Defence Minister Sajjan thinks we could have "dealt with" ISIS "diplomatically"? "That's Liberal crazy talk"

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

Our new Liberal Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan thinks we could have negotiated with ISIS at an earlier stage.

When asked Thursday by CBC about confronting ISIS, Sajjan said:

"We need to get better as an international coalition … better at looking at the threats early on, to making sure that we identify them early so they don't balloon into these big threats,"

"They were smaller at one time, we need to get better at identifying the subtle indicators so we might be able to have dealt with it diplomatically."

He thinks we could have dealt with ISIS diplomatically if we had dealt with them sooner.

That’s crazy talk. Liberal crazy talk.

ISIS burned a Jordanian pilot alive while pretending to negotiate with Jordanian officials for his release. ISIS murdered American aid worker Kayla Meuller even though they demanded a ransom from her family. And ISIS ideology spawned Michael Zehaf-Bibeau. He cared so little about the authority of Canadian government officials that he shot up the Parliament buildings after murdering Nathan Cirillo in cold blood.

Do jihadis really seem like the kind of people we can have diplomatic relations with? I don’t think so.

Sending a diplomat to speak to ISIS is sending them on a suicide mission.

Please go to the Star and see if it is there – I reposed it – like it if you can

I posted this on the Star:

They removed it

This is a truthful response to the article and I will be curious to see if it stays – the last one was removed.

If Sajjan is a true military man – to quote cbc and ctv – a badass – a hero – and all the things the media made up about him – he knows the dangers and would be doing his best to stop this insanity of importing the Syrians.

And if he fails as an officer who took the oath with NO EXPIRATION DATE – he should go public. THAT would make me respect him.

I think/know he is reveling in his new found power and will do nothing of the sort – proving to me he was not much of a military officer and he is not much of a Canadian. He KNOWS!

He will do nothing. That def min position is TOO nice!

He IS ex military – and if he was an officer of ANY capability – he KNOWS!

Not going to do a thing.

Which in the end will indeed prove my point. If he does – I will publicly take this all back.

You just watch and see.

Dear Colin the defense minister did nothing In afghan I was over there with him. It’s all lies wanna see pictures of what he was doing. That’s the fun thing abt it. There is always another side to this defense ministers story and metals. 3/4 fake and awarded for fake jobs. And also Colin here’s a thought do you wanna keno why we were over there. Not to help the people. We were over there to kill off whoever got in the way of America and Saudis pipelines. Oh by the way when we weren’t on patrol we were helping digging trenches with caterpillar equipment too stall pipelines. Here’s facts. If USA and Canada were so big on green renewable energy then why r we over there fighting for oil. Think abt it Colin and people. New are not over there because we are scared the middle east is going to put up wind farms and solar panels and steal our renewable energy and sell it to us. Hmm something called an ocean gets in the way. And secondly if we don’t need oil anymore as Obama and Trudeau and notley says then why we in the Middle East? We don’t need oil anymore right supposedly so why have a war in Middle East and fight for oil the fossil fuel we don’t need anymore. Let’s Hear your arguments Colin and all these green people and everyone that says oil is bad. Then we don’t need to be in the Middle East. See Colin you can talk all you want but when you have a discussion with someone who has been over there and knows why we are there then your talk is nothing. Do you know how many times we all talked with one another and said there is no war here. Middle East hates us because we are invading there space yet they have done nothing. Oh and when we left Colin we just left out weapons there and they were sold black market. I got pics of the containers we left full. I would gladly like to hear your comments and thoughts back.

