:14:47 -0400
After Brian sees the new red Cons (Dippers in blue cammo) and their drive to undermine the party and capture executive power, he will go back to Alberta doubled down on resolve to make the leftist/corrupt AB PC irrelevant.

Gosh, now I don’t know PETER.
I mean, I thought it was pretty clear.

Jamie MacMaster siad, "And sometimes he doesn’t, DEBORAH. "

So Jamie, what is your point?

Thanks Kenneth for your insight… I’m in British Columbia so I don’t have a fine sense of who’s saying what, or not saying at all in Wild Rose Country… But from where I sit it seems obvious that Alberta’s dilemma must be solved by flushing out the true values of every politician claiming to be on the conservative right… No tap-dancing, no glib generalities, no hiding in the weeds… Every one of them must have a microphone shoved in their face, sooner than later, to articulate where they stand… Brian Jean obviously sets the standard and conservative Albertans should accept NOTHING LESS…. If your local “conservative” is tap-dancing on issues, “out them” NOW!…

Brian…..now when you get back to Alberta, it is time to hammer down on the Ndp. I mean carry a big sledge and hammer on those parasites hard!

Brian Jean is a straight shooter, and tells it like it is. I liked him enough to vote for him, and he and the WR party will get my vote again. It is music to the ears, to hear someone speak with logic and reason. Whereas I feel like I’m going insane when I listen to anyone that is left wing. They govern without any consideration for those who do not agree with their ways. There’s no debating with the left because they’ve already decided what they are going to do, and have no intentions of governing for the benefit of the majority, because they govern to control and abuse anyone who gets in the way of their one world government agenda.

Andy, a lot of the Alberta PC’s morphed into liberals some time ago, which is why they went astray and became more interested in their own political careers than in the people of Alberta, and that is why they dislike the new conservative party in Alberta, which is Wild Rose. Hopefully they will soon realize they are done like dinner and fold their tent up and stop dividing the conservative vote between themselves and the real conservative party, Wild Rose. I salute Brian Jean for his integrity and his ongoing work to save Alberta in difficult personal circumstances, having to function as Wild Rose leader and leader of the Official Opposition in Alberta with his home burned to the ground in a fire that should have been stopped before it hit Fort MacMurry, and I pray for him and his family to make a full recovery from the loss of their homes in the Fort MacMurray fire, and for him to form the next government of Alberta and lead the reconstruction of Alberta from the Notley NDP catastrophe there.

I like your new hairstyle Sheila. God bless you Honorable Mr. Brian Jean. I’m with the Wildrose through two elections now, third time’s the charm.

Mr. Jean certainly comes across very well, he appears to be sincere when he talks. I also found him refreshing to listen to.

A good interview Sheila.

What a refreshing change to hear this man speak!…. Good interview Sheila and glad you did it… Now I would like you to try to interview some of those Alberta Conservatives that Brian mentions… Why are they not interested in honest dialogue?…

Notley and Wynne – both are stupid and insignifi-cunts!!!
