Conservative Party sets date for leadership election. Here’s your chance to get involved

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

We’ve got a date ladies and gentlemen. May 27, 2017 is the day when Conservative Party members will decide who their next leader will be.

The party has left plenty of time to take a look at the wide field of prospective candidates, some from inside the party, some from outside.

But, it’s never too early for you to get involved in order to help shape the party and have some influence on the direction it will take.

Having name recognition won’t be enough. Even those who are known by the public will still need a team behind them to assist them with the process.

You’ll have a chance to have a say whether by getting involved on a leadership campaign or becoming a member.

We all know the saying, victory goes to those who show up. Will you be one of those who shows up? Now’s your chance to get involved.

Not everyone in Ontario, of course. There are plenty of people who can’t see how Wynne got as far as she did and why the Liberals are still in power there. (Now with an even greater majority.)

Outside of and west of Toronto, there are regions that feel as alienated as Western Canada. Does anyone in Kenora, Ont have anything in common with someone in Toronto? Thunderbay? These are the regions that should, when the time comes, consider their future annexed by the US. Even Manitoba (But maybe not Winnipeg) will even consider it as a viable future for themselves.

Freedom awaits. But it’s up to the people to turn on their governments and create better futures for themselves. Texas waits for me, of course.

Before any of you go out to “rebuild” the right wing, let me give you all a word of caution. You don’t get shit from helping out in politics. You have all been warned.

Dieter Cunth 3 hr ago Great imagination on your future Country of the US and parts of Canada mixed in. My question is why would you accept Ontario in the new country when they are almost bankrupt and heading towards the cliff under the Wynne Government which their voters seem to like?

I took out a membership with the CPC the day after the election. I think it was 25 bucks for 3 years. Part of that money goes to the MP in your riding, or the current candidate. CPC will send you e-mail once in a while to tell you what they are up to. They will also phone you on a regular basis looking for cash.

I think that the CPC should campaign close to the centre, then govern from the right. Don’t even campaign on shutting down the CBC. Do it after the majority is secured and then just like the Liberals say some stupid shit like it was too expensive to subsidize. Harper was too nice during the campaign. He should have shown video clips of dumb dumb Trudeau saying stupid shit. Really lay it on and get dirty. Harper was accused of creating fear so he should have created fear but aimed at the other two parties. That’s what the Liberals do every election. They use fear and turn it into hatred against the CPC.

Hire Doug Ford to be a permanent campaigner in the GTA. Early and often, spread lies if he has to. Demonize the Liberals and the NDP and drive them out of Toronto. Doug Ford is the perfect person for this and the time to start is now. Do the same thing in Montreal and find someone to permanently campaign in a very dirty fashion, against the Libs and Dippers. Do the same thing in Vancouver. Hire someone who is a long time resident and is respected. Attack these progressive pukes every single day. This would of course take lots of money and that’s where memberships come into play.

O’Leary might be a good choice as he is like Trump, no political affiliations with nasty critters like Desmarais. He knows how to talk fast and he could destroy Trudeau with relentless attacks.

I like Michael Chong.

What’s the rush?

If that comment is for me, now’s the time to move onto a much better place, where Freedom and conservative values are real. It’s also a place where no one is afraid to challenge the government, even with the presence, if not the force, of arms. That alone demonstrates the citizen has the means to threaten tyranny and they will do it. In light of this, I urge those like me to do likewise and abandon Canada. It’s a useless hulk.

The US is going through a very exciting period right now. The GOP is close to destroying its corrupt RINO establishment, and the Dems are close to imploding over whether or not their next presidential candidate should have a vagina or not. Btw, Hillary is uniformly disliked by the progressives in the Dems; they don’t trust her, and for very good reasons.

Truly moral leadership will emerge as the chaos of the Obama regime becomes apparent. Whether Trump or Cruz, the US will soon be on the right track. I suspect that a lot of progressives in the US will run to the Blue States, or even Canada. They are refugees, but running from the great and necessary housecleaning that’s coming. Once the US is renewed, it would be wise of Albertans, indeed all Western Canadians, to consider a similar great housecleaning and join the great union of Red States. It will be your only salvation.

ANNOUNCEMENT

In a few weeks I will be living Canada for the more civilized environs of Texas.

Texas. Where freedom is more than a word; it’s a way of living. And there’s the freedom to own guns, and carry them, too.

I have no regrets leaving Canada. It’s a cesspool wrought by CINO/progressivism compromise. The end result will be a bankrupt and morally convenient Canada. It’s your mess, now. You put up with it.

I will continue to attack Canada’s leadership at every opportunity and aid in the failure and destruction of Canada. The American Manifest Destiny will, at some time in the future, annex substantial portions of Canada. When I say substantial, I mean the parts that are worthwhile – Eastern Canada and Quebec need not apply.

You realize that Rona Ambrose is also a progressive?

