Hillary Clinton has released a new TV ad. It's not bad. It sure makes the Republicans look angry.
But in it, Clinton bashes Republicans who've called for the bombing of ISIS to continue and even accelerate.
Why is she taking that stance?
She’s tacking left.
She’s decided that she can’t compete with Republicans for the vote of anyone who is worried about national security or terrorism or unvetted mass migration.
So she’s not going to try — in fact, she’s going to go hard the opposite direction. After all, it worked for Justin Trudeau.
Time magazine chose Angela Merkel, the chancellor of Germany, its person of the year, but they interviewed Clinton as a consolation prize. They asked:
"Any particular foreign leader whose executive stewardship you admire and might want to emulate as president?"
"Well, I have to say that I highly admire Angela Merkel. (...) She is, I think, a really effective strong leader and really right now the major leader in Europe, not just in Germany."
For the past year, Merkel has been known for just one thing: open borders, mass, unvetted migration, especially by Muslim men.
And that’s who Hillary Clinton says she admires.
