After BIZARRE press release by Human Rights Commission chief Marie-Claude Landry, "how could anyone expect a fair hearing before this activist nut?"

Rebel Staff

Canada's internet censorship law, Section 13, may be gone, but our Human Rights Commissions are still in the grievance business.

Yesterday the CHRC's unelected, allegedly non-partisan chief commissioner Marie-Claude Landry sent out a press release, congratulating the new Trudeau government, then telling them to "repair the erosion of human rights in Canada."

She goes on to demand the repeal of laws she doesn't like, especially ones she thinks discriminate against Muslims.

But it's her job to carry out the laws of the land -- not campaign against the ones she doesn't like!

Empress Landry obviously can't be trusted to execute the will of Parliament in a neutral and objective manner.

How would you feel if you had a case coming up before these "objective" tribunals with her in charge?

I’ve known since 2006 that the Human Rights Commissions were illiberal and un-Canadian, when I was charged for showing the Danish cartoons of Mohammed.

I don’t blame a leftist hack for being a leftist hack. I blame Stephen Harper’s late Conservatives for not cleaning out these stables when they had the chance.

Now Trudeau will put them to brutal use, either with Landry, or his own hand-picked patronage appointee.

READ Shakedown: How Our Government is Undermining Democracy in the Name of Human Rights --
Ezra Levant’s book about the Canadian Human Rights Commissions, censorship and the Mohammed cartoons was voted "the best political book of the last 25 years."

Believe that Muslim face coverings have no place in Canada?

“Protect the rights of all women to express their religion.”
Because women are being allowed to say what they think about abortion outside of clinics… oh wait, no, they’re jailed… She should have said that parliament needs to protect the rights of all women to express their religion, except Christian women.

DEBORAH GRAUPNER;
If and when TSHTF, it will come swiftly and we will not likely know, or be able to find out, and you present a darned good question…

Dan Mancuso – they shut down the Calgary and Edmonton Sun’s comment sections, during the election campaign, after they realized that the comments, were not in line with their brainwashing message. Last week when I tried to go to The Rebel’s site, a screen came up with some message about the domain. A chill ran up my spine. These are dangerous times in Canada, and I wonder how our resistance movement will be able to communicate.

“No one should live in fear because of who they are or because they have a belief that is not shared by the majority.” – CHRC Chief Commissioner Marie-Claude Landry

What a sick joke. Making such people live in fear is exactly what the HRC’s do: They make people who have traditional values live in fear of them because of who they are are what they believe, should they choose to speak their beliefs.

I am concerned about the apparent victimization of innocents by the HRC, their apparent violation of fundamental rights, their kangaroo courts, the apparent poor quality of their prosecution-persecution staff, the rulings which seem amateurism, their positioning above the law, the lack of clarity beforehand of what exactly are crimes, the assumption of guilt until proven innocent without clear definitions of what is innocence and what isn’t. They seem to be driven by ideology and that is as scary as the Salem Witch Hunters, or the Spanish Inquisitors. They have promoted fear upon the good people of our society, armed with their own kind of religious book in hand, rendering verdicts while perched on their self-righteous high ground. The end does not justify the means. When the safeguards of innocents is over-ridden to catch a few, tyranny is the end result. Mr. Trudeau: Get rid of them. Fine and punish them personally too.

My main problem with this, as with the CBC, is that she no doubt spent my hard earned tax dollars word-smithing this completely partisan ‘wish list’. Write and spew what you believe in your own free time, respect the tax dollars paying your position and keep your job output non-partisan.

Given all the Freesmasons Bro. Harper secretly parachuted into government, order in council appointments, and nomination ‘races’ over the years yes that really is a head scratcher Ezra. The establishment Masonic PC establishment bunch probably never really supported the section 13 fight. It wasn’ t their idea you see.

Marie-Claude Landry just needs a spanking and a good banging. That might calm the bitch down.

I agree Ezra, “I don’t blame a leftist hack for being a leftist hack. I blame Stephen Harper’s late Conservatives for not cleaning out these stables when they had the chance.” That includes the CBC. Watch out Ezra I think you might be hurting Empress Landry’s feelings!

