Entrepreneurs deserve gratitude, not scorn: Meet two of my favourites

Gavin McInnesRebel Commentator

An article came out recently claiming there is no entrepreneur gene and most successful businessmen come from money.

The implication here is more "You didn't build that" crap. The Western world is nothing without entrepreneurs.

We can't afford to be ingrates and scoff at their incredible talents.

We need to politely say thank you.

My two favorite entrepreneurs this week are Anthony Maglica and Tim Leatherman.

The former makes Mag-Lites and the latter makes the utility tool of the same name.

I don't care if they came from money (they didn't) or if they grew up broke.

What matters is they've improved our lives with their hard work and bravery.

We're nothing without them so let's stop biting the hand that feeds us.

Kenneth. I’m sorry. Sometimes my emotions override my common sense. I call it justifiable anger. Please pray for me. You are right. Vengeance is mine said the Lord.

Sean, it’s great that you are helping to financially support THEREBEL.MEDIA, but do you think that alienating the conservative Christians who are doing so is going to increase or decrease that support? Or do you not care if you drive away those supporters? I would think you would care, if you really want to help THEREBEL.MEDIA, but not if you don’t want to. You also might want to consider the possible consequences to yourself of spitting in the face of God and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible makes it clear that God is not mocked without consequences to the mocker, if he/she doesn’t repent. Read Exodus 20:7. Friendly advice: I wouldn’t play around with God if I were you. Just sayin….

“I’m helping to pay for this website’s ongoing operation, so I really would appreciate it, thanks.” ~ I’m also helping to pay for this site and all I can say is, JESUS H CHRIST ON A POGO STICK, that was an awesome post! :p

Gavin, I like your message and I like you a lot, so can I respectfully ask that you respect my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and what He did for the human race, and not use His name gratuitously (or “in vain”, as the Bible puts it) in your REBEL.MEDIA videos? I’m helping to pay for this website’s ongoing operation, so I really would appreciate it, thanks.

That said, I totally agree with you that entrepreneurs are a vital part of our society. In fact, I would describe them as the exact opposite of the socialist leeches who create nothing, but just suck up the energy and wealth of people who do.

“why did that end up with a line through it??”

If you put a greater than sign before the phrase and a less than sign after, >it crosses out that phrase.<

The article is correct — there is no entrepreneur gene. I’m self-employed, after fighting the concept for 19 years. I am not genetically disposed to entrepreneurship. But I’m completing my 9th fiscal year as a self-employed tradesman, and I’m now debt-free (corporately, at least), so I gotta be doing something right…

Affirmative Action fails are the result of lefties insisting on being inclusive with minorities/women. Life, Liberty, Property (The proper quote is from Locke) are still the foundations for democracy remember that is lawfully rule by the majority and for the massive success of western cultures.
