Yeah; that’s the problem Jay… Because I fear my dogs are better judges of human character than many people allowed to vote…

Dogs are not entitled to vote in this election. Canadian citizens who are resident in that riding are entitled to vote in that riding. The candidate who receives the most votes in the riding is elected to parliament. All of which is to say it matters that you vote.

My neighbor says his g=dog will vote Liberal – all he has to do is put a black bag over it and cart it into a polling station so it can make a paw print on the doggie candidate ;-0

Update… Returned from our afternoon stroll with my Cairns and it would seem somebody had beat them to it, especially the Green sign!…

I hope the poor dog that picked the green bowl knows that after Monday there might not be a green bowl.

@ Glen Craig – yes – the eyes are like lasers when they are working. Border collies at work – it is their passion.

With trudope his work is just something to pass the time while his trust fund provides that big monthly income and trudope smokes a dube scheming to find another slammer who can run for office after arranging for a 5 years old to marry a 40 year old.

Trudope = evil = downfall of Canada = stupid Canadians who vote for him.

Certainly an important phrase: “Every Vote Counts”. The only ones who will decide who gets elected are the ones who vote.
Why not encourage your friends to vote and even offer to drive them to the polls on Monday?
If you need a lift yourself you can call the candidate’s campaign office and they will almost certainly have someone willing t give you a lift.
Didn’t get a voter card in the mail? That’s not an excuse not to vote! Go to the polling station with i.d. . Failing that, if necessary you can get someone from your poll to go with you to swear to your identity and residence.
There is no reason for not voting.

Andy Neimers——my dog is not very good on the leash. So to keep up the Family pride- I was forced to go and piss on all the Orange and Red signs.
Such are the sacrifices that I make.

@georgedyer Not sure what happens sometimes George I have posts that I thought disappeared then it reappears or I see a similar article and get a little lost as to where the original went.

Bravo Zulu…a neighbour up the road had a small flock of sheep….he used to say that it was just enough to get him out of bed in the morning….the proceeds from the wool payed for hiring people to shear them and their upkeep…he never did better than break even….but he loved to ride his ATV with his border collie…and the dog was really something to watch at work…especially the eyes.

When the dog died he ended up in a nursing home…and died shortly after

You gotts yer Green dog—- that thinks they are special -long as they don’t have to pay for it.

You gotts yer Orange Dog— that wants every dog to be equal——longs as they steal food from the Big Dog.
You gotts yer Red Dog——- That pretends that every dog is equal IF you are part of the Pack.
You gotts your Blue Dog—- That knows all dogs are Equal—— and allows them to hunt with the Pack.

Edward Jobin … funny! But I think that dog should step down. Peeing in your opponents water dish is simply unacceptable!

Jason and Matt:
What happened to your other “Every Vote Counts” feature?
The one sub-titled “but low information voters should just stay home”
I’d no sooner posted a comment on it (in response to another one, by Bill Elder) and it disappeared.
Were our views too extreme for someone?
Did we cause offence?
Have Bill and I been censored?
Please say it ain’t so.

Don’t laugh, may not be as far fetched as you think! I can’t see why our 18 year old LAB can’t vote. Just kidding! I can’t believe that there are still some people who haven’t decided who to vote for. I just hope common sense will prevail. Do we want a mature, experienced leader who takes the office of PM of this most blessed of countries serious or a drama queen who thinks moving to 24 Sussex Street is just another stage for his theatrics? I really don’t think that some people know what is at stake. Yeah, all the world might be a stage but, don’t forget, there are some GOOD actors and some very POOR actors. It’s the poor actors who ruin the show. I urge the public to take a hard, long look at the issues and weigh the outcome before placing their X. Hoping to eat from the Blue bowl on October 19, 2015.
Cute dog!!

Linda This has been a truly nasty campaign and I honestly caught one of mine peeing in the other dog’s water bowl. I think he was reenacting a scene from recent news. No word yet if he is planning to step down.

My dog had a shit in the green bowl.
What does that count for.
commented 2015-10-17 11:10:30 -0400
Have to admit it brought a chuckle.

I wonder if my sheep and cattle handling buddy – the 4 legged pal who rides literally everywhere in the truck with me – the guy who brings the animals in from the field with a wag of his tail and one simple phrase from me – “Bring ’em home boy!” – my border collie would have agreed?
commented 2015-10-17 11:05:39 -0400
For accuracy purposes, they should have used sheep instead of dogs. I’ve been seeing a lot of people acting like the former. They hear NDP shepherds and they come trotting on their heels.

Most voters, will have sober second thoughts, before casting their ballot. Example, ‘Do I really want to vote for the Muslim, Trudeau and his Sharia Law,’ or ’What will the Country be like with Communist, Muslim sympathizer, Mulclair, How can we have someone at the Helm, who dose not know Port from Starboard. I bet he knows Port from Sherry though.
In this troubling time in our history, there is only one answer. Vote Tried and Proven, Conservative, Harper.

But how would a real dog such as a Doberman, or Irish Wolf Hound, or St. Bernard vote. That is the real question!
