Health Minister confirms Liberals will move quickly to expand access to abortion

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

The Liberals and the Media Party have raised the "A" word, as in "abortion".

The issue didn't come up much during the election, but judging by the quick response the CBC received from Health Minister Jane Philpott confirming that the Liberals would move quickly to expand access to abortion services for all women across the country, this is clearly a priority for the Liberals, even if that means pushing the provinces to spend money to open more private clinics.

Liberals rail against private clinics of every other kind so this shows where Liberal priorities lie.

There are murderers sitting on death row who are more human than all the people involved with abortion from the mother (shouldn’t really refer to this murderer as such) and father (same thing), to the assistants, to the abortion demonic doctor, and to the vile, disgusting people who own and run these killing clinics. Maybe pro lifers aren’t going to change this grotesque scourge of the 20th and 21st century today, but losers that promote this aren’t going to stop us from speaking up for the innocent victims in the womb who have no one else to represent them, because to ignore it is to allow it. Maybe in 50 years from now abortion will be outlawed, as it should be, and this era that promotes abortion will be frowned on as a dark and barbaric time in history, never to be repeated in a caring civilization.

Why don’t you pro death people look at what actually happens when abortion doctors (insane psychotic mass murderers) kill a late term baby. It’s called partial birth abortion. They let this fully formed innocent infant human being victim partially come out of the baby murderer’s birth canal and then they cut into the base of the skull at the neck and suck out this innocent infant victim’s brain to kill her/him. The procedure is actually much worse than what I wrote but I can’t remember the entire horrifying ordeal. If that doesn’t make you cringe or feel shocked/appalled, then you aren’t human.

Peter,

So giving a woman the right to control what happens to her own body equals a love for killing babies to you? Interesting logic.

American conservatives like you are bitching about abortion too, so I don’t see you ending your crusade if we have the same abortion laws as America. I am quite sure the REAL goal is to make abortion illegal and that will never happen.

An Anonymous Interpretation of Alice Cooper’s song, Dead Babies -
This is a sobering song that makes a tragic statement about the human condition of no real love and total self-involvement. Something all too common and something which remains an ongoing tragedy even more so now years later. The baby (i.e., Betty) is a victim representation of her young parents’ apathy for family, marriage, or anyone else. Ambition and personal pursuits of individual interests by her parents ultimately abandon the baby Betty to the diminished role of a worn out novelty. The baby Betty’s parents later make admissions to attempt to selfishly explain away and justify in hindsight any sense of guilt and responsibility for their abandonment of the baby Betty and deny their critical role in her tragic death. The baby Betty’s father is a selfish, ambitious man who abandons his family to go to Texas where he becomes a wealthy tycoon in agriculture… and despite his great wealth selfishly chooses NOT to lift a finger to help (or even acknowledge) his former family. The baby Betty’s mother (left to raise a baby on her own) feels trapped and alone… with little money, she becomes a stripper to pay the bills… not so much because she lacks the qualifications to do anything else, but moreover to cure her youthful sense of isolation and insatiable need for social adventure. The baby Betty was obviously a curious toddler left on her own while her mother was likely busy in the bedroom with some man she recently met at the bar. Because baby Betty was left unsupervised, she was able to explore and ultimately discover a bottle of aspirin (which she mistook for candy) and overdosed… dying all alone. Obviously this is a song about the sad notion that even someone so precious as a small child is expendable to the selfish needs and personal interests of parents… who possess all the necessary resources, but who lack capacity and desire to give of themselves.

I just can’t get Alice Cooper’s song out my head. I am posting this, with an interpretation (to follow) from an anonymous commenter.

