Rachel Notley’s botched attempt to bully us failed. But I’ll tell you who else is already lining up to censor us.
The NDP have hired a former journalist, Heather Boyd, to "consult and give us recommendations on what the government’s media policies should be."
Apparently Boyd's been asked to report back in two to three weeks. And she’s being paid $9,500 for that.
Who said times were tough in Alberta? That’s supermodel money!
But what if Heather Boyd actually earns her $9,500 dollars for two weeks work by proposing the creation of a committee of media types -- like, say, some of the unionized reporters at the CBC -- who would now decide who gets to call themselves journalists?
It would be like the College of Physicians and Surgeons; there would be entry fees, dues, maybe even exams...
Do you think that sounds crazy?
Well, WATCH and find out exactly who is floating this idea -- on the left AND the right...
