Last night, Hillary Clinton published a tweet, joking that only the National Enquirer would endorse Donald Trump.
That’s not an argument, that's what’s called an appeal to authority. As in, fancy people like the New York Times have endorsed Hillary Clinton.
It’s really tone deaf. A lot of Americans are sick of deferring to elites who keep getting things wrong.
But there’s one newspaper endorsement of Hillary Clinton that, for some reason, she hasn’t tweeted about. Here’s part of it:
"Clinton is the first female candidate of a major US party... the greatest comeback by a presidential aspirant since Richard Nixon won the Republican nomination in 1968 ...a milestone in the march for gender equality as Barack Obama’s victory eight years ago was in race relations..."
It goes on and on. I’m surprised this newspaper endorsement hasn’t been turned into a TV ad by Clinton.
