Gregory Alan Elliott's "not guilty" verdict is a victory for free speech -- even that of his enemies

Lauren SouthernRebel Commentator

I was there when Gregory Alan Elliott was found not guilty of "criminal harassment" over tweets sent to three SJW feminists. I even watched him send his first tweet in over three years.

I look at what this verdict means for freedom of speech online, and what the future holds for Elliott.

However, let's remember that in many ways, this verdict was a hollow victory -- because this case should never have gone to trial in the first place.

Is there no talk of a counter-suit against the feminists to remedy the financial and life costs to the real victim in this episode?

Thank God for this verdict. Gregory Alan Elliott fought a battle for us. Relieved and grateful is right, but its so true Lauren, this never should have happened in the first place. This is a victory. It would be a really sad day if it had gone the other way.

Great news. I was wondering how this turned out. Never heard a peep out of local new media here.
