"The money to help developing nations should come from closing down Environment Canada"

Tim BallRebel Columnist

Canada sent 383 delegates to the Paris climate conference (COP21), but Russia almost matched our number with 313.

The difference is, their leader knows the science is a fraud and was likely there just to get his transfer money as one of the original developing nations.

I am willing to bet that none of the Canadian delegation knew any statistics about our carbon emissions.

I am also willing to bet that none of them know anything about climate science, period.

(The one who claims to know the most is Elizabeth May, and I know she knows nothing because I had a radio debate with her on the topic...)

I also know the result of studies on public knowledge such as the one done by Yale University. People were asked climate science questions in the same format as a high school test, and were similarly graded. Here are the results, with 77 percent of them failing:

Now, presumably the Canadian delegation would smuggly cite Environment Canada as their source of information.

The problem is, that agency's accuracy for one-year forecasts is less than 50 percent.

Environment Canada is a member of the IPCC and contributed data to the long term temperature predictions the IPCC has made since 1990 -- almost ever single one of which was wrong.

And if the predictions are wrong, the science is wrong. But we're basing billion-dollar public policies on this "science."

More important, the IPCC's forecasts for the next 50 years and beyond are based upon an ensemble of projections from over 20 climate models.

Ken Gregory at Friends of Science showed that the Environment Canada model projections are the least accurate of them all:

Before going to Paris, Justin Trudeau announced a donation of $2.65 billion to the Green Climate Fund. This is a fine to punish developed countries like Canada for building their economies using fossil fuels and thereby producing CO2. The money is supposed to compensate the poor, developing countries who are now supposedly suffering from the global warming we created.

The trouble is the CO2 did not cause the warming, and now that the sun has changed its pattern, the warming ended in 1998 anyway.

Of course, typical of those receiving handouts, these developing countries want more money regardless, demanding at least a trillion dollars to sign the Paris Climate Agreement.

Since Environment Canada weather forecasts and climate projections are so consistently and seriously wrong, the money to help developing nations should come from closing down that entire branch of government.

We know the money won't be used by developing countries for any programs that will help their people.

The taxes we pay in developed countries are almost all grossly misused, so there is no reason to believe the situation would be any different in developing nations.

As one fellow once put it:

Foreign aid is money from the poor people of the rich country given to the rich people of the poor country.

If we truly want to help the poor, we should create ways of helping them develop their economies using fossil fuels.

We must also help them set up an election system that prevents incompetent children from being elected with just 39 percent of the vote.

“From those that are able, to those that are unable” is another Marxist saying. It’s the same guilt trip. Ironically though, aren’t they claiming that us able-bodied Anglo Saxon White Males are better than them? That Capitalism works? That democracy works? And isn’t that some sort of twisted self-racism? And they keep scolding us like children (using psychology). They sound like angry psychotic divorce’s screaming at their ex what a louse he is with the their hand out demanding money – ‘cause after all – he’s capable and they’re not.

Redistribution of wealth demanded via guilt trip. The left is 100% psychology. They produce NOTHING!

The voice of reason, logic and real science falls on deaf ears when it comes to the progressive left = the PL. They have drank the kool-aid and are oblivious to the realities and facts even when they are confronted point blank! There is no use trying to get the PL to change their delusions or wake up to the realities. The effort must be directed toward the masses in a hope (no matter how futile) they will remember enough of the truth and facts when it comes time to vote and remember that the majority of voters are low-info and even lower attention span when it comes to politics and science! What this means is regular exposure on media such as the Rebel or any other media that will carry the message but mostly public campaigns and advertising in an election – federal or provincial! The masses are sheep and need to be shepherded toward the truth much the same as the PL has shepherded them toward their ideology and delusional world.

What we really need on our side is someone kick-butt and clean up the corruption and waste created by the lefty progressive Marxists, like The Rock does in this version of “The Rundown”:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgtXrL6cAAs
Substitute that ‘offensive line’ The Rock ‘deals with’ in the movie, for Justin Trudeau, Elizabeth May, FUBARack Obama, Al Gore and David Suzuki, to name just a few…sit back and enjoy a couple minutes of fun…

Our governments are selling us down the river with carbon taxes, capping oilsands, ending coal, all so they can feel good about being fake world-saving leaders. Nothing they do with their taxes and regulations will cause one ounce of overall emissions reduction yet they will kill our economy for their egos. Ontario is the proven example that Notley’s plan will only further hinder industrial growth and cost consumers, not to mention numerous other green plan drawbacks. Canadians will have to replace governments in Alberta, Ontario and Ottawa ASAP if we are to save this country from collapse.

There was a study a few years ago that looked at the foreign aid given to African countries since 1960 and in over 50 years and hundreds of billions of dollars not a single African country was better off now than in 1960. Not one had a higher standard of living . In fact the only difference was that the population in most had quadrupled and there was a higher degree of poverty. In fact most countries had developed a dependency on foreign aid as part of their revenue stream.
Foreign aid’s only purpose was to make Western leftists feel warm and fuzzy and also to provide tin pot rulers with money for their military. The world wide BandAid concert for Ethiopia allowed the Marxist govt. to buy six Mirage jets .
Cutting all foreign aid now would be ideal but with Prime Minister Doofus and his unicorn cabinet that will never happen.

When it gets right down to it, the cheques from Canada, USA and most other western countries would bounce. Time to forget this global warming hogwash and get our economies back to fiscal realities. Until democracies replace the dictatorships, puppet gov’ts and whatever else is the flavor of the day for these third countries, no amount of cash will help them.

The goal is to undermine capitalism, and overwhelm democracies, by flooding us with thousands of permanent welfare cases, that will be treated better than those of us paying the tab. Not to mention they are killing our economy, so that we all fall down to the bottom rung, all equal in our misery and poverty. They have determined that we are too privileged, so we can pay for everyone. Someone has definitely lost their minds, and they are all being paid by you and me.

The whole idea of foreign aid I believe has Mo Strong’s hands all over it. Prior to the 1950s the idea of one nation sending “aid” to another was completely unheard of.

@.65 Billion taken from hard working Canadians – that’s a big chunk of change to cough up for people earning Min. Wage – just so president Bongo of Kickapoo can buy a new Caddie SUV.

EC should be shut down just like the CBC should be shut down, and so should all of the foreign welfare.

Politicians have become shallow and self centered with no view of the nation’s position to meet the future. Spending our tax money for ‘welfare’ in its various forms does not create wealth but dependency on the government for more. Native bands lack of potable water is not a federal government responsibility but a municipal one. The fact that they have not done anything to fix the problems is due to a lack of motivation and a dependency on their ‘master’ to look after them.

Good post Tim. Saw your debate with E.M. on the net a while back, good job. Unfortunately of course you know the old adage about wrestling with pigs……

But I have a better idea to save the environment that the lefties should really love. Just ban farming, we don’t need it any more as we can just go to the store and get anything we need or want. Notely has initiatives under way to do just that here in Alberta, will keep you posted as to how it is going.
