Embarrassed bureaucrats “fix” Ottawa lemonade stand DEBACLE with more . . . bureaucracy

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

You’ve likely heard the story out of the nation’s capital about two little girls who tried to set up a lemonade stand to raise some money for camp?

The story made headlines across the nation after two little girls made the innocent mistake of setting up their stand in an area controlled by the National Capital Commission and were shut down.

As the news got out and the bureaucrats were rightly mocked, so they set out to fix their mistake but they did it in a way that only a bureaucrat could.

Watch as I show you the hoops and obstacles they set out for the five and seven year old girls before they'd let them get on with their entrepreneurial activity.

You can see the fourteen point ‘face-saving’ form the bureaucrats issued the sisters HERE.

Only in Ottawa.

Bureaucrats at all levels think they run the country/province/county/city (choose the level you like).

Unfortunately, the unelected assholes DO run the jurisdiction that they preside over. The system needs to change. The bureaucrats have way too much power.

Shut down the National Capital Commission.

the most ironic part of this whole debacle is that the majority of morons who rely on cbc censorship to verify their stupidity…were agreeing with the fascists….they also thought that the “professional” appearance of the stand was a disgrace….how dare a parent be involved with their children..it was also pretty funny that the “cop” insisted that the median was ncc territory while the spokesperson had no idea if it was or wasnt..

Wish lemonade stands were are only issue with our lucifernarian government.

During the election campaign, the now so-called prime minister made his intentions clear that he would be coming down hard on small businesses, since they are just wealthy people trying to avoid paying taxes. Therefore this example of fascist thuggery should come as no surprise to anyone.

And the CBC lefties mock us for wanting smaller government. The reason we do is obvious: bureaucrats have to justify their existence. The only way to do so is to enact more regulation. Smaller government is better government.

Did the CUCK libranos enforce the $15 per hour minimum wage on these children too?

Further to my comment below. . . . simply providing folks with a list of best practices, to keep themselves out of court would be the way to go. The other thing to do, is push back against the Lefty-stacked courts that convict ppl. It all comes down to personal responsibility, which, the Lefty’s don’t believe in. The lawyer/bureaucrats, are really just responding to the courts. They know you’ll get fried for the tiniest thing, so they’re trying to protect you. If you get rid of the stupidity in the courts, it dissipates throughout the rest of society. So they’re really the bad guys!!

The bureaucrats, are really just trying to cover their asses. We need to start seeing this mindset as the serious anti-democratic monster that it is. A couple in Ontario tried to adopt a baby, and 10yrs of bureaucracy later, gave up! It’s choking our society and we need not to scoff, but to take it very seriously, and start a movement to walk it back!! I’m seeing it more and more in the financial sector. I always push back, and encourage others within their industry to do the same. Forget the what-if’s. Life has risk, get over it!!

And some people say our society has PROGRESSED, umm in what way exactly?

That is the nature of bureaucracy. It’s top heavy and self—perpetuating. The top level bureaucrats, being primarily composed of lawyer and accountants, are constantly coming up with “what if” scenarios to justify their jobs, then the call for more lawyer/accountant type positions to deal with those “what if” scenarios, who then identify more “what if” scenarios, and so on, and so on and so on….. self-perpetuating, but no common sense. After all common sense isn’t part of their mandate.

Bureaucrats are the same the world over, simple minded idiots who pray to the likes of Stalin. They like to do clever things, like sending you a letter that explains to you that you will be receiving another letter to explain why you received the first letter. Simple minded idiots, that cost the Taxpayer a lot of money.

When life gives you lemons….make lemonade.
Oh yeah? Not in Ottawa with all those sour puss bureaucrats.

At least they weren’t required to ensure that any signage also featured our third official language . . . for now. Thank goodness for small mercies.

Poor kids. Probably scarred for life by being exposed to the red tape “worm” at such a young age.
