EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: The town of Vulcan, Alberta says farewell to Leonard Nimoy

Rebel Staff

This Alberta town was named "Vulcan" long before Star Trek went on the air, but the community embraced all things Star Trek and became famous for it.

Now it's time for them to say goodbye to the late Leonard Nimoy, who immortalized Mr. Spock on TV and film.

Caitlyn Madlener talks with Michael Mangold, the curator and co-owner of the recently opened Trekcetera Museum, one of the many Star Trek attractions that draws Trekkers from around the world to this Alberta community.

The death of an icon. The severing of yet another link to our collective youth of so long ago. Boldly Go Mr. Nimoy.
