Honeymoon over? Justin Trudeau holds ANOTHER event without telling media -- and are they angry

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

Throughout the campaign, Justin Trudeau insisted that he would usher in a new era of openness and transparency, his version of Gorbachev's Glasnost, that would bring us out of the dark era of Harper.

He kept insisting he would be the polar opposite of the "secretive" Harper.

It seems the era of openness is ending before it really even began though. Last week some in the media were already complaining about missing or selective notification of events they would have liked the option of covering, had they known.

But let's see if any of this relatively quiet chatter makes the news at anywhere close to the scale that Harper's well documented affronts to the media did.

So much for openness and transparency but listen in to my report to find out which stories the media wasn't invited by Justin to report on.

give it a break, been in office for a week, let him start to govern. turn off your instant messaging , have a happier live for a while

I suppose we have to agree with the “compliant” Trudeau over the “secretive” Harper.
Actually I suppose that the open Trudeau is tyring his best in a complicated political forum. I will try to support him as most people in favour of open government will do.
commented 2015-11-11 15:56:19 -0500
The problem here for Trudeau is that he expects the media to be compliant with his wishes. That maybe all well and good for some in the media (re: managers) But I suspect even at the CBC there are more than a few who took Trudeau’s words to heart and expected him to do things differently. Well, they are in for a rude awaking. We’ll see how compliant certain journalists are when they are completely pissed off.

Justin obviously knows that his selected fawning media buddies won’t ask him any awkward questions whereas the general media just might.

- A Learned Man Came to Me Once -
By Stephen Crane

A learned man came to me once.
He said, “I know the way,—come.”
And I was overjoyed at this.
Together we hastened.
Soon, too soon, were we
Where my eyes were useless,
And I knew not the ways of my feet.
I clung to the hand of my friend;
But at last he cried, “I am lost.”

Nice try. What an absolutely ridiculous article. I have seen our Prime Minister in the media and more open than our previous Con Minister was in his entire 10 years as leader. Move on, nothing but rubbish in this article.

“Sad to say but Tim Hudak got screwed over by the media who completely twisted his words.”

No different than that of Federally in my opinion. It was an all out attack on Harper. The attack on Hudak was simply target practice before the federal game. The left wanted to usher in a new era and so they have. The left do not care, they have “won” and that’s all that is important to them, never mind the consequences. It’s the children and their children’s children that will be paying and paying for the messes that these governments will make.

Sad to say but Tim Hudak got screwed over by the media who completely twisted his words. He simply said he would reduce the jobs by not filling in vacancies of those who retired, not firing anyone. In any event you can see why the unions would be against this because any reduction of jobs is less union dues for them but to hear the lie repeated so often was grossly unfair and completely self serving.

Brian, “Throughout the campaign, Justin Trudeau insisted that he would usher in a new era of openness and transparency, his version of Gorbachev’s Glasnost, that would bring us out of the dark era of Harper.”

“We must speak more clearly about sexuality, contraception, about abortion, about values that control population, because the ecological crisis, in short, is the population crisis. Cut the population by 90% and there aren’t enough people left to do a great deal of ecological damage.” – Mikhail Gorbachev
Mikhail Gorbachev, Maurice Strong and Al Gore are referred to as “The Three Musketeers” of the environmental movement that is being used in order to further the one world agenda. According to Mikhail Gorbachev, “The environmental crisis is the cornerstone for the New World Order”.

That Gorbachev?

Steve, the public sector union[s] claimed Hudak would immediately rip up contracts, fire 100,000 people willy nilly (i.e.: look at the attack ad I posted).

Those 100,000 jobs would have been phased-out over the term through attrition, contracting out, and through retirements, but that’s not the message that was conveyed by the left-wing MSM.

Wynne now is faced with a hard realty of “firing” even more than 100,000 and she knows it, I guess the left prefer how it will now be done – behind closed doors – rather than openly and above board.

Hyacinth said, "he [McGuinty] promised he wouldn’t raise taxes, then voila taxes were shortly raised followed by a string of levies and number of things disallowed for OHIP. "

That sounds eerily like the NDP in Alberta. Cut from the same cloth.

100,000 jobs will be lost – Tim Hudak’s pitch. The lemmings shit themselves and voted in Orville Redenbacher instead.

There was never a “honeymoon” just an agenda to get Trudeau elected, reinstate the Trudeau Dynasty.
Why anyone would ever believe a Liberal in the first place is beyond me. All one needs do is look at how talented they are at lying, morphing into whatever the crowd they appear in front of wants. I think back how McGuinty got elected in Ontario, he promised he wouldn’t raise taxes, then voila taxes were shortly raised followed by a string of levies and number of things disallowed for OHIP. All broken platform promises. Here is a site that lists McGuinty’s scandals:
Prime example of Pierre Trudeau lying:

“Hudak handed it to Wynne.”

