Graham Mitchell must be fired from Alberta's Ministry of Energy. Here's how you can help.

Rebel Staff

Two days ago, Graham Mitchell went from creating anti-oil sands commercials to working at Alberta's energy ministry under the new NDP government.

SIGN OUR PETITION at FireMitchell.ca

Address your firm but polite concerns by email to dunvegan.centralpeace.notley@assembly.ab.ca or call 780-638-9457

Mitchell is basically a Toronto leftist activist and registered lobbyist against the oil sands -- so how did he get this job?

His new boss, Energy Minister Margaret McCuaig-Boyd, is probably wondering the same thing.

Watch my report to see what I mean:

It looks like Mitchell's appointment was a surprise to her, too. It's pretty embarrassing. Is she even in charge of her own ministry? Shouldn't she be?

This is about self-respect. No Albertan can tolerate a Toronto anti-oilsands lobbyist being installed as the boss of Alberta’s energy department.

The NDP is testing what they can get away with. They’re making a bet that Albertans roll over for this, they’ll roll over for anything.

Help me prove them wrong:

Read our petition and SIGN it at FireMitchell.ca

Class action lawsuits against the NDP and their individuals are needed to compensate people and businesses for all the economic damage they cause.

Thanks for the support guys! I’m glad to see so many people on here ‘get it’, and that we’re getting support from outside Alberta as well!

The petition said it was for Albertans. I’m not from Alberta but I signed it anyway. This anti- oil guy should be fired. I figure being a Canadian is good enough to sign the petition as the oil industry affects all of Canada in one way or another. I hope it will count. We’ll see how good the NDP is going to be for Alberta. As the other posters here mentioned the NDP did a lousy job in Ontario a few years back. I don’t think people who vote think things through very good. Look who’s running Ontario now, another loser. Proves my point about people not thinking things through when they vote.

I sent my two cents worth to the energy minister on Saturday too. I told her that she was elected, not this twit that is against our main industry, and the driving engine of the Canadian economy. I told her that she needs to resign, if she is going to go against the oil patch by bringing in the anti-oil fools. The NDP are being run by that dual citizen, Tom Mulcair. The AB NDP are keeping a lid on their budget until the federal election. Don’t be fooled again people. We need PM Harper in the big chair, because the poop is going to hit the fan when the radical budget for AB is revealed. I am so glad that we have an opposition party who are going to ride Notely until she cries uncle, or hopefully she will resign in disgrace!

I’ll ‘second’ that. Well done Sean. Now, we’ll see!?

Sean, that is a good letter!

I emailed her at minister.energy@gov.ab.ca
If you like my text, feel free to use: Dear Mrs. McCuaig-Boyd,
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I respect the democratic process and did not jump to conclusions about your appointment as energy minister for our fine province. I have no doubts about your honourable intentions in that role.
However I am discouraged by your performance to date, and that hasn’t been a very long time. I understand that you are not entirely responsible for the hiring of Mr. Graham Mitchell, to be your chief of staff. However, the situation is frankly unacceptable. If you are happy with Mr. Mitchell’s appointment it shows that you are lacking in good judgment, by asking someone who is openly working against Alberta’s interests, by participating in campaigns that show no understanding of our primary industry to run said industry, is ludicrous. We may as well have ask a fox to guard the chicken coop, and what’s worse, import the fox from ontario on a weekly basis. I’ve heard the excuses for Mr. Mitchell and they are laughable. Or on the other hand, if you are not ok with Mr. Mitchell’s appointment, that you will be a weak and ineffectual leader, controlled from the top, and we have all had our fill of that situation. Perhaps there are other explanations but those are the ones that come to mind. I hope that you remedy this situation by removing Mr. Mitchell from his position post haste and replacing him with somebody with at least a basic understanding of this crucial industry. Perhaps then you can illustrate the judgment that got you elected to your position.
Yours truly,

Ezra. I can think of absolutely “No one else” that would take on the ‘the lefts’ latest idiotic caper the way you “get after it”!
Great work! I think I just might speak for the vast majority of therebel.media members when I say I admire your hard work, and your tenacity (and results) when confronting the leftists obscene & back door capers.
As always, Thank you.

Too funny, but correct.

LIZA ROSIE,
When you misread my first comment you actually understood what I really meant. I am getting old, I guess.

Cheers to everybody!

