Justin Trudeau says Harper's travel ban violates terrorists' human rights! (What would his father think?)

Rebel Staff

Prime Minister Harper has promised that, if re-elected, his government will ban Canadians from traveling to terrorist controlled countries.

It's important to remember that Canadians will still be able to travel to these areas for legitimate reasons, such as journalism and providing aid.

But "terror tourism" is a real problem: More than 100 Canadians have gone abroad to fight with ISIS already.

Of course, Justin Trudeau is against this idea. He says it will violate would-be terrorists' human rights!

His own father brought in martial law to deal with the FLQ -- and the media whined about that too, complaining the Pierre Trudeau had called terrorists "bandits" and not "political prisoners."

The problem has always been how to best restrict the person or persons from joining the terrorists. Taking away their passport has been suggested and was met with so much disdain. Another suggestion was to strip them of their citizenship with the same results and controversy.
I also agree with those that say how does the government monitor everyone that wants to go over and fight with the terrorists, unless our clandestine service and the RCMP target the ones they are suspicious of and restrict them. But what about the sneaky ones or the newly converted that have not yet shown up on the radar?
I agree with the statement of letting them go and not letting them return, however we all know that that will be met with the bleeding heart mentality of the left and would never fly. Can anyone see angry Tom or the hair head agreeing to any of this? I sure can’t. Can you not hear the shouting in the house if the government restricted immigration from those hot beds, Mr. Harper will be called a bigot, islamaphobic (hope I spelt it right spell check does not work) etc. The government can pass laws to take care of the situation but we also know that the SCOC will then get in the act and squash anything like that citing charter violations and so on or make up their own interpretation to suit.
So I believe that what Mr. Harper is suggesting should be tried and then judgements and or changes made after the plan has been implemented for some time.

Bill, I am kind of torn on that. It is best not to “export” our idiot jihadist terrorists to fight and kill other people around the world. How many people will they kill before they get killed? And even though we are not responsible (as a nation) directly for that, there is that Canada would be something like an unwilling accessory to that person’s murders. On the other hand, we don’t really want the twit here, either.

Frankly, I can’t think what Harper is trying to do here. If some jihadi want’s to leave, let them go – but they can’t come back. You fight for a terror clique banned in Canada, or any other open display of treason, you forfeit citizenship. It’s time Canadian citizenship means something again. The better move would be to ban immigration from ISIS nations.

As for the hair apparent and his eternally confused policies, every word out of his mouth betrays the isolation of cloistered privilege and detachment from the real world.

islamic terrorism is the hired partner of the world’s socialists – so many examples of the left standing up (partnering) for islamic terrorisms (terrorists).

So the silence of Canada’s socialist parties is no surprise – it makes sense.

Once again – a test for the MAJORITY of Canadian voters – how gullible/ stupid are the majority of Canadian voters???

The drama teacher’s answer to terrorism – give them a hug, don’t call them terrorists that’s rude. Paraphrasing, but that’s Just-in and Mud-clear for that matter.

lol that’s exactly where I was going, Pierre Trudeau’s martial law declaration. So I guess the acorn fell at least a little ways from the tree, so there may be hope for ol Justin yet

That is pretty strong stuff. I didn’t stand with Pierre, but that is an impressive clip. Justin is not 1/10 the man his father was. Hasn’t the smarts or the integrity. Justin is a vacillating coward. You could say a lot about Pierre, but you couldn’t say that.

Of course he is against it… remember people !
Justin is a puppet fool for the real spirit that wants him elected …The mosques he visits fund his campaign, he is their “in” to our countries power station.

This is the ONE election that has NOTHING to do with “parties or platforms” but it IS a power struggle of Spirit! The mosques Justin visits fund his campaign, Justin is their "puppet for the Islamic move into the power of Canada’s government!

The Lieberal Party of Canada. That great defender of Human Rights that had the President of the Business Development Bank of Canada’s home raided by police when he would not authorize tax money to be given to a Lieberal crony,a friend of the Chretien Lieberal Gov’t. Methinks Junior would be off side with his father on this subject. Mind you, Trudope needs to show his allegiance to the Muzzies to get their vote!

This is another instance where the focus by the regressive left is on rights and freedoms of democracy, while ignoring the responsibilities. By all means citizens should have the right and freedom to travel internationally, but they also have the responsibility to act in Canada’s interest, not against it.
