George Zimmerman lashes out at Obama, says he 'broke the law' and 'pitted Americans against each other based on race'

Rebel Staff

George Zimmerman is back in the news.

In a video statement, Zimmerman answered questions posed to him by his lawyer – many of which involving Barack Obama, the man he once supported.

He brings up Obama's infamous Rose Garden speech, in which he said if he “had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin.”

“For him to make incendiary comments, as he did, and direct the Department of Justice to pursue a baseless prosecution he, by far, overstretched, overreached, even broke the law in certain aspects, to where you have an innocent American being prosecuted by the federal government, which should never happen,” Zimmerman said.

Zimmerman's lawyer also asked him how Obama should have acted when speaking about the case.

“The President should have done what he said he was going to do and not interject himself in a local law enforcement matter, or a state matter, and waited until the facts came out. Instead rushing to judgment and making racially charged comments and pitting American against American. He should have taken the high road, given his position, and been an example, been a leader as the President should be and say, ‘let’s not rush to judgment,’ as I’m sure he would want that same luxury afforded to him if he was accused of something.”

The Zimmerman scandal is typical of the far-reaching effects of the litany of immoral, criminal and/or unconstitutional acts committed by Obama’s cultural-Marxist administration.
Obama is completely out of control, acting like a rabid dog.
Humans generally have the compassion, as well as the sense to protect their communities, and put down a rabid dog…
What to do to protect America and the rest of the world against the next two years of Obama-with-a-free-hand, supported by the lies and sins of omission committed by the lefty/progressive MSM, Democrats, RINOs and fellow travelers, daily!?
About those useful idiot-low information voter-dupes – read: fellow travelers – that support both the criminal, traitor and race-baiter Obama and his ilk and the criminal predator Martin, who got what he earned, who do you figure carries more responsibility for the precarious state of the union, the dupes who let it happen or the insiders who made it happen!?

I agree with George. Obama’s actions were disgusting and inexcusable but to be expected giving his background in the race baiting industry.

so William if you come to my house and walk in the backyard I’m going to stop you. The extent of force I use would be dictated by your actions when I confront you.

William the court doesn’t agree with you . Nor should it. All cases turn on facts which state George was attacked which is the first culpable act period. George owned a unit in the complex which the common area is private property. He has the right to confront someone suspicious wondering around the complex. I don’t twist facts, just state the facts according to the law.
commented 2015-03-26 08:48:15 -0400
Tom Green, you can twist the facts all you like but the fact is Zimmerman was the instigator in this situation. He created the conditions that ultimately led to the conflict. He was playing policeman and stalked a teenager coming home from a convenience store and when he confronted Trayvon and got his ass handed to him he had to pull his gun and shoot him like a coward.

We should not kid ourselves that we are better than Americans. Karla Holmolka, John Nuttall, etc are all Canadians. We also have and will always have racism. Just a fact of life that we can try to minimize. George’s mother was Latino so he is biracial are appeared to not be a racist. You don’t have to like him to see he was innocent. Stand Your Ground was not invoked as a defence bit just your basic laws of self defence. Truthfully I was surprised he got a fair and just decision.

my son went to university in the US. He lives and works in Boston and loves it. No different than living in a large city here. He lived in TO forbade couple years and saw lots of violence on the streets including a guy stabbed to death in front of his apartment.

Maurice George was not ordered at all. He was told he didn’t need to follow. That isn’t the dispatchers call. The complex is a private property and all who come onto it are lntivees. Like mailmen etc. They can’t go between buildings like TM did. George has every right to follow and approach him. TM attacked him setting up the legal use of dealt force. The evidence was cleat and that is why George got off even after all the is and negative comments by media and the President. You are an idiot.
commented 2015-03-26 05:27:16 -0400
I noticed the president didn’t say that about the Fort Hood shooter. LOL

American society is turning into a circus. The rap and gangster culture is taking over among the youth of the nation and is creating a generation of selfish, arrogant, violent and ignorant idiots. There is also a problem with people like Zimmerman who think that they can act like police officers just because they carry a gun. Owning a firearm is a big responsibility and people like him give the vast majority of responsible gun owners a bad name. This was an armed grown man stalking a teenager at night, I know if I noticed some sketchy looking mexican follow me I would be very suspicious of his motives.