At yesterday’s Canada Club address in Toronto, Ambrose went on and on about the “big tent” CPC. What is the big tent CPC? It’s all about “diversity”, “pluralism”, “openness”, etc. In other words, she didn’t once mention the word conservatism.

In should be clear that Ambrose is a woman of convenient morals, so it stands to reason that she would assume a mindset that serves the CINO agenda. She will be not be running in the next election, and she will be accepting a Liberal appointment in some capacity before long. This is the face of CPC leadership and its clearly going no where.

Not only does the conservative party need a new leader – it needs to completely revamp its platform – what it stands for. I would propose:

- A major change on immigration. Harper was as bad as the Liberals with mass 3rd world immigration. Harper brought in over 500,000 Muslims which was not only insane – it was an act of treason IMO . We need to shut our doors to Muslim / 3rd world immigration. Encourage immigration of Europeans from Europe , America and Australia. We need to counter the damage done by decades of 3rd world immigration or we will face white genocide in Canada

- Strengthen freedom of speech by doing away with “hate-speech” laws and “human rights” tribunals".

- Pledge to sell off the CBC

- Pledge to end anti-white discrimination by eliminating affirmative action and “equity” programs

- Crack down on Mosques and ban the burka.

- Bring in death penalty for crimes of terrorism and a few other crimes (e.g . child murders)

- Senators to be elected not appointed - Ban production and sale of Halal food in Canada

So far O’Leary looks like the best bet. He would be Trudeau’s worst nightmare. O’Leary would not shy away from ridiculing Justin for being so stupid. In this regard he would be Trump-like. All the others are too polite. That was the problem that the idiot Stephen Harper had in the last election. He shied away from any frontal attacks on Justin . The stupid conservative campaign message “Justin’s not ready” presupposed a time when Justin would be ready to be Prime Minister one day.

Conservative politicians need to carefully study what Donald Trump is doing. He eviscerates his opponents with vicious personal attacks. Imagine what Trump would do to Justin? Of course O’Leary is no Donald Trump – not by a long shot – but he is the best that we have.

I nominate Rob Ford. The Conservative Party’s future lies in its potential comedic value.

We need conservative people to relocate to Alberta. Then elect a separatist government. Then separate and live the dream. It’s the ONLY hope for a future. Sad. But true.
commented 2016-01-19 19:22:43 -0500
what we really need is a Reagan someone who can speak with conviction and excite the centrists about fiscal conservatism and empowering the provinces. I don’t see anyone in the present pc party that makes me think they represent my politics at all. liberal lite at best no one is even close to conservative not one has ever stood in defiance of policy to believe in what they say.
commented 2016-01-19 18:21:43 -0500
Ezra, please don’t announce your support for whoever is the PC leader until last minute.Or even for the folks vying for the PC leadership. That way at least they’d still have a chance. Your support usually signals the death knell for that hopeful.Sorry.

And Kevin O’Leary is another Irishman from Montreal – enough with the Demarais/Dussault hand puppets running this country – time to put an end to this.

Brian,

Please identify the progressives in the run up to the leadership. Peter MacKay is a progressive and needs to be called out – he surely will be in the hunt to turn the CPC into a liberal party.

Would be great if Rona ran – the CPC can change the bylaws in a heartbeat if they had to.

Well, I know I would like to see the party lean more to the right, but I am also a realist. Would a Conservative party that leans more to the right than Harper’s centrist governance actually be voted into office?
commented 2016-01-19 17:42:31 -0500
Maybe O’Leary would be the best choice. I think he’d do better than Mackay.

JAMES BARNES

Indeed. It was Preston Manning you urged Danielle Smith to join the AB PCs and sink the WR because he felt they had become too “extremist”. This provides more than enough evidence of a CINO agenda at work.
commented 2016-01-19 17:37:27 -0500
I have no interest in being involved in a so called conservative party that intends to pursue a CINO agenda.

They are all liberals and would join the Liberals if given half a chance.

While I agree that this is a prime opportunity to get involved and shape the direction of the party, how do I select which leadership candidate to buy a membership from if I really don’t know much about the various candidates? After all, if the candidate who sells the membership benefits significantly in terms of positioning for the leadership run, if I buy a membership from the wrong candidate, I’m helping someone who might actually take the party in the wrong direction. I need to know who these candidates are BEFORE I buy the membership so that I know I’m supporting the right one.

Brian’s video says the time for getting to know the candidates is somewhere down the road. Since I’m not keen to roll the dice and just hope I’ve picked a good candidate on the basis of little or no information, that means I need to wait a while until I discover a candidate that has the right attitude before I even think about buying a membership.

Some where I saw that Preston Manning is involved in this process. If he is, it is another fraud.

People are too ignorant. They bit the liberal bit and they are being guided like lemmings. The next leader needs to appease such individuals because their has been so much harm and indoctrination it is hard to combat otherwise.