“Dead Babies” – By Alice Cooper
Little Betty ate a pound of aspirin
She got them from the shelf up on the wall
Betty’s mommy wasn’t there to save her
She didn’t hear her little baby call
Wah! Dead babies Can’t take care of themselves Dead babies Can’t take things off the shelf Well we didn’t want you anyway Lalala-la, lalala-la, la la la Daddy is an agrophile in Texas Mommy’s on the bar most every night Little Betty’s sleeping in the graveyard Living there in burgundy and white Dead babies Can’t take care of themselves Dead babies Can’t take things off the shelf Well we didn’t love you anyway Lalala-la, lalala-la, la la la Goodbye Little Betty Goodbye Little Betty So long Little Betty So long Little Betty Betty, so long Dead babies Can’t take care of themselves Dead babies Can’t take things off the shelf Well we didn’t need you anyway Lalala-la, lalala-la, la la la Goodbye, Little Betty Order in the court! Order in the court room! Order! Order in the court! Order!

Canada is the only Western nation without restrictions on when a woman can request and receive an abortion. Even in Sweden, the country that leftists often point to admiringly, the gestational limit for abortion on demand is 18 weeks. In Canada, you can get an abortion up until the time of birth. That means that if the baby was killed when halfway out of the womb, that would be legal!
PETER NETTERVILLE, as you point out, there are only three countries in the world that have this legal stance towards abortion: Canada, North Korea, and China. Hmm, that puts Canada in the company of Communist North Korea and Communist China (of course, a country that Justin Trudeau “admires”), which also explains the perverse views of one of Lenin’s “useful idiots”, MICHAEL MANN.
And you are correct that no one is going to change his view of things as well as those of his crude, repulsive ‘comrade’, SEAN PENSON, who earlier had commented, “What’s wrong with that? A bad fuck session results in disposable babies…Hahahaha.”
Although you have heard the expression “you can’t fix stupid”, I would say that you can’t fix those who have overindulged on Marxist Kool-Aid.

Michael said, “The bottom line is this. No one is ever going to change your view of things, …”

The bottom line with you, Michael, is that no one is going to change your view of things either, but pro-abortionists need to understand that Canada has no laws on abortion and we are going to fight to get at least the same laws as other western nations, such as the US. You cannot stop pro-lifers from doing what they can to bring Canada into 21st century

Were you aware that there are only about three countries in the world that have no laws on abortion, Canada is in with the “illustrious” company of North Korea.

What I find disturbing is just how many people in Canada that love to murder babies. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Peter,

If you were already born, then you are already deemed a person with rights. It’s not even remotely the same thing.

Apparently it is a valid condition regarding a fetus, because those conditions are exactly what is taken into consideration by science and the medical community when it comes to women having abortions.

The bottom line is this. No one is ever going to change your view of things, but abortions will continue with approval by the AMA and the CMA. We are never going back. Pro-lifers need to understand that.

Guy Fraser – I think that they wish we were never born, and now they are going to start selecting who should live, and who should die. All those playing God, are going to be judged harshly when the day arrives!

I think I just figured out why Liberals are so profoundly in support of abortion : Survivors Guilt … they wish they were never born.

Don’t argue with Abortionista Trolls, ask their mother to perform a post birth abortion on them, since they can not survive without assistance.
commented 2015-11-19 19:00:11 -0500
Michael ask me, “Then why don’t you accept the medical view that a fetus isn’t viable outside of the womb, …”

Because that condition of the fetus is not a valid proof of the fetus not being alive. There are grown people that cannot live without support, are they no longer alive? There are cases that the fetus once reached full maturity in the womb, full term, still need support outside of the womb. Are those fetuses, now babies because they reached full term, not alive because they need support outside of the woman’s body?

No, the condition of needing support outside of the body is not a valid condition to determine life or not life.

How is abortion regulated today?

The Canadian Medical Association’s abortion policy defines abortion as the active termination of pregnancy up to 20 weeks in gestation. Canada does not have an abortion law, so abortion is governed by the same legislation as other medical procedures.

When are abortions performed?

Abortions are performed when a pregnant woman asks a doctor to terminate her pregnancy and a doctor agrees to it. In general, an abortion is requested when a woman is not able to accept the unwanted pregnancy and the prospect of having a child.

