Hypocritical Vision Vancouver politician liked Trump name when it was on donation cheque

Christopher WilsonRebel Commentator

Kerry Jang, Vancouver City Councillor thinks we care what he thinks about Donald Trump.

Like so many progressive politicians, he’s participating in the currently trendy leftist effort to get the developer of the Vancouver Trump Tower to remove the Trump name but in doing so, Jang expects us to overlook the fact that Vision Vancouver accepted a substantial campaign donation from this very same developer in the last municipal election.

I have the facts that demonstrate the incredible hypocrisy and when considering  Vision Vancouver’s awful record, I really have to wonder how they can accuse other politicians of being morally reprehensible?

Toronto said the same thing, but if those Towers and his Name and the business’ in them weren’t there,, there would be a lot less tax money. These type of people want on the band wagon for bragging rights. If he becomes Pres maybe could make it a felon to join Left Wing Thinking Parties

Good work Chris, nice to see some comments about the bonehead libtards in Vancouver.

I would bet that at least 75% of all the people that feel it necessary to condemn Trump, in public, are just scared of the Muzly Wuzlys. Bunch of Wimps

Ian Stephens, Guy Fraser is correct. If Kerry Jang and his supporters were truly people of integrity, and they want to make their last stand on this hill, they should first raise and return the money contributed to their campaign by Holborn Holdings. I may not be guilty of the sins of my ancestors, but nor do I have the right to profit off of their ill-gotten gains, even if I find out about it after the fact. Hypocrisy all around in this case.

Prove you mean what you say Kerry Jang! Get 20,000 supporters to chip in $5 each and you chip in $5000 and send the Developer a cashiers check for $105,000 to repay the donation. If you can’t do that, your “all talk, no action” pusillanimous social justice wankers.

Who really give a shit what these grandstanding idiots say or think about Donald Trump? Donald Trump sure as hell does not! I don’t either, in fact I would vote for the Donald in a heart beat. Compare Mr. Trump with what we have here in Canada as a PM – yuk, it makes me sick to even think about that self serving, lying, stealing empty headed dick that was made PM of this great country by idiot lefty voters.

Excellent report, Chris! Keep up the straight talk.

Paul, the 2014 municipal election has past, Holborn Holdings donation has been spent, and the only thing connecting Holborn Holdings to Trump is a license to use the Trump name. Yes, facts are “a bitch”.

He Ian
That damned donation check is still there though. Facts are bitch eh.

““*Trump International Hotel & Tower® Vancouver is not owned, developed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their principals or affiliates.* West Georgia Holdings Inc. and West Georgia Development Limited Partnership are the owners and developers of the property, and use the “Trump” name and mark under license from DT Marks Vancouver LP, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms.””

Chris, Holborn Holdings only bought the rights to the Trump name, and is not a “Trump developer”. Further, Vision Vancouver accepted a donation from Holborn Holdings before the Vancouver election of November 2014, more than a year before Trump made his pledge to ban Muslim travellers to the States, and over seven months before Trump announced his candidacy. It would be hypocritical to push for the name change only if Jang and Vision Vancouver knew about Trump’s plans and opinions beforehand, back in 2014.

This is not a joke comment, I swear this is true…. Jang came to know, at university, that his penis was extra small, as a result, he made it his life mission to take on the ‘big boys’. Here, if you don’t believe it, check out the link:
