Conservative MPs back Liberal transgender bill that “criminalizes words”

Faith GoldyRebel Host

The federal Liberal transgender rights bill is one step closer to becoming law—but right now, it’s the sad state of the Conservative Party that I’m worried about.

Thirty-eight Tory MPs backed the bill, even though C-16 has been a bill fuelled by feelings, not facts. The Tories have fallen for the Liberal trap.

The truth is: For the Liberal architects of this bill, its endgame was never about rape or assault. These busy-bodies are legislators; they know those rules are already on our books.

No, what C-16 is really about is a war on language, about criminalizing words (pronouns, really), pronouns that correspond with a person’s biological sex.

This bill is really about signing away a portion of every Canadian’s God-given right to free speech.

The Tories are this country’s only hope for preservation of what’s good and right in our society, including the very bedrock freedoms upon which it was built.

But now, the Conservatives are bending like reeds to our Leftist overlords.

THEN author Jonathon Van Maren joins me to discuss his new book "The Culture War."

We talk about how the Sexual Revolution caught conservatives by surprise and how to fight back before it's too late.

I have heard of something new and potentially earthshaking for Canada, not really a new political party as much as it is a movement. It has been keeping a low profile at present time, for obvious reasons….

This is something big for Canada… stay tuned!

This whole gender identity thing has been given more attention than it deserves. Our politicians are behaving in knee jerk fashion for what I do not know LP. Since 98 percent of humans can correctly identify their gender as female or male what does that say about the transgender oddballs. We used to say these people have a mental/physical disorder. These little shit-disturbers are self-entitled millennials who expect the rest of the world to take notice. Too much social media and self pity instead of dealing with your affliction. Take your head out of your ass and get a life!

Many thanks for those who clarified the (chillingly Owellian) specifics on how this legislation may be used. Now I know, and now I know how better to vote. In light of the danger that simple, clear pronouns such as “he” and “she” must now endure, there may be a way around it. It may take a split second longer to say, but when necessary, just refer to the several trillion chromosomes that make up that person’s physical being. People are either “xx” or “xy,” so in a socially volatile situation, for example, just say, “xy’s Barbie Doll” is certainly a futuristic model." Come to think of it, how about washroom doors labelled with chromosomes instead? All it takes is remembering some very elemental biology, a trait alarmingly missing from so many MP’s.

@david ROSS, or Miss Ross for today. After this latest affront to our sanity has been thrust upon us by 38 of our conservative??? mps, I feel your thought of a new party may in fact be necessary.

My choice would be Bill Elder for leader, and there are many posters on this site who I would vote for if they were in my riding.

That would not include Penson, Kelly, Stephenson, Reese or any of the other leftist apologetic fucktards here.

One of my new acquaintances whom I have had contact with on this site urged me to check out Brad Prost a while back. Will be taking him up on his recommendation.

Ambrose is my rep. Will be paying her local office a visit. I want some answers on this gender alphabet soup, this bill, and HER position on climate change and carbon taxes. I’m sick of their weekly donation letters in the mail box only to find they vote in such an ABSURD way.

More make work projects for the CHRC . The Canadian government seems more than happy to oblige.

I would feel better if ( at least ) parents of transgender under age children underwent psychological testing. Something doesn’t feel right about any of this.
It just looks like grandstanding on the part of the liberals, acting on something not well thought out. The damage will become apparent as these kids authentic and not so authentic, go through puberty and grow into adulthood.

“Glass slippers aren’t one size fits all

Charlie Lowthian-Rickert is a 10-year-old transgender girl who, at age three, told her mother during bath time that she was not a boy. As a child Lowthian-Rickert wasn’t allowed to play Cinderella in a pre-school production because princess roles are for “real girls.” At age seven Lowthian-Rickert and her mother were not permitted to join a life-skill and development troupe for young girls because the groups are only for “real girls.”

Lowthian-Rickert says at the very least the bill will make it difficult for people to engage in day-to-day discriminatory behaviour. " http://capitalnews.ca/transgender-c16

‘She’ told her mother at age three?

