Iran keeps testing Obama -- and he keeps failing

Marissa SemkiwRebel Commentator

On the Iranian nuke deal, Iran is pushing the limits by perversely offering less. Why? Because it can!

Earlier this week, Iran hijacked a Marshall Islands cargo ship traveling through international waters – a country that the U.S. has full legal responsibility for the defense of.

That’s quite provocative is it not?  An act of war, perhaps? And Obama did what? Nothing.

Not even, as far as I can tell, make a statement.

Yesterday in New York, Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s Foreign Minister, said that when Iran strikes a deal with the West, Obama will be forced to stop enforcing sanctions immediately, and will have to lift ALL congressional sanctions within weeks.

He specifically repudiated White House claims that sanctions would be phased out over an extended period.

In other words, he snubbed his nose at U.S. power. Is it any wonder?

I just hope it happens sooner than later, before Iran gets its Nuclear capabilities in full operating order. Something will happen soon I think. And since Obama is basically giving Netanyahu the finger, and Iran the green light, Bibi will have no choice. He really can’t afford to wait, not just for his country but for us all. It will be much worse down the road. This whole thing could be turned around if we had some decent leadership in the West. Iran has never been so emboldened, ditto for Russia, and yes North Korea is chomping at the bit for the phone call. The second time in my life to be around for such an escalation, and I don’t think Putin and his buddies have nearly as much sense as Khrustchev ended up having, when he called it off/cried uncle?

Something is happening here but I don’t know what it is. If it’s what it’s advertised to be it would be over already, deal or no deal.

Maurice Potvin – I too hope we are wrong but like you, cannot ignore the evidence.

Ron Zager, as Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are in the region, I expect their troops will end up in the ground battle initially, but we may find ground war on our soil too. In Baltimore, Nation of Islam (the gang and Islamic State proxy) has recruited (subsumed) the Bloods and the Cripps, just as we learned Islamic State recruited disaffected poor blacks with promises of fighter reinforcements, arms and profit in Ferguson. They have considerable appeal to disaffected, poor FN and immigrant dissidents in Canada too. The Mexican drug cartels (you know, the ones that do all the Islamist-style beheadings to intimidate and get power over whole regions in Mexico where police no longer go) have been in BC for a decade and if they are in BC, they are elsewhere in Canada too.

Marissa nails it as usual. :-)

Joan Abernethy, Bingo! That’s exactly what I expect. Let’s hope and pray that we’re both wrong! (trouble is… I don’t think we are)

I doubt if the 60 so-called allies will ever get around to defeating terrorism in the Mid East. Who is going to send the ground troops for a fight to the death?

In the remarks Harper made today about our relationship and partnership with Jordan, he said Jordan is one of over 60 countries with whom Canada has allied to fight radical Islamic caliphates like Islamic State. Once the allies finalize the plan, depending on current events, of course, Israel will strike and take out Iran’s program before it can escalate. Then Mr. Potvin may be correct that we will see a nasty conflagration all over the world. What makes this situation a particularly big threat to world peace is that Putin is allied with Iran and Iran with North Korea, and they have jointly, with Obama’s help, already seriously destabilized the region all around Israel.

By early next year?

Ron Zager – doubtful. Nation of Islam has organized the Bloods and the Cripps in Baltimore just like IS has organized Boko Haram in Africa and Al Qaeda in Syria and Iraq.

My condolences to those Americans serving in uniform. The largest tragedy of all is not the Commander in Chief betraying his nation but the uniformed service forced to allow it. Obama has dismissed all the patriotic leadership or there would have been a coup. Maybe there still will be.

Baltimore keeps this off the main news. Coincidence?

I don’t think there’s any doubt about it. Things will come to a head and explode in the middle east and morph into a global holocaust. The only question is when. I hope I won’t be around when it happens, but suspect I will. I suspect it will happen during Obama’s Presidency. The fault for it will lie squarely at the feet of Obama, and not by accident but by his own design. Foreign Minister for Iran: Obama: They are both misleading us. The Shia Muslim in the White House will lead us into WWIII.

The USA is sending Warships to escort American Merchant ships in this area. This from BBC News at 6pm. Barak Obama is still nothing more than a Bloody Wanker, for all that.

Iran will always play 4 or 5 sides of the coin, in any deal…….Obama should’ve known that :-(

Here goes it looks like I am the first to comment.
With regard to the U.S.Navy escourting U.S. flag regestered ships though the straits of harnuz. Can any one tell me how many "U.S flagged ships there are in the world and how many go through the straits? I thought most ships are registered in foiregn countries ie; Panama, Liberia, Malta, Nigeria, etc. countries with lessor costs. What ever happened to the U.S. merchant marines or the British Merchant marines. there all gone.
In my opinion Iran is guilty of high seas piracy and Obama did nothing like usual.
