Catherine McKenna, the Liberal environment minister, recently tweeted, “The threat of #climatechange is not gender neutral? Women are more vulnerable to the effects of climate change than men.”
And she was just getting started. I’ll show you more of her crazy tweets.
But Mckenna didn’t like the response she received from Canadians calling her out on her politically correct blather. So she whined about all the “hateful, misogynist” reactions (except she spelled “misogynist” wrong.)
By turning climate change into “a feminist issue,” Liberals are borrowing from the Obama playbook of dividing people along fault-lines.
It serves as a battering ram to get to do whatever they really want to do — change the election law, bring in carbon taxes, and give 630 Indian chiefs a veto over resource development.
The final bizarre accusation by McKenna — calling her opponents misogynists — was written by her. The first tweets were clearly written by staff, as part of their strategy. It’s Obama radicalization coming north.
McKenna's tweets aren’t trivia.
They’re a sneak peak at Liberal tactics to come...
Tonight I talk to a common sense feminist -- National Post columnist Barbara Kay -- about Catherine McKenna's comments. You'll love hearing what she has to say.
THEN Breitbart.com boss Joel Pollak is joins us again to talk about the U.S. presidential election, alongwith the latest leftist moves to shut out the GOP.
