Comedian Mike Ward: Human Rights Commission fined me for treating disabled boy like an EQUAL

Gavin McInnesRebel Commentator

Comedian Mike Ward joined me to talk about his $42,000 fine for telling a joke four years ago. He tells me about the support he's been receiving, what he plans to do next — and the case's ultimate irony.

Sorry, I don’t agree with you here Mike.
You did the right thing by defending him against other comedian damaging comments. However, if you realized you had misunderstood Jeremy Gabriel’s medical situation, you should have left it alone.

Gabriel was 14 years old when you made the joke in 2010. An adult would probably have taken it differently, but a 14 year old?

I worked with children and adults with disabilities. Sometimes, some things just aren’t funny.

I’m relatively sure that someone in Rebel Comments pointed out the similarity of our Human Rights Tribunals and Sharia courts…both are totalitarian and presume to impose punishments without any legal training. Opinion drives the decisions. I would think that someone with deep pockets should be able to get the Supreme Court to banish them…

Human rights court?

Nope.

Kangaroo court.

We do not have a justice system.

We have a legal system.

And for the most part that legal system hunts down those who work and pay bills to rob from them to give to those who want what you have – and they want it for nothing.

Declare bankruptcy.

That is why I personally own nothing. Everything I live in or utilize is in someone else’s name or in the name of a corporation.

I literally own nothing – allows me some unique freedoms.

I knew an officer at the HRC, she was a nasty bit of work.

The good ol HRC! Hypocrisy, elitism , totalitarianism, and true bigotry all in one organization. What more could a progressive ask for?
