Now Canadian judges can decide if jokes “are too mean to be funny”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Last night I covered the frightening news that a Canadian comedian has been fined $42,000 over a joke he told four years ago. In this clip, I explain why this decision violates the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

I am pretty sure there is a civil war coming to many countries in the future. They cannot control everyone like they think.

“the primary preoccupation of Civil Liberties associations in the modern age is to prevent the dregs of humanity from receiving the justice they deserve. "

Well, DR. GENIUS, you’re on to something there. Because in the last twenty years there hasn’t been a fucking word from these arseholes about the erosion of property rights in Ontario or the incursions into free speech by the HRCs.

Judges are human.

Trial. A small town prosecuting attorney called his first witness to the stand in a trial, a grandmotherly, elderly woman. He approached her and asked, “Mrs. Jones, do you know me?”

She responded, “Why, yes, I do know you Mr. Williams. I’ve known you since you were a young boy. And frankly, you’ve been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you’re a rising big shot when you haven’t the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.”

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do he pointed across the room and asked, “Mrs. Williams, do you know the defense attorney?”

She again replied, “Why, yes I do. I’ve known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster too. I used to baby-sit him for his parents. And he too, has been a real disappointment to me. He’s lazy, bigoted, he has a drinking problem. The man can’t build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the shoddiest in the entire state. Yes, I know him.”

At this point, the judge rapped the courtroom to silence and called both counselors to the bench. In a very quiet voice, he said with menace, “If either of you asks her if she knows me, you’ll be jailed for contempt!”

The judges are the joke and the sad part is they know it. That means those lawyers who want to be a judge are a joke. That means those lawyers who want to get in the lineup to be a judge are a joke. That means those lawyers who have been around a while and are looking for an opening to get into the lineup of those lawyers who want to be a judge are a joke. That means those lawyers who are just beginning their career are looking at a bunch of fucking stupid asshat lawyers who only give a damn about one thing. How much money can I make. Keep that government cash flowing into my bank account. The rest of you can fuck off.

There are some exceptions and God will bless them.

If you think I don’t know what I am talking about just check the impaired driving causing death penalties in the Edmonton area over the last ten or fifteen years. Better yet, check out the drug dealer penalties. The fucking judges are some of the biggest dope users in the judicial system. They fucking know the drug dealers appearing before them because the damn dealers are selling drugs to the judge. Keep that tax payer money flowing and the lawyers, wanna be judges, the criminals and the judges are all happy.

Abolish the draconian federal and provincial Commissions of “Human Rights”. I thought Stephen Harper might have had the courage to do this while he was in power. These are evil, false judicial bodies.

Is this the beginning of a form of sharia law?

I think we need to have one big giant “eff you” conference and start repelling this constant barrage of political correctness that is stifling free speech.

Jamie MacMaster, the primary preoccupation of Civil Liberties associations in the modern age is to prevent the dregs of humanity from receiving the justice they deserve. I guess they should be proud that they worked themselves out of a job back in the 1960’s.

Hmm, for some reason I’m reminded of a fairly well known quote by some fairly well-known Islamic fellow: “There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam.” (Ayatollah Khomeini). Replace the word “Islam” with whatever noun one finds appropriate; I would suggest “progressivism” personally (though others might work too, such as “totalitarianism” or perhaps “Dying Canadian society”).