There are usually several reasons why women decide to have an abortion. Some of these are:
•not being ready to raise a child
•lack of partner’s support, absence of a partner, being in an abusive relationship
•need to complete education or keep a job
•having to raise other children
•financial situation and the lack of social support
•health problems
•pregnancies caused by incest or rape
•fetal abnormalities

M P,

If your mother aborted you – you wouldn’t know, so there’s that.
commented 2015-11-19 17:44:32 -0500
Peter,

Then why don’t you accept the medical view that a fetus isn’t viable outside of the womb, is incapable of any form of conscious awareness and does not feel pain within a certain time frame, which has been determined up to 20 weeks.

There is no scenario where is abortions are going to be illegal. You have to get over it. Pro-lifers will never win this one. Do you actually think that society will be able to go back? Science and the medical community support abortion. It’s not like they are dying to find a way to stop abortion and so any finding that you are looking for, probably won’t come.

I feel that the point is being missed here. The real problem is that traditional Canadians, traditional as apposed to Trudeau’s new found friends, have a very low fertility rate. This is so low, that traditional Canadians will die out in a few generations. Trudeau knows this and that is why he is promoting abortions. He wants to go down in history as the founder of the Islamic State of Canadistan.

Allah Akbar.

To those of you who believe that abortion is justified — In 1977 my grandfather took my 17 year old mother to a clinic in Montreal to abort me. At the time I was 5 months old in my mother’s womb. Thankfully, the doctor told them it would be too risky and I was allowed to live.

In today’s society and with current medical advancements, second and even third trimester abortions are performed and encouraged. What then? What would have become of me if I were in my mother’s womb in today’s “modern” world?

I’m so thankful that I was given the gift of life. It sickens me that that gift is not extended to others.

@ Michael – And to carry on from earlier comment, since science has not proven unequivocally with no doubt to be true the exact moment when life begins, then the safe position to take is that life begins at conception .. until proven without doubt otherwise.
commented 2015-11-19 15:10:45 -0500
Why is this a surprise? All extreme leftist liberal progressives subscribe to eugenics and population control. They are simply now legitimizing killing babies as it is a part of their ideology.
commented 2015-11-19 15:08:21 -0500
Michael said, “I just wanted to make sure that you weren’t delusional in expecting something from science to support your view.”

You have it completely backwards. I am not looking to science to support my view, I will accept as my person belief the findings of science if science can prove absolutely without any doubt when life begins.

In my opinion if any person approaches science in order to prove their own views, then they have the wrong attitude towards science. It is exactly the opposite. The science, if proven unequivocally with no doubt true on any theory, that should determine the person’s own views. Take careful notice of the caveat I have highlighted in bold.

Marilyn — Good points. I have several friends who have cried when retelling me their abortion experience. And each one has deeply regretted it. Abortion, any way you slice it,is not a pretty thing and the trauma on the part of the mother is never reported.

I ask you when they are hacking a baby to death in the womb, and the baby is struggling and fighting back against the doctors instruments, does that not suggest that the baby has a will to live?( that by the way is the sickest shit I have ever wrote and I won’t do it again). Killing babies and importing terrorist……….. Death culture?
commented 2015-11-19 14:44:52 -0500
Peter,

Fair enough. I just wanted to make sure that you weren’t delusional in expecting something from science to support your view. Science has actually been more supportive when it comes to my view.

The best I can say in this discussion is, extremely effective birth control has been available, easily and inexpensively, since I was 18 years old (60 years ago) in Canada, and well as, I would imagine, in the U.S.A. and all other parts of the Western world which always seemed to be more “progressive” than our homeland in this regard What female in her right mind would not opt for a prophylactic rather than undergoing an extremely uncomfortable (at best) or perhaps a dangerous (at worst) abortion? Why is this preferable option NEVER mentioned with regard to “a woman’s rights”? The only thing I can assume is that women today are more stupid and bovine than ever before. REMEMBER all you attackers out there, I am not referring to the plight of women in the developing/underdeveloped worlds, nor the rare instances of impregnated rapes or incest.

@ M P – Probably not, because that would mean they have to act upon that information and make a decision on the issue. No politician wants to tackle this hotbed issue. It is a political suicider.