Colin feel free to go strike up a conversation with them , see how that works out.
commented 2015-11-14 14:31:43 -0500
Colin how did he develop a relationship with the Taliban and where did you get this info? And sorry but the US got rid of a dictator , liberated Kuwait, and the Taliban were the invaders in Afghanistan who killed people freely. And how do you think Islam came to dominate the middle east?
commented 2015-11-14 14:24:21 -0500
I say that we test the new defence minister, and arrange a meeting with ISIS, so that they can discuss, diplomatically, why they feel excluded??? And more specifically, why they are mad beyond belief, and are global psychopaths, who have no sense of guilt or shame, and yet cover their stupid psychotic faces. Show those faces, you cowards, if you are so proud of your religion of death. I think this guy was put in this position to humiliate our forces, and those Canadians who are behind them. Nothing like mocking those who are in charge of protecting us, is there?
commented 2015-11-14 13:21:22 -0500
How do you negotiate with terrorists that want nothing but genocide ,partial genocide maybe?
commented 2015-11-14 13:12:54 -0500
What this article fails to recognize is Sajjan had success where others did not in his job in the gang squad and Afghanistan precisely because he was able to develop a relationship with “the enemy” and locals that gave him both intelligence (information) and protection that lead to effective actions against the enemy. Also, the US has been bombing the hell out of the Middle East for a decade or so and how is that working out?
commented 2015-11-14 11:58:14 -0500
Can’t seem to find the address of the ISIS embassy so we can call them up for a nice diplomatic chat.

Oh dear Sean pencon here you are on this post now. You seem to diaper in the other post abt northern gateway when we the educated asked you what Trudeau is gonna created for jobs in Canada and yet you were silent. Now your here talking abt the Muslim defense minister. And you say your happy with him. What has he done to bring recognition to Vancouver by saying he could have talked to the United States and CIA abt not creating IsIs. Who do you think funded them. It was the Saudis who bought their weapons from the United States. See they have a pack. Saudis pump oil and the US protects them. The Saudis say who they want wiped out and then US and CIA does it. When we come in here and question of Sean you get quiet and run like a little liberal. Knowledge is a powerful tool Sean and it’s something you barely have much of.

The liberal defense minister talks a big game yet is dumb to speak out when everyone knows the USA and CIA funded Isis Care to comment on this. Have you seen some of Isis weapons and hummers. Sure do look like the USA equipment from Iraq war. Oh wanna know how I know. I was there in Iraq. Where were you Sean huh. At home collecting welfare cheques smoking pot. Living off of government and my hard earned money I know who the defense minister is. And he did nothing mover there that they praise him
For he sat around and was a coward. So don’t talk abt things you have no knowledge unless you have been there and witnessed it. I have pics of the defense minister and what his real role was. This pic that is used in this article. He dressed up and made it look like he was in combat. When he never was. He never saw front line. He was a coward Now Sean would you care to discuss more

The Bible is the book of truth, and all that has happened, and is happening in the world today, has been documented in it. Strip away all the things that we have been given to use in our modern societies, and when you reach your very soul, that is when you had best decide, whether you stand against evil, or will you choose life, and ultimately the truth about God? God gave each of us a free will, hopefully to use for his purpose, but he gave us a choice, with consequences, none the less. For if God be for you, then who be against you? Keep the faith, and stand for your beliefs, and try to help others to see the truth, and you will be rewarded in eternity! This world is set to destruct, and it is evident that the forces of evil are blowing stronger, each day! Canada is not immune, no country is.

Subtle indicators?? What is so subtle about beheading people, drowning people in cages and lighting people on fire? Clearly everyone in the Muslim-elects cabinet is a complete idiot?

We needed “fight them on the beaches” and we got ‘pass the dutchie on the right hand side’.
We needed " Some neck! Some Chicken!" and we got ’Don’t worry. Be happy"!
We needed our leader to proclaim a Canadian version of;
“Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, ‘This was their finest hour.’”
But we got platitudes, and statements about ‘standing with France’ and sending help’, which when taken in light of Trudeau’s retreat from the ISIS front, probably leaves us with buying French wind and eating French cheese as the only aid Canada can send.
Perhaps our esteemed Minister of Defence would like to remind the French that they don’t have to fear ISIS and that it was all just the scare tactics of the Conservatives. If we are not careful, stupid’s ‘sunny ways’ will fundamentally change our world . .. . . for the worse.

