Las Vegas Golden Knights arena goes totally politically correct, invites fans to enjoy 'holiday tree', no mention of Christmas

The Vegas Golden Knights will be playing at T-Mobile Arena next year, but for now, the arena is giving fans a major dose of political correctness.

In a post on Facebook, T-Mobile Arena said, “From a 60-foot holiday tree to our first-ever ice rink at #ToshibaPlaza, we have everything you need to enjoy the holiday season. Join us tomorrow as we kick off Holiday at The Park starting around 5:00PM.”

On the arena's website, the term 'holiday tree' is yet again mentioned, but so too is Santa Claus. It seems like that while taking elements associating with Christmas (because Christmas is awesome), they don't want to be associated with the holiday.

“Tis’ the season at The Park from November 19, 2016 – January 15, 2017. An ornament-filled archway, frosted-crystal blooms, branches sparkling with icicle lights and The Park’s 60-foot holiday tree will welcome visitors to the festive winter wonderland,” the description says.

“Lace up your skates and show us your best axel jump on the first-ever ice rink at Toshiba Plaza, outside T-Mobile Arena. Don’t feel like skating? Visit Santa Claus, listen to harmonious sounds of carolers all while sipping on hot beverages and snacking on delicious holiday treats provided by Levy Restaurants.”

Carolers, trees, treats and not a single mention of Christmas. Who exactly are they trying not to offend?

Jim Reece the mouth piece……if you want to spent (your word) time on The Rebel being a fucktard knock yourself out.
You are excellent at posting hypocritical statement for sure. In one statement you talk about people and their fairy tales, then state that Jesus want not born Dec.25. So you either believe or you don’t, you can’t have it both ways fucktard.

@jimmy Reece no he wasn’t born on December 25 but he did observe Hanukka (Hebrew for the dedication)

John 10:22
And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

I don’t celebrate Ramadan and Jesus wasn’t actually born on December 25th.

DREW WAKARIUK, if you want to attend slut walk or pride week, you are free to do so. My point is I call it a Christmas 🎄 but I really could care less what anyone else chooses to call it. Call it whatever you want. Say Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Festivas, say whatever makes you happy 😊.

The trolls need to understand that they cannot only ignore one religion , they cannot do this and celebrate Ramadan.

Kelly Weber does that go for the slut walk and Pride week?

Perhaps removing everything related to Christianity from Christmas allows more atheists and assorted unbelievers to celebrate the season with less guilt.

@jimmy Reese…you would be singing a different carol if people were renaming Ramadan and you know it. Just BTW I happen to be buddhist. I will be spending Christmas this year the guest of some Christian friends. Marxists are no friends of buddhism and I have no illusions about that.

CHRIST-mas. It is the MASS OF CHRIST.
It is the celebration of the birth of Christ.
What is so difficult about that?
It doesn’t matter what you WANT to call it, it is CALLED CHRISTMAS.
If you don’t like that, then don’t celebrate it, go to work, get drunk, stay at home or simply mind your own business.

Glenn Craig,

I call it Christmas. If you want to spent your time bitching about something so meaningless in the big picture, then knock yourself out.

@ Jimmy Reece…if it really menas that little to you than let the people to whom it matters have their say….nobody is forcing you to use the word Christmas….being prohibited from saying it is the tyrany …not the saying of it.

I’m really sick of people whining about this sh*t every year. Call the 🌲 whatever the f*ck you want. They can call it a holiday 🌲 and you can call it a Christmas 🎄

Who gives a fuck?

Look I get it that people who believe in fairy tales are offended by this and I agree that it’s silly, but choose your battles. This one is dumb.

Christmas isn’t even about Jesus anymore. It’s a day off from work that people get to spend with their family, which includes great food and presents.