When I saw this boy’s father support him after his ridiculous intervention on that podium, I thought " where did we go wrong in my generation ?

I think that in order to please our wives, “without God’s guidance”, we let the feminists feminise us men. This guy doesn’t even deserve to be called a Dad. But yet again, our young boys are so controlled that they can’t even express their very special and specific God given gender attributes as they’re growing.

Fixing this will take a miracle, in fact God’s guidance is crucial if we want to intervene without breaking everything in this house of cards that we’ve built over the years after we’ve thrown the baby with the religious bath water five decades ago.

We need to start a movement that will have as a premise the mutual respect of our God given roles as men and as women. Celebrate these very particular and important roles so that our children will embrace them rightfully as they grow and let our elected official know that our laws MUST be based upon the respect of them.

Thank you Faith for this very important piece. I appreciate all of your work here.

You see, this is the situation where therebel should be organizing an email blitz to bombard these pathetic excuses for representatives with all the derision and contempt they deserve.

- What the hell do the Conservatives think they’ll get from backing this? These clowns need to lose their seats.

- I’ll have to get Jonathon’s book. Alfonzo Rachel (of Zoe Nation & The Zo Loft – YouTube) has been talking about the importance of winning back the culture for years.

There are 96(?) conservative MP’s.
38 voted in favour.
So far all I can glean is that these 5 voted in support of the bill:
Ontario MP Michael Chong,
Quebec MP Maxime Bernier,
Alberta MP Deepak Obhrai
Ontario MP Lisa Raitt
Quebec MP Steven Blaney

Trost and Scheer voted against the bill. I wonder how Leitch voted?
My MP isn’t in the race but I will find out if he is in support or not, for my own information.

Anyone on therebel know of a link that will give us the names of the MPs who voted and how they voted?

Is this another make work program for lawyers and politicians or what?
It will pass just with the liberal and ndp vote, but I still would like a list of every conservative who supported this redundant and expanding bill which does little more than to put the free speech of all Canadians in jeopardy.

This is what Ambrose had to say about it. “I’ll be supporting it,” Ambrose told reporters on Tuesday. “While I know that in the past the courts have ruled that all of those protections do exist in the law, I do think the specific recognition and the codification in law is important. I know that it means a lot.”

The HRC is allowed way too much power, especially considering its members are appointed not elected. This ‘codification’ gives the ‘thought police’ more power and control. When is that ever a good thing?

Glenn Craig – yes the pronoun fascism is a machination of campus gender nazi culture – I don’t see this SPECIFICALLY in C-16 – but you and I both know that with such undefined terms in this law, this is where the special interest axe-grinders and serial litigants are going to take this new “opportunity”.

Remember the CHRC and tribunal does not adjudicate in criminal jurisdiction – it is only quasi-judicial and interprets the application of the CHR act. It punishes through expensive procedure and hefty fines that can destroy a person financially – no criminal record but with a second mortgage after a $100000 lawyer’s bill and fine – for mistaking someone’s not apparent “identity” which hurt their feelings.

Can you see any potential for abuse there? I know you can, but I have to question the judgement of Conservtive MPs who do not.

WE CANADIANS ARE ALL IN BIG TROUBLE! WE NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE NOW! WE HAVE NOTHING BUT THE BOTTOM OF THE HEAP IN POLITICS AND THEY ARE KILLING US AND THE COUNTRY!

Hyacinth: Couldn’t have said it any better.

That’s 38 Conservative MPs who should be getting hundreds of letters each from irate voters in their ridings. Letters that say: “Because of your contempt for free speech, you your party are no longer worthy of support from myself and my family.”

It won’t happen of course. Which is precisely why these craven pieces of shit continue to get away with this.
commented 2016-10-21 09:05:39 -0400
I guess the old saying " liberal, tory same old story " is relevant again.
I’m with Hyacinth, we need a new party or maybe it’s time Wild Rose went national.

