Happy Tax Freedom Day Canada! Or not — Fraser Institute reveals awful truth about how much we pay

Candice MalcolmRebel Contributor

Happy Tax Freedom Day Canada . . . or not. It’s a dubious holiday because today marks the day that, according to an annual calculation provided by the Fraser Institute, you stop paying your tax bill and start working for yourself.

Many of the taxes we pay are hidden and obscured by whatever means the politicians and bureaucrats who impose them, can find. This becomes an important calculation then as it helps reveal those numbers in a way that allows us to determine how taxes and fees are impacting our lives.

The left likes to say that taxes are the price we pay to live in an advanced western democracy but does that mean we should always assume the price we’re paying is reasonable?

Watch as Candice lays out the facts and ask yourself, at what point do we the people say, “enough is enough!

The Glenn Beck show just did a week long serial biography on Ronald Reagan. Hearing Reagan talk economics, taxes, and liberalism, made me realize just how little freedom we have.

Or how about we eliminate the regional development agencies, stop funding the UN, and reduce the 1 billion or so we spend on natives.

The ongoing saga of the US Central States Pension Fund, whose 400,000 beneficiaries were recently offered cuts of up to 60% in the amounts they receive, provides an excellent warning.

Amazingly the Central States Pension Fund, which manages funds for retirees from a number of companies in 37 states, actually has $18 billion in funds. Managers from those companies simply over-promised workers how much money they would get.

But don’t you worry all you stupid Canadians – the libranos have your back. LMFAO!!!! Stupid Canadians.

good points Robert but goes against libtard and dipper philosophy, they believe in taking from the hard workers and giving to every lazy noncontributing trough feeder under the sun and they run around looking for minority causes they can blow money on whether it makes sense or not

We could all enjoy lower taxes if our governments:
1. would not waste the money they collect by sending to every country that asks for aid.
2. Would buy submarines that worked properly
3. Eliminate the senate.
4. Use our own petroleum instead of financing the Arabs by buying their oil.
5. Allowed business to flourish by reducing their tax loads, creating jobs.
6. Eliminate white elephant bureaucracies.
7. Integrate citizen information
8. Ask citizens what they want when elections are carried out
9. Use more common sense.
10. Get rid of as many useless politicians as possible.

Pretty quiet today, fewer attacks!
Must be a little Sheet Head holiday!

Ramadan by the numbers

Ramadan Bombathon 2016 Day number 5

Muslims often insist that other religions are just as violent as theirs and that the bigger problem is “Islamophobia”.
We put that narrative to the rest each Ramadan with a running count of ALL terror attacks categorized by motive.

Motive – Terror in the name of Islam………………..Attacks = 47……….Kills = 280
Motive – All other religions combined …………….Attacks = 0…………Kills = 0
Motive – By Islamophobes…………………………….Attacks = 0…………Kills = 0

Yes, we are taxed to death and until our death … just so the politicians can waste it on useless crap, and if Liberals, line their pockets and the pockets of their friends.

I have no problems with paying a fair share of taxes as in this I agree with the socialists that the price of living in a modern society is to pay taxes, but not too much.

That 43% should be no more that 25%. 25% is the maximum I think we should pay for all of it from all levels of government.