The erosion of human rights in Canada was caused by the so-called “Human Rights Commissions”. They criminalize opinions with which they disagree. To restore human rights we have to get rid of these kangaroo courts.

Again I see so much unbalanced application of these tribunals and I think someone needs to hold them to account. Why did they go after Ezra over the Danish cartoons and yet say nothing about the piss Christ images posted on the CBC;s website? Why have they not got involved when Trinity Western has been the object of religious intolerance?

“If you find the case I’ve made persuasive, I urge you to join me in this important fight. Speak your mind now. If you don’t do it today, by the time tomorrow comes, it just may be illegal.”
Ezra Levant, last line of “SHAKEDOWN”.
My copy was published in 2009…and then I found SNN…which led to THEREBEL…and I’ve been pretty much saying what I think for a long time anyhow, but at least here I can have it published…unlike the mostly ‘Content Deleted’, taxpayer funded, Public Broadcaster, at a cool $ Billion a year, sorry, a cool $I,150, 000,000 a year, CBC.
Bye the bye, anyone else notice how few Media Party Comments Sections are even available anymore? Or is it just me…

BRAVO ZULU,
70 to 80 percent of all muslims are inbred. Grand Father to Grand Daughter, though uncommen, are not unknown.

My neighbor keeps asking me when I’ll become Muslim. I tell him I can’t follow a false prophet who lived as a murderer and a pedophile rapist, an adulterer and pagan. Obviously Justin can. He’s broken the first commandment." Thou shall have no false gods before me." And I could go down the list including the seven deadly sins
commented 2015-10-22 20:16:51 -0400
They should have two Rights Commissions, one, Human Rights and the other Muslim Rights, this because the two are surely not compatible. Perhaps the RSPCA would be good for the new Immigrants. On second thoughts, that would not work, Muslims believe that Dogs, Pigs, Monkeys and Women, are unclean.
Look out for new Bylaws, for example, Public Parks ‘No Dogs Allowed’, Groceries Stores, ‘No Pork’, Zoos, ‘No Monkeys’, All public places, No Women, at the wrong time of the month.
Her Royal Highness, Trudy, will do as her puppet masters tell her.

I think instead of the HRC, it should be a court with the public as the judges. I would trust the ruling of my fellow Canadians, over these kangaroo courts. Let the people decide!

This is the type of thing that the lefty’s do not want you to know about:

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/10/22/syrian-child-brides-seeking-asylum-open-new-front-european-migrant-crisis/

Certainly Yousa Kamadick supports the forced marriage of little girls to old men because every time I ask him to renounce this:

“Will you renounce forced marriage of young girls to old men?”

He simply attacks me and calls me names.

Yousa is very much an example of what we have already allowed into this country – there are literally tens of thousands more living here now.

Many of them marrying no further from their family than first cousins. Very common in arab countries.

https://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111210081150AArpurl

The HRC will happily call the simple question I have asked and the quote from an open internet site “hate speech”

Unless it is directed against a white Christian – then it is OK.

After all you cannot be a hating, trash talking, racist in Canada unless you are a white, employed taxpaying citizen. All others get a free pass by claiming victim status.

Proof of that is found by simply looking at how seldom those kangaroo courts find anyone guilty – unless of course they are white, employed taxpaying citizens.

Under the Courts of Justice Act, judge can’t be held accountable for their decisions. I wonder if these Chairs have the same protection, or if it can be circumvented by someone clever.

The best solution would be to turn the Tribunals into courts. When talk of shutting them down emerged a number of years back, the uniformed, and especially immigrants, thought that meant the end to Human Rights in Canada. Besides, the current courts are already full and we’d have to ad more. So turning them into proper courts with judges bound by law and rules alleviates both these concerns.

Bravo Zulu asked, “Anyone here ever have the honour and privilege of writing a coherent and polite missive in a cbc thread and watch it get deleted?”

Hundreds of times. Literally hundreds of times. You get the dreaded “Content Disabled” message on your post, a post only you can see.

