After thugs shut down pipeline hearings, THIS should have happened next

Rebel Staff

Thugs disrupted the National Energy Board hearings for the proposed Energy East pipeline project this week. The National Energy Board is run by the Trudeau Liberals now. The city of Montreal, where these hearings were scheduled, is run by Liberal Denis Coderre.

Do you think it’s an accident that the National Energy Board, run by Trudeau, and Montreal’s police, run by Coderre, failed to protect the integrity of the hearings, and failed to lay charges? Do you think it’s an accident that, as opposed to starting again, that the whole thing was cancelled in a disgrace?

It’s part of Trudeau’s plan to discredit the entire idea of pipelines.

That’s what “social licence” means:

You can apply for permits, go to hearings follow the law, consult people. But if environmentalist extremists get violent — you just lost your “social licence.” That’s what the Liberals mean by social licence: If they can’t stop your pipeline legally, they’ll stand by as it's stopped illegally by criminals — who happen to be environmental lobbyists...

- Socialists always have to pretend they have massive grassroots support for their policies – even if they have to hire them. I wonder how they’ll feel about undermining the rule of law as their policies drive a good portion of the economy underground.

- I don’t trust polls. Hillary can’t draw squat to her rallies & Trump is packing stadiums. Rigging the primaries is easier than rigging the general election. I think other world leaders are figuring out that they might really have to deal with him. The Mexico trip is a win for Trump no matter how it turns out or how the mainstream media tries to spin it.

It looked a bit staged. Ho Ho Ho Green Giant.

I was more afraid that our environmentally (friendly giant) sized poster boy might have a cardiac event before he remembered to put the brakes on.

It was an old Vaudeville routine that was adopted by The Three Stooges wherein the Army Sgt. asks for volunteers for a suicide mission to step forward. Of course all the soldiers step back leaving the three hapless morons standing as the volunteers. And so it is with our three hapless ( hopeless) moronic leaders , Trudeau , Wynne and Notley. All three losers volunteering Canada for the ridiculous quest to save the planet by eliminating our fossil fuel industry. A fools folly that is destroying our economy and jobs and future.

Calamity Marcy said to Sean Penson, “Penson, you sick little Puppy, go to CBC and you will find friends there. Here we all detest you.”

That is what this psychopathic narcissistic masochist likes, is everyone detesting him and giving him negative attention. Probably the only way he can get attention at all is if it is negative.

Trump’s visit to Mexico was a triumph. Hillary and the MSM are so pissed. There goes their Trump narrative right down the toilette. Hillary looked old and tired at her feeble pre-emptive strike on the bold Trump initiative. Guess what? This is not a one time deal. This is the real Trump. He is more than just one dimensional. He can play the crowd and he can be Presidential. Kelly and Penson had better get out their crying towels in November. Hillary is weak and in hiding while Trump is on the move.

Butts talks about the need for an “alternative ecomomy”. If such an economy is to come, it will come from the private sector not from some enviro-wacko like Butts.

Ezra’s Bizarro World:

Someone trying to protest pipelines = Thug
Tommy Robinson: convicted threat-laced assaulter and fraudster = Non-Thug

Seek help, Ezra.

Bill Elder they are thugs , of course like you say they are too soft to intimidate anyone, but the intent is still there.

I think the the epithet “thugs” is an over statement here. I don’t see anything among the metrosexual rabble here that wouldn’t be eating pavement with a light swat.

Sorry Ezra this is non threatening

The unemployed boy on the pic is being carried back to his couch for another free round of Big Macs and best regards from the Libs.

Hi Ezra,
I used to think the country could be saved from this progressive disease, but I realize now that Harper was just holding back a dam. A dam of stupid, arrogant, narcissistic people who have bought into the lie that somebody owes them everything. That people & companies that actually make things or actually work are bad. That if we just smile & take selfies, everything will be just fine. They are the antidemocratics who believe only they have the right to decide what can happen even if the law says otherwise. They like the French King say “we are the law”. That is what Trudeau believes, it is what the media believes, it is what our educators believe & as a result all the young people pouring out of our school system believe. Nothing you or I say will stop it. It is a cancer that has spread throughout all layers of society, selfishness & shortsightedness. It has been said “one goes bankrupt slowly & then all at once” We as a country are bankrupt of morality, integrity, transparency & decency. Soon we will be financially as well & the bills will come due and all those who are expecting someone else to pay them will find themselves up the proverbially creek without a paddle. It will make the depression look like the roaring twenties.

Another good step would be taking away all products they have which require oil-like phones and clothes- and dropping them off somewhere they would have to walk and not hitch a ride on a oil powered vehicle to get back. A couple hundred klicks in the middle of nowhere would be fine.

… the thugs should have been sent to jail.

I hear creaking, not of bones but of the mindset of apathy. Keep it up Ezra, maybe some of the couch potatoes will be motivated to do something as they realize that there are organizations dedicated to ruin Canada’s energy sector and its economy. The evidence it there but so uncomfortable that ignoring it is just so much more convenient. When it starts to affect us and our families it it will be too late. We need to be motivated now and support people and organizations which want to make Canada great again.

I’m disappointed that Joel thinks Trump has less than a 50% chance of winning. This invitation to Mexico is pretty impressive. Sounds like someone thinks Trump will get in. Eat your heart out Hillary.

social licence only seems to apply to projects that trudumb and company don’t want but don’t want to say no to publically

@liza Rosie

Yes, in all seriousness, you are right however I don’t think it would hurt if the same people that are investing in the oil-pipeline, invest a little into our railroads as well.
commented 2016-08-31 22:10:17 -0400
@liza Rosie
Rail transport would only be safer because of the 5000km of electric razor wire fences , motion detecting fully automated machine gun turrets and a 50m land mine perimeter field on both sides. I mean… you can’t beat that, right?
commented 2016-08-31 22:00:27 -0400
Baranick, why do you think rail transport would be safer? All the pipeline is monitored electronically, sabotage wouldn’t go unnoticed. Nothing is faster or more reliable than pipeline transport.

Penson, all my friends who voted liberals are very, very sorry today. Those who did not vote at all are also very, very sorry. Go and ask all these environmentalists if they use their bike where ever they go. They are a bunch of hypocrites and double at that. Because they rather use the oil from Saudi Arabia on top of that. The islamist oil.
commented 2016-08-31 21:54:57 -0400
To agree with that assumption Cameron, you would have to have drunk the kool-aid. If you believe the NDP and Justin are genuinely interested in anything but stopping all oil extraction, production, delivery and usage, then you should listen more closely to everything they say not just zooming in on certain words. Gerald Butts, Trudeau’s main adviser has said it in very plain words have you not heard that clip?
I guess their plan is working because people like you actually believe they are trying.

We don’t have rule of law in Canada any more. We have Rule of Thug, Rule of Little-guy-vs-Big-guy (Marxism), Rule of Judicial Activism etc.
commented 2016-08-31 21:47:47 -0400
WE WILL BUILD A WALL of a railway system that shall be the envy of the world!

I’m talking 5000km of electric razor wire fences , motion detecting fully automated machine gun turrets. A 50m land mine perimeter field on both sides. Of course pipelines will be great for moving oil short distances. But for long distances, wouldn’t you rather have the ultimate railroad? Don’t worry the eco-nuts will be happy as well because every 10km there will be underground eco-passages linking the two sides to allow safe passage for animals.

Who is with me?

Ps. Yes Sean is a troll, and he’s actually quite funny if you don’t take him so seriously.
