Some of the most left-wing media companies in Canada have arranged sweet deals, where their business costs are actually paid for by a "charity". The far-left news site The Tyee accepts money from the Tides Foundation and The Walrus actually has charitable status itself, even though it is highly political. We don't pretend that our journalism is charity work. But we think it's important. So we are asking for your help to fill specific journalistic positions. A reporter for investigative journalism; for energy and environmental journalism; for middle eastern journalism (based in Jerusalem); and for civil liberties journalism. Each position needs $4,000 per month. *Please note: This is a monthly expense. If you select this item, you will be asked to contribute monthly. You can cancel at any time.