The country has gone stark raving mad. We will now have a “thought police”. Have these morons read the book,1984 by Orwell. They have turned fiction into fact. Too much thinking of airy-fairy ideas leads to stupid actions like this.
commented 2016-10-21 07:26:03 -0400
A solution to all this, vote for Brad Trost. Check him out. Then tell the Conservative party how you feel and who you will be voting for.

@bill Elder…thanks Bill , I did previously download a pdf from the government site. It would seem that the pronoun edict is a campus speech code thing. These amendments add another grievance group to previously establihed legislation.

The HRC stuff is meant for employment, housing, and offer of goods and services…the hate speach thing has had it’s fangs removed with the repeal of section 13.

The criminal code just adds a “hate” surcharge to criminal acts if it can be determined that hate motivated the already criminal act

Contrary to what SJWs might think or have you believe even though the term “hate crime” is part of their vocabulary of jargon , hating people is not a crime and you can lawfully hate people to your hardened heart’s discontent………:-)

In fact you can lawfully be a complete rancourously hatefull misanthropic cromudgen who advocates Ghenghis Khan scale depopulation with complete legal impunity….Davis Suzuki comes to mind….:-)

For as log as I can remember I have been calling feminists all manner of ….pronouns..(adjectives,adverbs,nouns and apt epithets) that would get me called on the carpet on a university campus.

The problem Lauren (Laurence?) is talking about is that the difference between the law and campus speech code edicts is not explained to them and they think that Canada is the campus of their university writ large. The SJWs also think that they can self promote to the rank of Shrill Sargeant in the campus police.

“We either need a leader like Trump to step up to lead the Conservative party or we need to form a new party based on common sense, individual liberty, fundamental christian moral values that our laws used to be based on, sovereignty, “Nationalism not Globalism”, a strong and armed military, Natural Justice, Law and Order, rule of law, small government that governs not rules…”

Definitely a new party, this current lot apparently are brain dead sell outs.

" Did he have help(interference?) making the decision? "
Charlie clearly had help with his prepared statement.

The conservative party is in big trouble if they are supporting c-16. It is an attack on our freedoms and our laws by controlling and distorting the language. As mentioned discrimination laws are already on the books, there is no need for this contortion. This invented problem by truly questionable politicians is the beginning of our descent into Totalitarian state. Total political power. A "totalitarian regime attempts to control virtually all aspects of the social life, including the economy, education, art, science, private life, and morals of citizens. “The officially proclaimed ideology penetrates into the deepest reaches of societal structure and the totalitarian government seeks to completely control the thoughts and actions of its citizens.”10 “It also mobilizes the whole population in pursuit of its goals.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Totalitarianism

So today I’m feeling like expressing my feminine side more than usual so I wish to be referred to as Miss Ross and will also be using the woman’s open shower at the local swimming pool. Any resistance or protest to this will result in a complaint to the Human Rights Commission and a huge fine to the perpetrator(s) .
Its time for a new political party. Si liar to United States there is no perceptable difference between the DBC or RNC. Both are given over to NWO Globalism. Donald Trump is the sovereign USA’s only hope. So what about Canada? We either need a leader like Trump to step up to lead the Conservative party or we need to form a new party based on common sense, individual liberty, fundamental christian moral values that our laws used to be based on, sovereignty, “Nationalism not Globalism”, a strong and armed military, Natural Justice, Law and Order, rule of law, small government that governs not rules , the people have the power not the government . This used to be known as “Libertarianism” but that’s been bastardized by a few nut cases. Maybe we can get it back.

Parading this 10 year old confused child and using him like this is probably one of the most disturbing and despicable things I have ever witnessed. This is child abuse plain and simple. I feel sick to my stomach. I will refrain from posting the words in my head for the parents of this kid and the twisted politicians who had anything to do with this. Those conservatives who are in support c-16, in the race or are thinking of entering, would NEVER get my vote. To parade this kid like this is depraved.
When did this child not through puberty yet, know he wanted to be a girl? Did he have help(interference?) making the decision?

This law will hurt everybody. What are we doing?