Hardly, the public sector unions handed the election over to Wynne, did you forget how the OPP was behind Wynne? (all links to original ad are dead, funny eh? thank goodness for cellphones), note the difference in ads, the original states “we are the OPP” the second one no longer says that.
after complaints to OPP and agencies:

Came across an opinion piece, funny at times, he takes shots against the entire political spectrum not just the Liberals:

1.1% growth?? Hardly. How about negative growth?? Hudak handed it to Wynne. PC’s handed it to Notley. Harper ran a lame campaign to open the door for Dense Trudeau.

Seeing a pattern yet??

LMFAO!!!! Here comes the financial raping of Canada.

Rocketing debts. Rocketing taxes. And credit downgrades.

All while the global economy is on the verge of financial collapse.

Good job Canadian voters. You voted in a man-child, low IQ idiot Trudeau and you get adolf hitler.

“Canada’s Parliamentary Budget Office says the new Liberal government will inherit a string of projected deficits that will make it “extremely difficult” for it to meet its target for balancing the books.
The Conservative government’s April budget assumed the economy would grow by 2 per cent this year. The PBO now expects growth of just 1.1 per cent, which is in line with many private-sector forecasters and the Bank of Canada.
However, the forecast from Parliament’s financial watchdog suggests the landscape over the coming years is also worse than what the Liberal platform had assumed, a development that could force the government to adjust its plans.”

There was a honeymoon? I cant believe anyone – at anytime – believed – ANYTHING – this guy has said. Ever. We’re circling the drain Canada. Open your eyes and – hopefully – we’ll see you on the other side. Honeymoon…uggh.

Mark funny how you lefties disappear on certain stories , then act like they never happened.
commented 2015-11-11 02:20:49 -0500
Mark you have never proved a damn thing. YOu can find a link to some blog or video to prove anything.
commented 2015-11-11 01:45:47 -0500
The Lefty’s are trying to downplay this, as Brian only showed a few tweets. But how many were taken aback but holding off saying anything? Hoping it’s just a newbie glitch or something. Oh yeah, there’s a story here, ‘cause Trudon’t said he was going to be open, just as Brian pointed out, and this was no glitch. But time will tell, as this behaviour develops into a pattern and become undeniable.
commented 2015-11-11 00:23:01 -0500
It’s great that you think I didn’t actually listen.
I said I don’t want to hear you (Brian) speak, I never said I didn’t listen. Jump to conclusions much? I actually always listen, I find him to be a windbag who is prone to extreme exaggeration (a couple tweets that people wished they had known about his event is not a “honeymoon ender”).

This is not a story. But he wouldn’t get his paycheck if he couldn’t generate controversy over nothing. Like this piece. It’s literally an attempt at creating a controversy over nothing.

If he can link to a bunch of old Rebel posts (to get the clicks up to drive his google ratings higher) you’d think he could link one specific post or article that he was trying to point out.

You guys are always telling me to prove (which I inevitably always do and then you go into ‘lalala I’m not listening land you commie bastard’) , why are your Rebel friends exempt?

Guess it was a slow news day.

Jack you post a blog from Reddit as if that is some sort of proof of your BS. How come that is fact when you do less than Brian did? And the media are pathetic cowards like you.
commented 2015-11-10 23:48:41 -0500
Jack Carter Ezra did not make the Khadr cover you halfwit. Those same people posted the picture as well, why the hell are they any better? And they never stated the Honeymoon was over , notice the question mark? Or do you notice anything the liberal media does not tell you to?
commented 2015-11-10 23:37:58 -0500
Not sure I agree with whether JT media party/honeymoon will ever cease really. So blatantly exists, all with the Liberal /media led “reclamation” of our Canada, the needing-to-be-led bunch. However, as I was continually disgusted during the campaign, with such Cdn media-lites=nose-up-JTs-arse-with-no-course-of-retreat (even-now), I realized, happily – the perpetual piss on Harper campaign will have to come to pass … eventually … (perhaps with the exclusion of the CBC, CTV) slow news days will occur, papers/airtime will require a new source of nasty, negative, complete with fear. They will have to trade in their glorious leader and “Commander-and-Twit-In-Chief” for the best fodder in years! I’m up for a few good laughs.
commented 2015-11-10 22:05:21 -0500

Yes I watched the video and the couple of tweets provided that don’t even remotely justify stating that the honeymoon is over or that the media is angry.

The media were more pissed off with Ezra and his Omar Khadr Twitter post – even people he used to work with.
commented 2015-11-10 21:42:23 -0500
Is the honeymoon over? I dunno Brian, What is the average zombie’s capacity for abuse before they feel the pain?
It will end when the insensate morons who thought the same old blundering Liberal recklessness would bring “change” are damaged enough by the “change” to seek real “change” – hint: Utopia won’t come from the NDP either.

This is a terrible state of events. The poor MSM especially CBC being ignored by Lord Muck-a-Muck Justine. Oh the dastardly deed, not telling them about his up coming events, what a selfish way to act.
I feel so sorry for the MSM especially CBC for being treated like this. Bahahahahaha.

Well, well all that bias Butt Kissing by the CTV, CBC , Media Party, The Toronto Red Star – is not paying off Trudeau is not being Transparent with you! All that petting up and promotion to no avail! The honeymoon is over!