It is on the PC party that we have the people in ‘power’.

I find that all on the left overstep their bounds like they rule the universe. Wynn did with her anti-smoking policy. That’s a municipal matter, not provincial, but she didn’t care. Her and McGuinty wrote the Green Energy Act that takes away the rights of the municipalities to have a say on turbines etc. They all do it. They’re just power hungry animals.

And yes, I’ve often said that Harper wasn’t conservative enough too!
commented 2015-10-22 18:52:35 -0400
We will not be a truly free people until these noxious Human Rights Tribunals are abolished or made subject to safeguards to prevent exactly the sort of abuses advocated – and exemplified – by Ms. Landry.

Also, Ezra is exactly right: until we do a proper housecleaning to remove activists like Ms. Landry, we will be at constant risk of expensive and embarrassing harassment from bureaucrats who see their job as making the rules and all willing to use all their far-too-extensive powers to build their Leftist Utopias, mostly by consigning the likes of conservatives to all the punishments they can create and carry out.

While the activists in our federal and provincial bureaucracies don’t have the power- to put us in a homegrown version of the gulag – yet! – they do have the power to publicly demonize us and to make us spent large sums of money to defend our honour against their ludicrous claims. And don’t think that they aren’t agitating as aggressively as they can to acquire ever more power. I feel sure that there are at least a few Leftist bureaucrats who are already crafting the arguments for why people like us need to be kept separate from the civilized society until such time as we can be made to kowtow to their rules. Whether they will persuade the politicians to go that far remains to be seen. Personally, I’m not betting that the politicians will resist the temptation to go ahead and set up detention camps for all those who aren’t sufficiently Politically Correct.

I’m beginning to understand why American conservatives place so much importance on their Second Amendment. Sometimes the only way to resist tyranny is physical resistance as they found during their own Revolutionary War.

Kelvin Grabowsky – you are more correct than I wish it were

After the Brit soldier was beheaded in the UK the police literally arrested people tweeting it was an Islamic terror attack. I was there and saw it happen.

Drudge has already been warned his web site is in the verge of federal attack.

Canada is well known for being a HRC slime ball – in fact while in Jordan two year ago I was confronted there by people telling me they were surprised the sentences were so light – they figured anyone found guilty should have been sentenced to 10 years minimum.

Hate to say it but this site is probably already under the watchful eye – however you can be certain the lefty’s and the slammers will get a pass – that is how it always goes.

Anyone here ever have the honour and privilege of writing a coherent and polite missive in a cbc thread and watch it get deleted?

Freedom of speech in this country is truly in serious danger – bring on the civil war.

What happened to the state’s neutrality when it comes to religion?

This HRC commissioner has crossed the line because she has used the power of HRC and her position to advocate and admonish parliament, something she is not entitled to do, that entitlement belongs to parliament.

As an appointed officer of parliament, we expect that the holder of the position capable of restraint and free from partisanship. Can you imagine other officers of parliament giving unsolicted advice to MPs because their personal feelings need venting?

Hi Yousa Kamadick – glad you are back

I ask you again:

Will you renounce sharia law?
Will you renounce the killing of apostates?
Will you renounce forced marriage of young girls to old men?
Will you renounce honour killings?
Will you renounce the killing of those who draw Mohammed?
Will you renounce female genital mutilation?
Will you renounce the beating of wives in accordance with the book?
Will you renounce isolation and preach assimilation into Canadian culture?
Will you renounce halal fees on food items sold in grocery stores?
Will you renounce the killing of homosexuals?
Will you renounce the subjugation of women?
Will you renounce hate speak towards non ’slamics?
Will you renounce Taqiyya?
Will you renounce slavery?

Or do you refuse to answer because you approve of those actions?

Have you asked any of your buddies a the mosque yet? Perhaps you can do that tomorrow morning.

Have a good one.

What is absolutely mind boggling is that the rights of 37-million people are being abused by these kangaroo courts. We are now under an illegal government, that is as corrupt as the come. The Liberal mob was out in full force, and was global attack lead by the UN, using their tool Obama.
