Like her husband, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau has practiced how to talk about herself and then at the last minute, throw in a word to pretend she was talking about you. A great example is last week’s plea that she needs more help to “serve the people.”
Sophie Trudeau has always been a bit touched, and this time her whine didn’t go over well with the little people.
So the CBC, which is still partying on the $675 million dollar budget increase paid to it by Trudeau, stepped in to help. Journalist Neil Macdonald of all people came to Sophie’s defence, saying anyone objecting to her desire for a bigger “team” was just trying to "cut down the tall poppy.” Yeah, we’re all just jealous. Shut up and learn your place!
I don’t mind if Sophie Trudeau is a princess in her own mind, or a rock star, or a dirty comedian, or whatever. Just don’t make me pay for it, OK?
