Here’s what Notley NDP’s “vacation” to Paris climate conference cost Albertans

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Commentator

The expense totals are in for the NDP vacation to France. Did I say vacation to France? Sorry, I meant the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris, COP21.

What was the grand total for for the 13 person entourage of Rachel Notley and Environment Minister Shannon Phillips? $71,000.

Alberta’s oil sands contribute one tenth of one percent of global C02 emissions. We are, in essence, a statistical rounding error. Yet, Rachel Notley spent $71,000 Alberta doesn’t have to fix a problem we have no impact on.

If Rachel Notley wants to spend $71,000 on a meeting, she should hold one with job creators, farmers and small business people.

James said, “… Notely and her Socialites will have their way and Alberta will become a toxic tailing waste pond that will take generations to clean up.”

The problem is that now that the Alberta public sector has got a taste of how nice life can be under a socialist government (47,000 new jobs in a single year & no wage cuts or freezes to the non-managerial employees).

Even if a Conservative government gets back in it will only be for a term because the austerity they will have to employ to bring the finances back under control, let alone into the black, will make them unpopular. And you can be certain that the left wing parties in Alberta will make as much hay as possible with all those austerity measures and attack the Conservatives relentlessly using the far left wing compliant media to do their Conservative trashing.

We must press back. If not for people standing firm on their values and sensibility, Notely and her Socialites will have their way and Alberta will become a toxic tailing waste pond that will take generations to clean up.

I have a hard time believing it cost only $71,000. 13 entitled NDP sewer swimmers would have to come to considerably more than that. I think you could easily double that number.

We have the three worst governments at the helm in Alberta, Ontario and Ottawa. They are all ripping us off with unbearable amounts and we can’t stop them. The privileged and ENTITLED. And stupid Canadians keep voting them in, isn’t insanity doing the same thing over and over again. Nutley is very scary to look at and listening to her, one can tell she really thinks she is better than any one of us. I could NOT be seen in public looking as ugly as she looks and to think she is only 51 years old. We, in Alberta, are going to be made to pay much more for everything and she doesn’t give a damn. Wait till she brings in a carbon tax for no reason but to fill her coffers and puts up these useless, expensive, grotesque birdkilling windmills all over our beautiful countryside, this SHOULDN’T BE EVER, EVER EVER ALLOWED to happen, she has got to be stopped.

She is just another one of Trudeau’s patsy’s, grooming all his MPs. Lets really see just how much information Trudeau will allow Canadians to be privy to when it comes to tavel expenses.

THis is another pet peeve I have. He constantly compares the Conservatives to the Liberal party.
It is time Trudeau stopped this comparison bullshit and get on with running this country like an adult and not a spoiled child. HIS SPEECHES EMBARRASS ME. They are long and winded. You want to have a sleep. Often times what he says make no sense., It is so embarrassing. He needs to make his speeches much shorter. When he is doing interviews with reporters, he cannot seem to shut up. His replies go on and on and on.
He says the same things over and over and over in his interviews and in his speeches.
He sounds like a broken record. Often times when he is going to says something I know exactly what he is going to say, word for word. How sick is that.
Canada we are so screwed. What have Liberal voters done.

I also want to know how much Wynne spent? Especially since she flew back and forth with staff TWICE!
Trudeau should also be exposing how much the whole trip cost, considering the massive size of the delegation he took, along with the carbon footprint of the whole trip! So much for being open and transparent! It’s been 3 months, surely they know the total cost by now???
commented 2016-03-19 13:37:26 -0400
She should spend that on another election.

Keep it up Sheila! You will certainly be persona non grata at the legislature, but The Rebel contributors will still have your back.

Notley’s only goal is spending as much money as she can on climate change. Even if there is proof that it’s not really happening. Doesn’t matter how many people she puts out of work or how much debt she puts Alberta in. It surprises me that leaders around the world will not accept the science. More important for them to be able to say “look how wonderful I am, I’m going to save our planet”

Should anyone be surprised at this point? And I have a strong suspicion that there’s more to come.