@ Sean Penson commented 21 mins ago – Mr. Sajjan is my MP, and all my friends and neighbours are very happy with him. I don’t know if he is any better than Wai Young, but at least he is bringing recognition to Vancouver

If that is all he does it will be wonderful.

Forced diversity – watch and see how many slammers go to Vancouver – I suggest we put them in sajjan’s riding. Not going to happen.

I have no respect for him and you can be sure he will adopt the “breathless” mannerism of Mick Jagger’s kid – our pm.

His “bad ass” reputation will get the well deserved trashing it deserves from the boys if he continues to talk – “diplomacy with ISIS” – because in fact he is not known as a bad ass in the military – but none of them are truly allowed to speak out – for fear that even speaking the truth will get them fined, fired and branded a racist.

The truth is always the first casualty.

That comment alone has made nearly every military man and woman realize they too are in trouble because this guy has not got the solid understanding of the world.

He is NOT well respected within the military despite what the media reports – and that respect is going down even more now he has made that foolish statement.

Oh Canada! What HAVE you done?

What did anyone expect? The Liberals are cowards, and I am ashamed of this Liberal government, who actually hate Canada, and Canadians, as is evident in the mockery of our parliamentary system, and the appointments of those, who haven’t a clue what they are doing, or what to do. The blind leading the blind to the slaughter! I think that we have been given fair warning, Trudeau has no problem throwing Canada under the wheels, and has no plan to defend this country, in fact he will open the doors wider. This empty suit, is just that, an empty headed suit, who hasn’t any real life experience, except that he was born with the name Trudeau! PM Harper, I miss your strong, steady leadership! We now have a lunatic running the show into the ground!

No problem….put Sajjan on a plane and send him over to bezerkistan for peace talks.

The defense minister and Trudeau would have had to set up a meeting with Obama and the CIA and asked them to diplomatically not create ISIS. Haha what dumb person. All smoke and mirrors. Once they find out the truth they will be like gosh darn it Trudeau the Americans made us look stupid. Goes to show how dumb Trudeau and his party is. They are playing into the game. Does This idiot defense minister think we buy his garbage when we know Obama and CIA created IsIs just like al queda. The defense minister should know this. Its his relatives in it. Lol. Liberals are truly dumb and so is Cbc
commented 2015-11-14 00:08:24 -0500
Yes, he is SO CORRECT. All we would need to do is say “ISIS, we would like to give you the keys to the world so we can all live under your rule and the world can be united under you.”LOL

Well – he is a man who got to his position with use of his ethnic background.

His chest if full of what we call “Gimme medals” – but to say this makes you a racist.

In fact the man is a fool and was know to be one by many who worked with him.

Again – they cannot say this – the truth will always be hidden.

I am afraid that I agree with the defense minister that we have nothing to fear from ISIS. They are not going to cause problems to a country of LIEberal doo-gooders that will welcome them with open arms and give them a safe haven to attack our allies. He and Turdeau should go over there and try to reason with those terrorist. We can only hope of what the outcome would be, but I don’t think either of them have the balls. At first I thought his appointment to defense was a good choice but it turns he is only a lap dog to Turdeau and Butts.

Yup, forget bombing ISIS. Just give all of the refugees nice warm blankets and tents so they are comfortable when ISIS comes to kill all the men and take the women and children as sex slaves. What kind of idiots have you voted into power, Canada? I’ll tell you what kind: the kind that profess to care about women and children as they sit in their comfortable homes while others live in the misery of war. How they sleep at night I will never know. Liberals cut and run, all the while spewing their sanctimonious crap. Canada is now officially a cowardly, uncaring nation and doesn’t give a whit about women or children. You want to save these people? Annihilate ISIS. I am ashamed of my country.
