Yea, I agree.

I have not any TV since 2006. I recommend everyone drop their TV subscription and turn to the Internet only. Yea, there is a bit of “withdrawal” for a month or two, but it is worth it. You can get everything you want with just an Internet account."

Add cable companies to the ranks of the lugenpresse. My provider won’t allow one without the other (internet w/o TV), hence I am forced to pay exorbitant rates for a medium I never use. I too have not watched TV since about 2002, primarily as I find the advertising irritating and insulting. The advent of the lugenpresse cemented that decision. Sadly, there appear to be no internet only alternatives. At least not at the confiscatory rates Canadians seem to have to pay compared to other nations.

If all Journalists were like Ezra—— the Politicians would have to become Transparent. Sainthood blood would run thru their very thin veins. Patriotism would be natural only for those that never sucked a cock.

If The Rebel can do this for $20,000, then why does it cost the CBC so much more?

Terry Roberts said, “Crowd-funding news media is a good concept but please bear in mind that the public does not want to simply fund a story with a bias to the right. They want investigative reporting and most importantly they want the TRUTH.”

So, you are saying that if the story has as you call a bias to the right", that there is no truth in it?

I challenge you to find the most “right biased” story you can find here, and prove that they lied in it.

Basically what I am saying is that simply because a story is presented from the political right perspective, it does not make it a lie.

I think government spending should be crowd sourced. If you agree with the agenda show your support by prying the money out of your own wallet, not mine. It would be interesting to see what would actually be followed through.

Necessity is the mother of invention- not government support. The Rebel. Firstest with the mostest.

Let’s take pains at The Rebel to make sure that the " new kind of journalism in Canada" doesn’t become a new kind of opinionism. This is what is destroying the discredited MSM.

I agree with what has been said. I also like the petitioning on issues, although I declined to sign Brian Lilley’s on new fighter jets because it doesn’t demand the government to tender the process. As it stands, the Liberals are intending to acquire the first batch of jets at an undisclosed price, without tender. This opens the door to more corruption and overshadows the fact that we need the equipment.

Great show Faith & Ezra!! – I’m proud to be one of the first few to support the Rebel – since the first show you guys have been super in getting at stories the rest of the world wonders about. I must point out – that I voluntarily support the REBEL – at the same time WE involuntarily support the CBC?! the Canadian Brainwashing Corporation. – at a much higher price than what we all pay to the Rebel.

Ezra makes a good point here regarding crowd funding. It is like having the privilege of voting on a news story – whether to go forward with it or not. I agree. This is the New True journalism and we need more of it. But then, the Internet has plenty of that, so the Net is the go-to place, not the lying TV channels and the dinosaur newspapers.

The mainstream media (MSM) will not do this. Instead, they spoon-feed the viewers with propaganda pap and soothing political correct BS. You will never see the CBC, CTV, Global and all those smooth liars ask the public what they want. Never. Even the CBC makes sure that feedback on their Big Lies is cut off. I lost count of the times that CBC has done this when stories are not going their way. Not the usual censoring way of saying “comments for this video have been disabled”; no, but by making sure their websites don’t work, period. Sort of like that infamous way that the rotten CNN channel suddenly says (in the middle of an uncomfortable interview with a conservative): “Gee… we seem to have lost connection with Ann…”. Really? We’re that stupid, CNN/CBC?

Yes you have Ezra, It’s called “different perspective” – something the sovietized media have tried to sublimate into conformist mono-culture the past 4 decades.

Stand firm, be different, never retreat to fallacious argument.

Some people can’t handle the truth, and politicians have trouble speaking it.

Yes, the crowd funding method is the best, most honest type of journalism.

The very fact that the socialists mock that type of journalism is in and of itself a testament to it validity.