Once the Auditor General’s review comes up, Albertans are going to be infuriated at what’s happened. The recent fundraiser that the NDP had was enough to get a pass and a warning from the Ethnics Commissioner, so we can only presume what other ham-fisted mayhem Notley has pulled.

With the coming NDP convention in Edmonton, Notley will be spending a lot of time in the hall. No doubt proposing herself as a replacement for Mulcair. What? Mulcair’s leaving? Who wants him – not even his own party? Since the NDP seem to like those who cause mayhem, Notley should be a shoo-in.

Notley’s like Premier Notley is planning on moving on.

Mr. Genius you’re right, that CO2 is influencing climate , I’d say , probably, how much ? , one thing is sure the anthropogenic total amount is insignificant, most of it comes from the water vapor ( sea) anybody that has a little bit of science education knows about that, also we know that CO2 is the first plant food on earth the more of it you have the better green plants are. so.. what is the fuss about carbon tax ? well the money, got it, ’s all about money.

«Alberta’s oil sands contribute one tenth of one percent of global C02 emissions.»

I assume you mean to say 0.1% of anthropogenic CO2 emissions. Considering that nature emits 97% of all CO2 every year, that makes the anthropogenic emissions from the oil sands 0.003% of global CO2 emissions.

I’m sure no fan of the FNDP, and $71,000 is $71,000 too much for a wank and selfie fest, but in context it is about $5,461 per person which is not grossly out of line for Paris. It makes me think the feds picked up part of the tab – no different when it comes out of the same pockets, but easier to hide and obfuscate.

But when put in context against Nanny Redfraud racking up $45,000 to attend Mandela’s funeral, which the Government of Alberta had no business whatsoever sending anyone to…………

Scientists are now telling us that global warming has stopped but the dippers and liberals just keep deleting the memos. This scam will end up doing infinitely more damage than any actual change in temperature ever could.

Verne Cooke, are you kidding me, all this GW crap is another way to suck more money out of the taxpayer. It has absolutely nothing to do with reducing emissions from CO2 which is not a pollutant. How long have they been talking about this? Too long & nothing has changed, however a lot of people have gotten great vacations from it, especially Trudeau who seems to be everywhere around the world instead of his seat in parliament. He’s only there long enough to warm up the bench.

Expensive Piss Up for a bunch of Marxist Deadbeats who don’t even know what CO2 is and probably believe that the Earth is flat also.

Notley’s face looks as wrinkled as an Elephants Rump.

Vern Cooke ,don’t you know? When these climate warriors travel they use a special fuel called Pixiedustinium 3 that actually cleans the air it burns. Only us evil peasants use fossil fuels because we are pure evil.

It’s clear that Notley could care less how much she destroys the Alberta economy, how many Albertans are thrown out of oil and gas industry jobs, and how much social damage her policies do to people as a result of her obsession with ‘saving the planet’ from a non-existent threat the she has been conned into believing is real. Notley is the poster child for the Anthropogenic Global Warming delusion and its catastrophic effects on the human society that it purports to care about. I doubt Notley is curable, so she has to go or Alberta is toast.

I love that photo of Notley. Alcohol does wonderful things for the skin, especially the face.
All she needs now is a broom and she is good to go.
commented 2016-03-18 19:30:02 -0400
I’ve got a solution to our co2 problem. Let’s put a plastic bag over Nutley’s head. Not only dose harmful co2 not make it into our atmosphere we save precious oxygen. It would be a good policy to practice on anyone who thinks we need to pay taxes on the air we breath.
commented 2016-03-18 19:26:35 -0400
$71000 for what, she did ZERO NOTHING CAME OF ANY OF IT. They may as well gave it to the homeless at least they would have spent it in alberta more than likely do a better job than notley anyway..
commented 2016-03-18 19:12:39 -0400
Given their concern for carbon emissions, why didn’t any of the COP21 participants elect to attend the meeting by teleconference? There are many high-quality, inexpensive conferencing solutions available. Thoughts?

No Mike, Nutley has always looked & acted like the Wicked Witch of the West! Hopefully her condition soon becomes terminal!! God forbid – I say that! She has a “possessed” look – and the way she is acting – I think we are all having an evil “spell” cast on us!
