The latest and greatest in sex toys for Muslims is coming to Mecca.
According to Arabic news portal, Alyaoum24, 'halal sex shops' are expanding.
Moroccan Muslim, Abdelaziz Aouragh, consulted a Saudi cleric about sex items that would enhance the improvement of the sexual relationship between husband and wife.
Aouragh partnered with German company 'Beate Uhse' – the largest provider of 'sexciting' products in Europe.
“Our products does not include inflatable dolls but products that increase feelings of sensuality and improve the atmosphere between the couple in the sexual relationship between them,” he said.
“The image of women in the kitchen with burqa is not a true picture,” Aouragh added. “There is a lot of love and respect Islam has for adult women. Our store puts women at the center, offers information, and provides answers to frequently asked questions on sex.”
The Metro reports that the store will sell 18 ‘Islamically-approved’ toys, but will not be offering vibrators as they are not allowed in Islam.
So, what are the toys? Latex niqabs?