VLAD JOHNSON,
How do you do, sir? It is an absolute pleasure to be commenting on this very site and to read the opinions of conservative supporters as yourself. Please look up VLAD DRACUL and you will understand me better. I share the first name with the great ruler of times past and he has been my model figure for my entire life, guiding me from the history books of my country of origin. Please disregard his detractors, as they are nothing compared to one of the most patriotic figures of all times.

Rusty asked, " why are people so afraid of the NDP"

We look at:
1. Their policies
2. Their track record in other provinces.
commented 2015-06-14 13:43:38 -0400
Only idiots vote NDP. Alberta forgot what they did to Ontario. They will regret the NDP.
commented 2015-06-14 12:27:18 -0400
Peter I am not angry just pointing out the fact that arrogant politicians and complacency got you(Alberta) into this mess, why are people so afraid of the NDP, fresh minds and not yet corrupted might be a good thing, getting back to some common sense

Vlad said, " I also think that the first paragraph of my first comment angered you so much,"

I think I am going to have to post my “mood” along with my comments as I was certainly not angry, it was more like incredulity that you posted the comment, because I normally don’t see you posting comments like that (or rather as I perceived the comment was)

I also tend to post a lot of sarcasm that I think tends not to be read as sarcasm. Ahhh . . . the limitations of written communications.

My apologies for any time I misunderstand people’s comments. This is a blanket cover-all-in-the-future apology much like CPP is a future-cover-all income for the retired. ;-)

PETER NETTERVILLE,
I apologize for my mistake! I said: “The only positive outcome of electing a socialist provincial party in power by the people of Alberta is that by the time the federal election rolls in they will be sober enough to make the same mistake at the federal level. Or, at least, I hope so! .” My truncated sentence should have read: “…they will be sober enough not to make the same mistake,” as LIZA ROSIE rightfully observed. Thank you so much Liza, for saving my posterior from being wrongfully judged!

PETER NETTERVILLE,
My second comment on the current story will tell you exactly that I am in agreement with you. I also think that the first paragraph of my first comment angered you so much, that you did not even read the second one. Again, my bad!

And yes, to answer your last question, I am Canadian, and have been proudly so since 2006. I am also a staunch Conservative Party supporter and I am very aware of how socialism and their apologists can and would transform a great country into a hellhole.

Well Rusty, we did get rid off queen Allison hoping that would have got rid of the corruption but that didn’t work. It’s hard to believe when you are a conservative and have a conservative government that those people that you have your trust in slowly bends you over( if you get my meaning) same as liberals and their governments and nd’s. I will say now there will much more skepticism much much more.
commented 2015-06-13 20:18:00 -0400
Rusty, why the insults and anger. Did we “terds” anger you somehow? Is there some way that Albertans have done you wrong, or are you just angry at Albertans because we are . . . what? . . . Albertans, so therefore we deserve your anger just by reason of being Albertans?
commented 2015-06-13 19:29:21 -0400
thanks Ezra for involving us the Albertans!
commented 2015-06-13 18:57:14 -0400
if you terds would of spent this much energy in fixing your fucked up province before the election you wouldn’t be in this predicament, so now you have to pay, but i agree the ndp should watch who they hire as there are some retards with an agenda

Great work Ezra and thanks. I’m glad someone is looking out for our best interests. It was great to meet you on Thursday, I found you genuine and larger than life. Great research and good work. Thanks again for fighting for the little guy. Keep it up. God Bless You

Kelvin asked, “Peter N. Where would you go? Saskatchewan? This is like a bad dream.”

Yea, probably Saskatchewan. It is the only conservative/business friendly province left in Canada. I don’t really want to because I grew up here. My parents grew up here, but I am worried for Alberta.

Donald Craig said, “i disagree…they must be given free rein .. and hope that the ndps show all of their progressive abilities/insanity before the federal election…”

Well, Donald, the do have free reign whether we want it or not. And I hope you are correct. If they show their “progressive” hand before the federal election, they actions might persuade voters to vote Conservative in the federal election. Some good might still come of Albertas’ calamity.

Notley is obviously an incompetent far left poophead.
It is very important to make the general public aware of this fact as early as possible so they will understand they have to treat this government just as strictly as the previous incompetent semi leftist poophead led adminisrations.

I hope Notely passes quickly like bad take-out.