As in the Ferguson matter that was an open and shut case of self defense, Obama seems to favor making shootings of blacks by whites into political footballs that generate racial division. In the Ferguson case, that division resulted in a major societal meltdown.

Obama surely knew that his comments identifying Trayvon Martin with himself or with his hypothetical son, being given publicly prior to the case being tried and all the testimony and evidence weighed in court, would be racially divisive, even incendiary, given the prejudical atmosphere being whipped up against Zimmerman at that time (pre-trial). It is therefore very difficult to believe that Obama does not have an agenda to racially divide Americans.

You have to wonder why he would want to do that. Could it be that he wants to either bring all local law enforcement under federal control, or else to generate enough civil unrest in the U.S. to give him an excuse to write an executive order suspending Congress so that he can rule on the basis of martial law, i.e. as a dictator?

Wow! Great speech, George.

George for office?

I should have added that I completely agree with everything George Zimmerman had to say on the video re: Obama, Al Sharpton, etc. My only point was that the shooting need never of happened, and George Zimmerman needs to own his part in that. I appreciate the comment about me being an idiot, though. Nice one.

If you’ll go back and listen to the tapes of the neighborhood watch dispatch communications, George Zimmerman was specifically instructed NOT to get out of the car and approach Trayvon Martin. He deliberately disobeyed direct instructions from Dispatch. You don’t have to take my word for it. Go back and listen to the communications. And Trayvon Martin would never have had the opportunity or the desire to attack George Zimmerman if George Zimmerman hadn’t got out of the car and confronted him. Obviously, twisting the facts to suit one’s default position isn’t confined to the left. And, Tom Green, thanks for the observation that I’m an idiot. I’ll certainly take you wise comments under advisement.

Ron V. stated that Obama " Clearly meant to inflame racial tensions." I couldn’t agree more. The why is deep and dark. We feel the repercussions here in Canada since he has been President. . Obama had the most amazing opportunity , an obligation really as the first black looking son of a white woman, black man union, to unify and bring together. Instead he’s thrown us back 60 years. Shame on him. To George I say way to push back.

Just another dark day in race relations in the US of which there have been many over the last 6 years…
When the MSM started calling Zimmerman a “white Hispanic” I knew we had gone through the looking glass.
They are now calling Ted Cruz the same. Is there an agenda? Nah… couldn’t be.

Maurice George doesn’t have to be a hero to be innocent. Dumb remarks idiot. George is a hero fighting against ignorance and injustice ,against a malicious prosecution.
commented 2015-03-25 22:55:17 -0400
Maurice porcine that is ridiculous. George had every right to approach TM. TM is an invitee in the complex, George was a Neighbourhood Watch member. TMI as invitee has no right to go anywhere but to the unit he was visiting.
George did not instigate anything. TM did by attacking George. Florida state law is no different that the majority of state laws. The laws that apply are basic laws of self defence. When someone fears grievous bodily harm they can resort to deadly force. Very simple. That is why George was aquirted. There was no evidence that contradicted George’s story.

Any way you slice it, George Zimmerman’s actions were responsible for the death of Trayvon Martin. I’m not saying he’s guilty of murder; I’m not saying he should have being found guilty. In fact, under Florida Law, there’s no way he could have been found guilty. However, he recklessly set in motion the chain of events that lead to Trayvon Martin’s death. He had absolutely no business getting out of the car and confronting him. That was simply arrogant, reckless machismo! George Zimmerman is no hero! Having said that, he’s absolutely right about Obama, and like I’ve said before, it seems to be in the best interest of certain people like Obama, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to keep racial tensions at a fevered pitch. It keeps them in the spot light so in the future they can rake in the bucks on the lecture circuit.

Barry is a race baiter. Always has been. He is an embarrassment to his office.

Obama graduated with a law degree from Harvard in 1991. Therefore, his intervention in this case is inexcusable. Clearly meant to inflame racial tensions.

Don’t forget Holder as well.
commented 2015-03-25 16:44:07 -0400
I’m amazed George got a fair trial. The prosecutor also was over zealous efforts to convict George.
I cant believe he can’t file against the state and city. They had no probable cause to arrest him.

Obama is a threat to peace and security in the Western world!
