Does Alberta NDP really stand up for women? What about female constituent shoved at media event?

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

The NDP and its supporters were quick to blame the Wildrose Party when it came to death threats involving Rachel Notley, but they aren’t so quick to call out their own when it comes to actual physical altercations.

At the Deborah Drever announcement on Friday, a Calgary Bow constituent was pushed by someone who appears to be Shane Bostock, NDP MLA and Deputy Whip Stephanie McLean’s significant other. The announcement confirmed the return of Drever to the NDP caucus after a string of social media gaffes and her appearance on an album cover simulating a sex assault prompted Rachel Notley to boot her from caucus. And the constituent was not pleased about the news.

This was a closed event for media and constituents shouldn’t have been let in. But the shove from the man wasn’t necessary.

I talked to Trevor Marr and Rene Dejardins, who are with Stand Up For Alberta and who were also there, independent of the resident of Calgary Bow. They say that the police were called on behalf of the protestors and not the attendants inside. But the media was quick to speculate that the police had arrived to have words with the protestors and didn’t bother to get the full story.

Why was Bostock at a private event? He’s not a media representative and he’s not a government official. What’s more is that Bostock is a self described feminist, while Drever is a self described social justice warrior that wrote a Bill advocating for women. And claims she was a victim of bullying as a result of her online behaviour – all while this incident was unfolding right outside the room. Is this how the NDP are building feminism?

The NDP and its supporters were so quick to point the finger at conservatives, and in particular Wildrose conservatives, when alleged death threats were made toward the Premier of Alberta. Will Rachel Notley be as reactionary as Brian Jean and call for calm for both members and supporters of the Alberta NDP regarding this physical altercation at Deborah Drever’s announcement of her return to caucus?

D Mary – thank you for the self-defence moves! I will pass them on to my daughter and her friends.

Was this actionable? Probably yes, but let’s not get our collective knickers in a knot. He forced her out of the way so they could close the door to a closed event. It’s not like he struck her, or shoved her down, or anything else that would actually hurt her. Yelling, screaming protesters are outside the door you are manning, having the door closed is the best way to ensure they don’t do something like shoving their way in. Remember, these are most likely left-wing activist types, so they probably ascribed what they would do as protesters to what those outside would likely do.

Deborah, the wife trained all four of our daughters, a couple of son-in-laws, and the grand children have made it clear it would be a mistake to mess with them in the playground. More importantly, and to respond to your point, they are all excellent marksmen, which I believe may be more appropriate in dealing with the threat.

Great journalism, you failed to name this woman, who’s not some protester, she’s been banned by the Calgary-Bow constituency office for harassing the MLA and causing disturbances in the office, and is known to CPS. And don’t ask me to cite my sources, that’s your job.

D Mary – I’m hoping that your wife can be recruited to train our Canadian boys and girls. God knows that they are going to need it, since our own governments have unleashed this evil upon us, and when the chips are down, they will allow this evil to happen. Our police forces have become glorified security guards, and are being paid now to suppress our rights.

Almost forgot Deborah, she showed me a very simple move back in the 70’s that, when I saw Steven Segal perform it in his movies, I said “he must have seen you do that sweetheart.” It is as surprisingly simple as the knee shot, and all you have to do is grab the shover’s hand and turn it palm up, and lift. You can almost hear the ligaments snapping.

Deborah, my wife is not only a good old country girl, but she earned her black belt over 25 years ago. It would be one swift movement, surprisingly simple, she showed me years ago, and whomever touched her would be on the waiting list for a knee replacement. It is amazing to watch her go through her routines, and yet she has never had to hurt anyone, too badly.

D Mary – I’d like to see that. Maybe we can set up a public match and have your wife twist this NDP moron into a pretzel. I would definitely bet on your wife to win, because the NDP are wimps and cowards, and crybabies! If he had pushed me, I would have slapped his stupid face.

Had that idiot pushed my wife aside, he would still be in surgery, and not by my hand, but hers.

She had better enjoy her windfall of cash and save some of it for the future, because the party will soon be over, and she will be sent back to mediocrity in just over a few years, where she belongs. She won’t be alone though, Rachel and her class clown thugs will be going with her.

Great video, Holly. I love how you are very objective, fair, and well researched in all your videos.

This guy was certainly no gentleman but of course he is a socialist, that kind of behavior is to be expected from these morons.

Ndp feminazis do not truly give a damn about women as long as the cash flows into their pockets.

Ndp men are insipid, limp wristed, weak dicked and might as well be known as women haters.

Watch when this government is turned out in three and a half years.

Watch and see who suddenly has a far better life style than before the entered politics.

Follow the money.

the young lady should have pressed charges – yes it’s a lot of time and trouble involved but it’s this sort of apathy that got us where we are now – people you have to stand up and do, do, do – especially when you have the law on your side (and as for the conversation inside with the police, I wouldn’t be surprised if it had absolutely nothing to do with the incident !

As for letting that stupid kid back into the fold speaks volumes to whom we are dealing with here. Dirty commie pigs……….. There was a time when they would have been dragged through the streets on the end of a meat hook.

When Notley first announced that she was putting Drever in the penalty box I full expected Drever would be re-instated and with this event triumphantly.

If that idiot would have laid a hand on me we would have pulled back a bloody stump. These Marxist bullies with pretend mommy and daddy issues running this province have got to go.
Brian Jean has got to either grow a pair or leave, I disagree the way that he handled the death threat issue, saying that he would have people prosecuted for uttering such threats. Instead he should have brought every threat and had them read in the ledge to show nutley just how far good people will go when being terrorized by their government. For that reason I’m more than dissatisfied with the wildrose party.
These where threats that had showed up on wildrose party mla’s Facebook pages, I might add.
