Debunking Bill Maher’s “What Republican Candidates Will Never Admit About Obama,” point by point

Gavin McInnesRebel Commentator

Do you know someone who gets most of their political information and opinions from Bill Maher? That's too bad. But it also means you'll want to watch my new video!

A recent segment on Maher's TV show have become really popular among liberals.

It's supposed to be "proof" that Obama has made America a better place in eight years.

With help from a young economist named Matt Palumbo -- here's his excellent book --  I refute Maher point by point by exposing his strawman arguments, and showing you how often he cherrypicks his "facts."

At one point, I have to defend Jeb Bush, which was pretty painful, but otherwise...

Maher another leftist that has such a small audience he knows them all by their names.

This is the man who once said “All Republicans are not racists, but all racists are Republican” showing remarkable lack of knowledge about his own country’s history. And he’s treated as an expert? Give me a break.

Is this redundant clown still around?

Here is one thing I think any conservative or Republican familiar with Canadian politics can admit about Obama. He is clearly far more intelligent, intellectual, educated, and a far better public speaker and orator than Justin. Without a doubt I find it hard to find much in Obama’s policies to agree with, but you cannot deny the man makes our leader, with whom he shares many of the same views, look like the witless dolt he is. I know this may not get much agreement from Rebel viewers, but I would say Obama’s greatest accomplishment is gaining marriage equality at the federal level – more symbolic than anything.

Bill is entertaining to listen to and occasionally makes points but he does tend to stack his panel with trained seals which amounts to canned laughter. Then to make sure the kangaroo court is complete he usually picks a debating opponent who is an easy target. Seldom will you see him pick someone who is educated and a skillful debater. His movie religulous was a good example of cherry picking. Asking questions about God to a large audience then stringing together the most outrageous answers and then concluding this is what religion is about. I have spoken to many atheists online over the years and I can assure you it would be just as easy to do the same kind of stunt with atheists rather than having an open and honest debate with informed participants on both side of the equation. There are many atheists who have said some pretty crazy things as well and at times sound like they are making it up as they go along.

This Maher-type reasoning is why Canada and the USA are going down the tubes. BECAUSE the voters who listen to Maher-types and voted Obama/Trudeau are STUPID! Stupid people should not be allowed to vote!

You should have a one-on-one debate with Maher so we can all see him pee himself in a hissy fit.

Maher’s reasoning faculty is kind of like Geraldo Rivera’s.
Not the smartest peanut in the turd.

I know I would completely crush Maher, because I see the bullshit detector redlining as he skews truth.

I like the last comment. Bill Maher isn’t very liberal or he wouldn’t base his success on how many ignorant people he can make laugh. He is at war with people and ideas instead of treating as looking at the good points and then trying to dispute it. As Gavin says: it is a logical fallacy. It is easy to win when you only surround yourself by people that agree with you.

Incredible when adults applaud and nod and bark like trained seals as this dickhead’s guests did. You see the same thing at political conventions, question period, and on-stage speeches and press releases. Doesn’t matter what Party either. It has to be the epitome of suckholery, eh? No wonder they’re called fartcatchers.

The only God in Bill’s life is Bill. He is on constant attack of religion, but prosthetizes his beliefs with the same religious fervour of a zealot. The guy believes he is the wisest man in America and a lot of people buy into it.

Gavin; I’m surprised anyone even cares or takes Bill Mahr seriously any more. His sow-biz polemic has worn thin and that’s all he ever had going for him – as a rational linear thinker he’s a washout

Glad Gavin McInnes altered his original description of Alberta’s oil extraction from “TAR SANDS” to the proper term “oil sands”. Although, his equating Calgary with Detroit was extremely off-base.
